Burna Boy Rejects Cauliflower Cheese, Requests For Garri And Egusi (Video)

Grammy-winning Nigerian singer, Burna Boy during an interview rejected a foreign delicacy as he requested for garri and egusi soup.

The singer was asked to choose his favourite dish from a selection of Nigerian and British dishes during a recent food testing interview with LADbible.

Jollof rice and cauliflower cheese were served to Burna Boy in the initial round of meals. One of the interview’s biggest highlights was Burna’s decisive rejection of cauliflower cheese.

He declined the cauliflower cheese, noting that it tasted awful in his mind but not touching it or tasting it.

Pot noodles and eba with egusi Soup was the second round of dishes that were served. The famous Afrobeat musician tasted the Pot Noodles and observed that he would need to use a special sauce to make it work with the Jollof Rice.

During the interview, he disclosed that his favourite food is jollof. Then, rather than merely tasting the Egusi soup, he opened the eba nylon and started eating it.

He said the payment was made on November 18 with the expectation that the promotion would be executed on the same day.

“This is a scam. You all should stop doing this to upcoming artists. It’s not easy for us… Bobrisky, kindly refund me before I take legal action… Thank you.
Bobrisky ignored my message for two weeks after full payment.
And the deal was that she will deliver the same day of payment. Please Nigerians help me.”

I Didn’t Fake My Death – Rapper, Oladips Speaks

Oladipupo Oladimeji, the popular Nigerian rapper, who is also known as Oladips, has spoken up.

He clarified that he did not fake his death contrary to viral reports that he pulled a death hoax to promote his new album, ‘Superhero Adugbo.’

His management had announced in a statement released via his Instagram page on November 15, 2023, that the rapper died on Tuesday, November 14, 2023.

However, some of his associates, including rapper Qdot revealed on social media that Oladips was very much alive.

Oladips also came forward with video evidence to prove that he was alive and well, which fuelled rumours that he faked his death to promote his new project.

Reacting to the rumours via his Instagram story recently, the rapper blamed Qdot for the allegations that he faked his death, saying he rushed to announce on social media that he was alive “at a time my family was unsure of my situation.”

He lamented that Qdot made it look as if they had a conversation when they had not spoken this year.

Oladips wrote, “I know there is cruise. There is clout. And then there is truth!

“Qdot, the reason why you posted ‘My gee is alive’ at a time my family was unsure of my situation is so appalling and uncalled for. I dey where I dey struggle with my life, you dey post ‘My gee is alive.’ Unnecessarily misleading everyone. Made it look like me and you just had a conversation.

“Bro, I went through it and anything could have happened. The last me and you had any conversation was January 2, 2022. I get proof and I will soon tell the story in full! Cos why una dey always do like this for this industry tori olorun?”

We No Longer Have Sit-at-Home in Enugu And South-East – Governor Mbah Says After Visiting Tinubu (Photo)

Governor Peter Mbah has told President Bola Tinubu that there is no more sit-at-home order declared by the proscribed members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) in the South-East region of the country.
Mbah said this after visiting President Bola Tinubu at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, the nation’s capital. He also commended the financial reforms implemented by President Bola Tinubu’s administration resulting in the easy flow of capital in and out of the country, saying it is rubbing off on the state.
The Enugu state Governor said;

“We no longer have a sit-at-home in Enugu State, and I dare say in the South-East. We have workers go to work on Monday and the schools are open on Monday. Business and economic activities are back. So, what we are dealing with now is to erase that sad memory from our history.

“It is essentially to commend the president because a lot of things that he is doing at the national level are also rubbing off well on us at the state level – policies like the unification of the foreign exchange rate. What that simply means is that you are going to have a lot of FDI coming in, and we are also going to benefit from that.

“As you may have also noticed, we are doing a lot, trying to attract investors to Enugu State. And the fact that we now have the ease of investors bringing in their money and also being able to repatriate it as a result of the unification of the foreign exchange rates would largely rub off positively on Enugu State.”

Neymar And Girlfriend Bruna Biancardi Split One Month After Welcoming Their Child

Footballer, Neymar and his longtime girlfriend Bruna Biancardi have split.
The duo called off their relationship just a few weeks after their baby daughter was born.
Biancardi announced the news in a social media post early Wednesday morning, Nov. 28.
“This is a private matter,” She said. “But, as I am exposed to news, assumptions and jokes on a daily basis, I inform you that I am not in a relationship.
“We are Mavie’s parents, and that is the reason for our bond. I hope that this way they will stop relating to the frequent news. Thank you.”
The split comes just days after Neymar was accused of sending X-rated messages to a Brazilian OnlyFans model. The soccer superstar, however, denied wrongdoing in the case, saying on his social media page the leaked DMs were from “years ago.”
The messages were not the first time Neymar had allegedly been unfaithful toward Bruna. Earlier this year, he was spotted on camera in a nightclub getting close to two women.
Despite the allegations, Neymar and Bruna had seemed to be going strong, with the two sharing loving pictures together often over the last few months

CBN Redeploys Top Officials

Olayemi Cardoso, Governor of Nigeria’s Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has carried out internal redeployment of top officials of the bank.
This is according to The Guardian.
The reeport revealed that Cardoso carried out a broad staff audit to redeploy personnel not considered suitable for their role in line with the bank’s new direction.
It was gathered that eight directors were moved to the Financial Sector Surveillance (FSS) Department in the Maitama office.
While the motives behind the redeployments are unknown, there are palpable fears that more people could be affected by the redeployment.
The identities of those sent to the Maitama office are not known except for Philip Yusuf Yila, who served as the Director of the Development Finance Department (DFD) of the CBN under Godwin Emefiele.
Yila superintended the DFD that played a crucial role in supporting businesses through increased access to finance for priority sectors under a variety of programmes such as the Anchor Borrowers’ Programme (ABP), the Agri-Business/Small and Medium Enterprises Investment Scheme (AGSMEIS) and the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Fund (MSMEDF).
He also handled disbursement to households and small businesses during the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic to cushion the impact of the consequent lockdown.
The Director of Corporate Communications, Dr Isa Abdulmumin, has also been redeployed while Sidi Ali Hakama takes over in an acting capacity.
This comes as there are also indications that the CBN may have been pushing for the review of the CBN Act as well as the Banks and Other Financial Institutions Act (BOFIA) to strip it of prudential regulations.
