Top Nigerian comedian, Bovi has reacted to a throwback photo of his colleagues, Basketmouth and AY who are at loggerheads.
Bright Okpocha popularly known as Basketmouth and Ayo Makun aka AY, have been beefing each other for 17 years, over an incident that happened in 2006.
In a recent interview, AY said Basketmouth didn’t put his name on his wedding guest list. He claimed that when he got to Basketmouth’s wedding venue, he realized his wife, Mabel Makun’s name was on the guest list but his name was not on the list so he and his wife went home.
Basketmouth, however, refuted AY’s claim, saying he didn’t invite AY nor his wife to the wedding. He said that a lot of his friends had warned him about AY, calling him a snake who would only shed his skin to become a bigger snake.
Basket added that they have never been friends, as there has never been a day he called on AY to hang out. To buttress his point, Basket said that there is no photo of both of them together.
However, an old picture of both comedians surfaced online yesterday, and Nigerians have been talking about it.
Reacting to the photo, Bovi said it was taken in 2004 and insinuated that Basketmouth was the celebrity who took a photo with a ‘fan,’ AY.

BBNaija Season 7 winner, Phyna has apologised to her colleague, after the latter unfollowed her on Instagram.
The reality stars got closer after the show ended and have been filmed together on multiple occasions.
It all started after Phyna addressed trolls on Twitter following a recent interview she had.
Phyna during the interview, claimed she never dated her love interest in the BBN house, Groovy, and that it was all a game.
Many fans of the show dragged her claiming she was lying while others compared her to Bella who is still in a relationship with her love interest in the BBN house, Sheggz.
Phyna then took to Twitter to blast the trolls, while stating that she’s a one man squad and doesn’t need a man “to do her.”
Apparently Bella felt Phyna was trolling her with the tweet and unfollowed her.
This troubled Phyna, apparently, so she took to Twitter to apologise to Bella.
