Davido’s elder sister, Sharon Adeleke Ademefun, has sparked online conversation after revealing how strong and “shocking” the genetic resemblance runs in the Adeleke family.
Family resemblance sparks conversation
In a recent video, Sharon spoke about how most of the family members look and even act alike, calling it both fascinating and funny.
She said Hailey looks exactly like her own daughter, while Davido’s twin girls resemble her in many ways.
According to Sharon, Davido’s son, Ifeanyi, before his passing, looked like their eldest brother, Adewale Adeleke. She said it feels like seeing the same faces repeatedly in different generations.
Beyond physical resemblance, Sharon also revealed that the similarities extend to their personalities.
She explained that members of the Adeleke family tend to share similar character traits, often behaving in strikingly identical ways.
She added that some of them are like “personality twins,” saying it’s not just about looks but how they react, talk, and even handle life. “If you’re in our family, there are many replications of the same person,” she said with laughter.
Her statement gained attention from fans who praised the Adeleke family for maintaining a strong genetic identity that seems to reflect unity and heritage.

Sensational musician, Davido speaks on how he was about to quit music before his hit song, “With You” with his colleague, Omah Lay.
He revealed this while speaking in a recent interview that surfaced on social media.
According to him, he never expected the song to be the most popular in his 5ive Album.
He revealed that before his song with Omah Lay he was thinking of bowing out of the music industry after a career spanning a decade.
Davido expressed gratitude to have had a song that did very well after 14 years in the music industry, noting that some do get such explosive music early on in their career or much later.
The singer partly said…
“We thank God. 13 or 14 years after for me to have this kind of song, people have this kind of song at the beginning of their career or in the middle. Me that was even getting ready to bow out then God gives me this kind of song. He definitely added more life to it…”
It is worth noting that Davido’s “With You” ft. Omah Lay is now the #1 most streamed 2025 Nigerian song on Spotify.
It was also nominated for “Song of the Year” at the 2025 AFRIMA Awards, topping charts like the Official Nigeria Top 100, and becoming a top 5 Afrobeats song on Billboard US.

Music executive Ubi Franklin has weighed in on Nigerian superstars Wizkid, Davido, and Burna Boy, who are popularly referred to as Afrobeats’ “Big 3.”
Speaking in a recent episode of the Afropolitan podcast, Franklin explained that it would be difficult for the trio to collaborate, stressing that their positions as the “Big 3” make them rivals rather than collaborators.
The talent manager noted that there are fierce competitors in every industry, using the rivalry between top Nigerian banks to buttress his point.
He, however, claimed that the beef between the Afrobeats stars isn’t beyond entertainment, emphasing that he has never heard his associate Davido gossip about Wizkid and Burna Boy to his inner circle and he believes it’s mutual.
“It would be difficult for Wizkid, Davido and Burna Boy to come together. I will speak for Davido, I have never heard him for once said something ill about Wizkid or Burna Boy. And I’m sure it’s the same for them. But the environment [industry] they are will make it difficult for them to work together.
“It’s like the rivalry between the top banks in Nigeria. In every industry, there is the big 3,”he stated.
Nigerian Afrobeats sensation, David Adeleke, widely known as Davido, is scheduled to make his debut performance at the Coachella Music and Arts Festival next year.

The ‘With Me’ hitmaker said he will take the stage on April 11 and 18, 2026, bringing his unique Afrobeats sound to the iconic California venue, Empire Polo Club, in Indio, California.
However, Sabrina Carpenter, Justin Bieber, and Karol G are the headliners of the 2026 Coachella.
Also included in the line-up are Young Thug, Major Lazer, Swae Lee, Teddy Swims, Giveon, and Central Cee.
Recall that Nigerian musicians such as Seun Kuti, Burna Boy, Mr Eazi, Tems, Wizkid and CKay have previously performed at Coachella.
