Why you should do DNA test on your kids – Geh Geh

Social commentator Geh Geh has urged men to conduct DNA tests on their children, disclosing that he has six children with six different women and is currently undergoing his fifth DNA test.

In a video circulating online, Geh Geh said he had just returned from a DNA test and advised fathers to establish the paternity of their children.

“I just dey come from where I go do DNA. If you are a man and you get children, I beg you, go do DNA test. Now I get six children with six different women. This one na the fifth DNA I dey do,” he said.

He added that he had informed members of his family that any of his children without a DNA result would not be recognised as his child if anything happened to him.

Explaining his position, Geh Geh said, “Why? Because modern problems require modern solutions.”

He also spoke about inheritance in his tradition, claiming that when a man dies, his possessions, including cars, money, houses and even his wife, may be shared, but his children are not.

According to him, fatherhood comes with the responsibility of raising and providing for one’s children, which he described as one of the most important responsibilities a man has.

“I had to see for myself” – Gilmore shares two-year experience with the Mercedes-Benz CLA his family opposed

Content creator and skit maker Gilmore has recounted how he ignored his mother and aunty’s advice against buying a Mercedes-Benz CLA, revealing that he has driven the car for two years without experiencing any major problems.

Speaking during an appearance on #WithChude podcast, Gilmore explained that his aunty warned him against purchasing the vehicle because of its alleged air-conditioning problems, despite never having owned one herself.

He added that both women cautioned him about the car’s fuel consumption and possible engine faults, even though neither had personally used the model.

“My aunty told me not to buy a Mercedes CLA because it usually has AC problems, and she has never owned one before. Even my mother too. The two people wey dey advise me never use wetin them dey advise me for, they just dey hear am,” he stated.

Gilmore argued that people often project their personal beliefs onto others, urging individuals to think independently rather than blindly accept advice, even from their parents.

“People project their own mentality onto others. You have to have a mind of your own, even to your parents. Telling me that it consumes fuel and does have engine problems, but have you ever experienced that engine problem before?” he questioned.

He disclosed that he eventually bought the Mercedes-Benz CLA and had driven it for two years, experiencing only minor issues with the air conditioning and no major problems.

Gilmore added that he planned to change the car soon, maintaining that personal experience should matter when making decisions rather than relying solely on what others have heard.

His remarks have highlighted conversations about family advice, car ownership and the importance of making independent choices.

“Even if they bring Peter Obi, hunger won’t finish in Nigeria” – APC supporter defends Tinubu over SUVs shared with youth leaders

A Nigerian lady who identifies as an All Progressives Congress (APC) supporter has defended President Bola Tinubu following criticism over SUVs reportedly shared with youth leaders, arguing that Nigerians should allow him to play his political game.

In a video shared on X (formerly Twitter), the woman questioned why people were complaining about the vehicles, asking whether critics would reject an SUV if they were offered one as youth leaders.

She maintained that governance and leadership were not easy, describing Tinubu as a great politician who was doing everything possible to win the next election.

“Tinubu shared ordinary SUVs, and you people are complaining. If you were one of the youth leaders and you were offered an SUV, wouldn’t you accept it? Governance is not an easy task, and being a leader is not easy.

“Tinubu is a great politician who is only doing everything possible to win the election. After all, politics is a game of who knows how to play it best,”she stated.

The APC supporter further accused critics of allowing their emotions to influence their reactions, insisting that Tinubu’s political approach differed from theirs.

She also argued that poverty would persist in Nigeria regardless of who became president, suggesting that even Peter Obi would face public criticism if he assumed office.

“You people are just being emotional. Tinubu’s political mentality is different from yours, so you should allow him to play his politics.

“And to round it up, poverty no fit finish for Nigeria. If them like make them bring Peter Obi, people will still complain,” she added.

Her remarks have brought renewed attention to discussions about political patronage, the distribution of vehicles to youth leaders and public expectations of political officeholders.

“He gave you millions to invest” – Lege Maimi calls out lady for allegedly hiding her twins from UK-based lover

Nigerian matchmaker Lege Maimi has called out a woman identified as Bisola, accusing her of hiding her twins from a UK-based man she met through his matchmaking platform.

In a video shared online, Lege Maimi explained that Bisola had joined his livestream seeking a husband. He claimed he connected her with a man in the UK who later supported her financially, including giving her millions of naira to invest in her business.

“Bisola, you’re wicked and heartless. You came to my live and told me to matchmake you with a man, which I did. A guy called in from the UK that he liked her, so I gave her to him because the guy sounded responsible.”

According to Lege Maimi, Bisola later told him the man treated her well, spoiled her with gifts and sent her to China. He alleged that the couple began planning their introduction after she reportedly told the man she had no child.

The matchmaker claimed the man discovered the alleged deception during their visit to Nigeria after overhearing a phone conversation in which someone asked Bisola about her children.

He allegedly recorded it and confronted her around 2 a.m., prompting her to admit she had twins and plead with him to continue their wedding plans.

“Bisola, you used stealing by trick to scam a man on my page. I’ll make sure you pay back all that money,” he added.

The allegations have drawn attention to honesty and financial trust in relationships. However, they have not been independently verified, and Bisola’s response was not included in Lege Maimi’s account.

Woman seeks divorce, demands ₦10,000 monthly breastfeeding allowance

A nursing mother, Firdausi Ahmad, has approached a Shari’a Court in Kaduna State to seek the dissolution of her three-year marriage to her husband, Malam Anas, alongside a monthly payment of N10,000 to support their eight-month-old daughter.

Ahmad, who appeared before the court on Thursday through her lawyer, Sani Sunusi, also requested financial support for the eight months she has spent breastfeeding the child.

Husband allegedly asks wife to return to parents

Presenting her case, Sunusi told the court that his client’s marriage to Anas had lasted for three years and that they had an eight-month-old daughter.

According to the lawyer, the marriage became troubled after the husband allegedly instructed Ahmad to return to her parents’ home and remain there until he gave her permission to return to their matrimonial home.

The lawyer further alleged that Anas had neither visited his wife nor checked on their infant daughter since Ahmad left the family home.

Sunusi said his client was no longer willing to continue with the marriage and had therefore approached the court to seek a divorce through Khul’i, a form of Islamic divorce initiated by a wife.

Wife offers to return N100,000 bride price

As part of her request for the dissolution of the marriage, Ahmad expressed her willingness to refund the N100,000 bride price paid during the marriage.

Her lawyer also urged the court to order Anas to pay N10,000 monthly to cover the child’s needs.

In addition, Sunusi requested payment for the eight months during which his client had been breastfeeding their daughter.

The lawyer presented the requests as part of the reliefs his client was seeking from the court.

Court adjourns case to November 11

Anas was absent from the court proceedings when the matter came up for hearing on Thursday.

The presiding judge, Yakubu Abdullahi, subsequently adjourned the case until November 11 to allow the complainant to present her witness or other evidence in support of her claims.

Abdullahi also directed the court registrar to send an invitation letter to the defendant and ensure that he attends the next hearing.

The court is expected to continue hearing the matter when the parties return on the adjourned date.

“I don’t know what we did to God for Tinubu to be our president” – Kenneth Okonkwo laments

Nollywood actor and political commentator Kenneth Okonkwo, a spokesperson for ADC presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar, has expressed frustration over President Bola Tinubu’s leadership, questioning what Nigerians did to God to deserve their current situation.

During an appearance on  News Central Television, Okonkwo criticised Tinubu’s presidency while expressing support for Atiku’s position on fuel affordability.

Okonkwo also drew attention to the letter A in the names of several political figures, including Atiku Abubakar, Rotimi Amaechi and himself, Arinze.

“I don’t know what we did to God for Tinubu to be our president. Oh God, we are sorry. Atiku Abubakar is for affordability. Look at the names: Atiku Abubakar, A; Amaechi, A; even me, Arinze, A too,”he added.

His remarks come amid ongoing debates about the cost of living, petrol prices and the Federal Government’s economic policies.

Okonkwo has previously defended Atiku’s proposal on fuel affordability, arguing that making petrol more affordable should be a priority for Nigerians facing rising living costs.

His latest comments have added to the political discussion surrounding Tinubu’s leadership and Atiku’s economic proposals ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Mercy Aigbe slams bloggers over Toluwanisings’ family dispute

Nollywood actress Mercy Aigbe has criticised bloggers interviewing members of the family of late gospel singer Olayemi Bayonile Bolaji, popularly known as Toluwanisings, amid an ongoing disagreement over his burial arrangements.

The actress accused some bloggers of worsening tensions between the deceased’s widow and his family instead of allowing them to grieve privately.

In a post shared on her Instagram page, Aigbe questioned the apparent lack of compassion surrounding the controversy, noting that the singer’s  death had left behind a grieving wife and two young children.

She stressed that the bereaved family needed privacy, support and time to mourn, rather than having their disagreement turned into online content.

“Have we lost our sense of humanity? What happened to compassion?

Must everything become content? Must every family disagreement become public entertainment?

Whatever disagreements exist, can we allow this family some dignity and privacy to navigate their grief?

Not every situation needs a microphone. Not every conflict needs an audience. And not every tragedy should become an opportunity for engagement. Sometimes, the most humane thing you can do is put the camera down,” she said.

Aigbe urged bloggers and others covering the dispute to consider the emotional toll their actions could have on the widow, the children and other members of the family during this difficult period.

“Album no blow, wedding too no blow” – VeryDarkMan takes fresh swipe at Zlatan amid alleged diss track

Social media activist VeryDarkMan (VDM) has taken a fresh swipe at rapper Zlatan Ibile, mocking his album rollout and wedding publicity amid speculation that the rapper took a jab at him in a new song with Peruzzi and Shoday.

Taking to his social media page, VDM expressed his wish for the song to top Apple Music’s chart for a month, saying he would be disappointed if it failed to achieve that feat.

He also claimed Zlatan organised an elaborate wedding to promote his album, but argued that neither the album nor the ceremony generated the attention he expected.

“Wetin go pain me be say if this your song no do number 1 for Apple Music for one month. Person wey do a whole wedding because he won promote him album, album no blow, wedding no blow,” VDM stated.

He further questioned the engagement generated by blogs that covered the wedding, claiming none of their posts attracted up to 5,000 comments.

“All the blogs that posted the wedding, no one entered 5k comments. All the PR, Vincent everywhere. If that song no stay No. 1 for one month, e go pain me,” he added.

VDM’s comments come amid speculation that a lyric in “INFERNO,” featuring Zlatan, Peruzzi and Shoday, was aimed at him.

In the song, Zlatan raps, “I no be Vincent, I no fit masturbate,” prompting listeners to link the reference to VDM, whose first name is Vincent.

However, Zlatan has not publicly confirmed that the lyric was directed at the activist, leaving the interpretation open to speculation.

Nigerian streamer and comedian Carter Efe has lamented over the cost of dating his new American girlfriend, Taylor Jasmine, stating that he could go broke if things continued for three months.

Speaking during a livestream, Carter Efe was spotted at the airport with Jasmine as he prepared to see her off. He was seen carrying her bag while expressing frustration over the demands of their relationship.

Comparing American women with Nigerian women, the entertainer claimed that American women had expensive tastes, revealing that he could no longer keep up with the spending.

“American girls are wiser than Nigerian girls, their taste is high. If I continue like this for three months, I go broke oo, na why I follow am come airport make she dey go,” he stated.

Carter Efe also complained about how often he had been carrying bags, joking that people would be surprised to see him carrying a woman’s bag.
