Popular music star, Davido is overjoyed as his father touches down in Nigeria on his private jet ahead of his son’s wedding with Chioma.

Excitement is already being built up as the stated date of the wedding draws near.

Davido took to his Instagram page to reveal that his father, Mr Adeleke has also arrived to attend the event.

A  video that he shared on his Instagram page captures the moment his father landed at the airportin his luxurious private jet.

He could be seen being welcomed by a team of pilots and other crew members.

Sharing the  video on his Instagram page, Davido expressed excitement over his father’s arrival, adding that his twin is here.

“My twin has landed”, Davido captioned the clip.

In another, he wrote, “Papa Bear is here”.

It would be worth noting that the singer is set to tie the knot with Chioma on the 25th of June, 2024.

Dammy Krane blasts Davido ahead of his wedding, says he’ll never have peace

Popular singer, Dammy Krane vows Davido will never have peace as he lays heavy accusations against the musician ahead of his wedding ceremony with Chioma in Lagos.

Dammy Krane took to his page to alleged that the reason Davido is getting married to Chioma was only because she caught him cheating.

While congratulating the singer on his wedding, he informed him that there is nothing worse than murder.

He also added that the singer can have money but he can never have peace.

American superstar singer, Beyoncé has revealed why she’s no longer moved by charts and commercial success.
She attributed her change to growth.
The 42 year-old pop star, who recently went out of her way by releasing a country music album ‘Cowboy Carter,’ said she was grateful for the “extraordinary success” of the new album, adding that it changed her life.
“There was a time in my life when charts and sales excited and motivated me,” Beyoncé told The Hollywood Reporter.
 
“Once you have challenged yourself and poured every ounce of your life, your pain, your growth and your dreams into your art, it’s impossible to go backward.
 
“I’m very grateful and humbled for the extraordinary success of the new album.”

I Almost Lost My Life – Singer Crayon Confesses

Nigerian singer, Charles Chibuezechukwu aka Crayon, has revealed that he almost lost his life in 2022.
He stated that it happened when he was struggling with his music.
Appearing on a recent episode of ‘Drip Check,’ the singer disclosed that he battled depression in 2020 due to a lack of public acceptance despite releasing songs back-to-back.
Crayon said, “2020 was one of my darkest years in the game. I dropped about seven songs and no one gained traction. I remember when I dropped ‘Gbona,’ it was about to take off then COVID-19 struck and everything shut down. And ‘Gbona’ was a club banger. I dropped the video, but it still didn’t pick up. I was dropping songs biweekly.
 
“I had a breakdown in early 2022. People don’t come back from that sh*t, me standing right here now is a miracle. I almost lost my life,” he added.

Ballon d’Or 2024: Michael Owen Names Favorites To Win Award

Micahel Owen, the world-famous former Manchester United striker, has named Real Madrid stars Jude Bellingham and Vinicius Junior as the favorites to win the 2024 Ballon d’Or.

Bellingham and Vinicius were impressive for Real Madrid last season.

They helped Los Blancos won both the Champions League and the LaLiga.

“Bellingham has obviously done great. If England go and have a great Euros then he would be the obvious one. Vinícius Júnior has done equally well,” Owen said, as quoted by DAZN.

“You have just got to wait for the Euros, haven’t you? If Mbappe goes and scores a hat trick again in a final, like he did in the World Cup, he could be a late runner.

“As things stand, it probably looks like it is a toss-up between those two, Vinicius Junior and Bellingham, but there is still the biggest tournament to go of the year, so things can change.”

CAF Fixes Date For AFCON 2025

The 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) is scheduled to take place from December 21, 2025, to January 18, 2026.

The Confederation of African Football, CAF, took the decision at its virtual executive meeting on Friday.

The competition was originally fixed for summer in 2025 but CAF had to look for a new date with the expanded FIFA Club World Cup scheduled for the same period.

The draw for the 2025 AFCON will hold in Johannesburg, South Africa next month.

The qualifying matches will run from September to October, 2024.

Morocco has been picked as the host of the competition.

Why I Avoided Ronaldo When I Bumped Into Him – Lampard Opens Up

Frank Lampard, the world-famous England and Chelsea legend, has revealed why he avoided Cristiano Ronaldo on holiday.

Lampard spoke in a chat with BBC Sport.

He said: “I actually bumped into Cristiano Ronaldo on a holiday a few months ago. I was in the same hotel on the beach.

“Unfortunately, his sunspot every day was a bit down from me and I made sure to stay away from him because he was in incredible shape, so I gave him a little bit of distance! I pulled him over as I wanted my son to have a picture because of the player he’s been. I quickly put my t-shirt on and had a nice picture with him.”

The Englishman further explained that the former Real Madrid and Juventus ace had been going to the gym twice with his trainer even on vacation.

“I noticed he was going to the gym twice a day with his personal trainer. Just shows you his dedication to what he does. I might have been sipping a beer watching him and I did give him a ripple of applause as he walked back,” he said

Ronaldo and Lampard will go down as two of football’s greatest players.

Both players faced off several times while playing for Chelsea and Manchester United respectively.

Ronaldo is currently with the Portugal team at EURO 2024 in what could be his last international tournament.
