Iyabo Ojo, the popular Nollywood actress, who is also a critic of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has pledged to believe in and support the ruling party if they can get justice for late singer, Mohbad.
Recall that the late singer died on Tuesday at 27 in a controversial manner.
Reacting to the grief and speculation surrounding his passing, the police on Thursday, in a statement by its Force Public Relations Officer, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, promised to investigate the circumstances surrounding Mohbad’s death.
Ojo, in a post shared on her Instagram page on Saturday, revealed that everything she read about him made her shed tears as she further noted how he cried out and no one listened to him.
Calling for justice, she stated that Mohbad’s death should be everybody’s business.
“Honestly, I will believe and support APC if Mohbad can get justice. That boy’s soul is crying for justice.
“Autopsy needed. Investigation is seriously needed. Every day I read something about him, I shed tears. No, he cried out, and no one listened to him.
“How? Nooooo, it’s not my business should be cancelled at this moment, it’s everybody’s business.
“His soul needs to rest. #justiceformohbad.”
Iyabo Ojo, the Nigerian actress, has talked about Mohbad.
The actress, on Wednesday, described death as a sad reality following the demise of the late popular artiste, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, aka MohBad.
While posting memories she had with the late artiste on her Instagram handle, @iyaboojofesprins, Ojo also sent a condolence message to MohBad’s partner and her five-month-old son.
The mother of two noted how death is inevitable as she said his demise was shocking and painful.
The actress confirmed MohBad’s jovial spirit and described him as someone who didn’t like trouble.
She wrote, “Death….is one shocking and painful reality that is inevitable. It’s so hard to accept.
“We say we can’t question God, but God knows I have sinned against him. Bcos I have questioned him one too many times.
“It’s a hard acceptance, to ri hmmmmm eni kan lomo ooooo
“At Mohbad, I will never forget the 3 days we toured together in the UK for the One Africa Music festival. Very calm, respectful, and at the same time jovial. May your gentle soul rest in perfect peace.
“My condolences go out to his family, most especially his dear wife and son. May God grant you the fortitude to bear your loss.
“It is well.”
The former Marlian record signee died on Tuesday, September 12, 2023, at the age of 27.

She took to social media to express worry at the increased hardship suffered by Nigerians.
Sharing on her Instagram page, Iyabo Ojo reacted to the government’s plan to offer N8,000 monthly to needy residents, wondering whether the people have the resilience to weather the storm till the promised “Renewed Hope” arrives.
She spoke about the country’s dismal position, particularly the ongoing food crisis. She labeled the government’s proposed palliative care strategy a “joke” and a “slap” in the face to the suffering people.
In her words: “I hope Nigerians have the strength to hold on b4 we begin to reap this our imaginary Renewed Hope…..
“There is serious hunger in the land, and 8k monthly to the poor is definitely not the solution… That is definitely a joke & a slap.”
