Nigerian Actress, Judy Austin’s Ex-husband Storms May Edochie’s Event

Obasi Emmanuel, the ex-husband of Nollywood actress Judy Austin, attended an event hosted by businesswoman May Yul-Edochie in Ebonyi State on Sunday.

Obasi was married to Judy Austin before their marriage ended, and is now married to actor Yul Edochie.

The actress’s ex-husband took to Instagram to share a video of himself at May’s event and used the opportunity to sub the ‘association of husband snatchers.’

He wrote, “WE ARE LIVE IN EBONYI STATE TO SHOW THE WORLD HOW WE DEY RUN AM, SMALL-time preek warriors and husband snatchers will say it is AI.

“No preek warrior is allowed here. Only descent people. This place is not for the Husband Snatchers Association”

Earlier, Judy Austin has warned her fans to desist from sending evil wishes to those who are against her.

Speaking via a post shared on Instagram, she stated that she saw an AI video where someone who had made a bad comment about her, was put inside a coffin by her (Judy) fans.

Judy cautioned her supporters against wishing anyone dead, insisting that it does not represent who she is.

She said, ‘’I saw some very disturbing images of people in caskets, posts wishing people de@d, even some AI images showing the person de@d. That really broke my heart. It really did.

“So let me be very clear, that kind of action does not represent me. It is not love, it is not support and it is wrong.

“Wishing somebody de@d in the name of supporting me, no matter the provocation, no matter the trigger, no matter what the person say and you allow yourself to reduce to this level, have it in mind that you are not doing it for me. It will never represent who I am. It is plain ev!l. Nobody deserves that. Life is sacred. It is not something you joke with.

“Please, if you truly love me, please stop! Biko stop!”

Nigerian Singer, Peter Okoye Shuts Down Possibility Of P-Square Ever Reuniting

One half of the now-defunct music duo P-Square, Peter Okoye, popularly known as Mr P, has firmly dismissed any possibility of the group reuniting.

P-Square, which consisted of twin brothers Peter and Paul Okoye, rose to fame as one of Africa’s most successful music acts, celebrated for their electrifying stage performances, synchronized dance routines, and a string of hit songs that dominated the airwaves for years.

The duo first split in 2017 following internal disagreements that played out publicly, much to the disappointment of fans. After a prolonged period of tension and widely reported family disputes, the brothers reconciled in 2021, sparking excitement and hope for a lasting reunion.

However, the renewed partnership proved short-lived, as they reportedly fell out again in 2024 and have since returned to pursuing separate careers as solo artistes.

Reaffirming his stance, Peter recently responded to a fan on X (formerly Twitter) who asked about the possibility of P-Square coming back together.

In a brief but decisive reply, he wrote: “Not with me. Done and dusted.”

His statement has since generated widespread reactions online, with fans expressing mixed feelings—ranging from disappointment to acceptance—as it appears the door on a P-Square reunion may now be firmly closed.

Foluke Daramola, the popular Nollywood actress, has stated that she doesn’t feel like someone who is married.

The actress made the remarks during her recent interview on the African A-List podcast.

Discussing her marriage to Kayode Salako, she described her husband as the “definition of peace.”

Speaking about the freedom she enjoys in her marriage, Daramola said, “I don’t feel like I’m married. My husband is the definition of peace for me.

“If I tell Kayode now that I will be going to Canada tonight and will spend up to a year there, he will say bye-bye. It doesn’t mean he doesn’t love me; he just feels like he shouldn’t cage me.

“So I don’t feel like I’m married. He is my very good friend and my greatest cheerleader. When we fight, you would think that the marriage is going to end, but give us two hours, and everything will be settled,” she added.

This comes two years after Kayode Salako confirmed his marriage to another woman, identified as Oluwafunke Oyegoke-Salako, while still married to the actress.

Defending his decision to marry another woman, he stated that he had been married to Foluke for 13 years without a biological child.

I Never Thought I’d Be Single At 37 – Jason Derulo Opens Up

American singer Jason Derulo, born Jason Joel Desrouleaux, has shared a personal reflection about his love life, revealing that he once expected to settle down much earlier.

The artist admitted that he never imagined he would still be single at the age of 37, noting that his younger self had envisioned marriage happening much sooner in life.

In an interview with Graham Bensinger, the ‘Don’t Wanna Go Home’ hitmaker candidly revealed that his experience changed his perspective on marriages.

The singer said he has witnessed a lot of breakups and tensed moments of couples, which made him scared of commitment.

“I thought I was going to marry a lot of the girls I dated. Never in a million years I thought that I would be 37 and single.

“However, I have seen too much. I have seen too much in my life. You could imagine the things that I have seen; married women leaving their spouses on the spot, leaving their men in the club.

“I have seen everything under the sun,” he expressed.

Derulo and fellow singer Jordin Sparks dated for three years, before ending their relationship in September 2014.

In 2021, he welcomed a son with his girlfriend Jena Frumes. The couple broke up barely five months after the arrival of their child.
