Elozonam Ogbolu, a Big Brother Naija reality star, has talked about dating in Lagos.

He described dating in Lagos as a “cesspool.”

According to him, many Lagosians are dating the same people.

He stated this while appearing as a guest on the latest episode of the Is This Seat Taken podcast, hosted by actress Chinasa Anukam.

The reality star said he will choose his bride from a remote village when he is ready to marry.

He said: “Lagos is a cesspool. The person that you are having sex with is probably having sex with somebody that knows somebody that you know.

“So, I have often told myself that if I’m gonna get married, I will just go out and meet a village girl [laughs].

“What I mean is that I will just go out of this cesspool to somewhere remote and just marry somebody because Lagos is a cesspool.”

Alexander Adelabu, the fast-rising Nigerian singer, who is better known as Magixx, has bought a new car.

The singer splurged millions of naira on a brand new Mercedes Benz.

The Mavin Records signee took to his Instagram page to showcase his new whip, and reflected on the challenges he faced before achieving fame.

According to him, he used to trek from Oke Ira to the Ogba area of Lagos state so it is only fitting for him to reward himself with a Mercedes Benz as a form of compensation.

The 23-year-old singer shared photos of him posing with his brand new automobile.

He then captioned it, “Used to Trek from oke ira to Ogba, it’s only right to cop an AMG for all the pain”

Davido’s baby mama, Larissa London has revealed that she has been passing through hard times.
She made the revelation during a Q&A session with fans.
She also revealed that Davido’s photo with son, Dawson, is over a year old.
This comes after social media users attacked her for posting the photo of Davido’s son on Father’s day.
Responding to this, she revealed that the photo had been an old one from last year and could just as well would have posted it last year if she had wanted to.
“Lol the picture is like a year old. I could have posted it last year but ok,” she said.
Another netizen praised her beauty while urging her to give them more contents; Larissa London in response revealed that behind the facade she portrays, things have been quite difficult for her and she’s been trying to get things together.

He made the revelation on social media.
According to Akpi, if you take a look at the richest people in the world, you will realize that they don’t have beard.
He said: “Bearded men no dey too get money. They are not on the list of dollar millionaires and billionaires. Look around. Tell me, which president has beards.
 
“Maybe you are not dirty, but globally, facial hair is associated with poverty. Look around, which dollar billionaire has facial hair? Even African billionaires don’t have facial hair.
 
“[Femi] Otedola and [Aliko] Dangote don’t have facial hair. No American billionaire has facial hair. All the powerful presidents with strong armies don’t have facial hair. So, money and facial hair have no business.”

Popular street artiste, Portable, clinched the Artiste of the Year award at the Golden Stars Award, on Sunday.

Celebrating his latest win, the ‘Zazoo Zeh’ crooner took to his Instagram page to share a clip of himself and the award with a message stating his new status as the “new born Fela.”

I Failed Under Sony Music, I Had To Go Home – Davido

Afrobeats star, Davido Adeleke aka Davido has revealed that when he got signed to American record label, Sony Music, there was a decline in his career.

He disclosed that 2016 was “a dead year” for him because his debut EP under Sony was a colossal failure.

He made this known while featuring on the latest episode of the Drink Champs podcast co-hosted by N.O.R.E and DJ EFN which went viral on Saturday.

He said in part, “I remember telling them [Sony Music team] that the producers you guys put me in with are cool but I need to go home. I was in America for almost seven months.

“I woke up one day and I was like, I need to go home. So, I just got on a plane and went back home. My brother, two weeks from when I got back home, ‘If’ blew up.

“Every artist can go through it; that point when you are so high, you’re untouchable, and then down the line you started fading. Every artist goes through that. That is the worst thing ever. I have had that period in my life and I was like, nah, I need to go back. Immediately I got back home, I got back my mojo.”

President Tinubu To Proceed On First Official Trip To France

Nigeria’s leading man, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is expected to attend the Global Financing Pact Summit in Paris, France, next week.

This will be Tinubu’s first official trip overseas as Nigerian president since his swearing-in ceremony on May 29.

According to SaharaReporters, sources in the presidency revealed that Tinubu’s visit was also a “strategy” to see his team of medical doctors.

“BAT is to attend the Global Financing Pact Summit in Paris, France, next week. This will be his first official trip outside Nigeria since his assumption of duty as President,” one of the top sources disclosed on Saturday.

“The trip is to check his health too. It is a strategy to go to hospital,” another source noted.

Superstar Afrobeats artist, David Adeleke, aka Davido, has opined that most beautiful girls in Nigeria are from Imo state, where his wife, Chioma hails from.

Burna Boy Under Fire For Cancelling Show After Fans Filled Stadium

Superstar Nigerian artiste, Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, has received backlash on social media for cancelling his headline show billed for Saturday night at the GelreDome, Arnhem, Netherlands after the stadium was already filled with fans.

Fans reportedly filled the 41,000-capacity-seater waiting for hours for the Grammy winner to thrill them before they received the rude news of the late cancellation of the show.

Burna Boy took to his Instastory midnight to announce that the show won’t be holding despite fans already filling the venue.

The music star said he was anticipating performing for his Dutch fans but unfortunately, it couldn’t happen due to “a number of reasons.”

He said his “amazing team has been hard at work trying to salvage it but we couldn’t do it in time.”

He promised to announce a new date soon.

However, Burna Boy’s explanation didn’t seem to sit well with fans as they took to social media to berate the singer and his team over their action.

An aggrieved fan wrote: “Useless. Got us waiting for more than two hours, to cancel the show at midnight. Rubbish.”

Another fan wrote: “Burna isn’t supposed to be a celeb, doesn’t have what it takes. So unwise in handling fans, canceling shows after much delay. That’s disrespectful! More unwise are fans who idolize him, turn up every time. Y’all create an association to deal with any celeb that messes up. So unwise.”
