Oluwatosin Ajibade, the Afrobeats star and entrepreneur, widely known as Mr Eazi, has opened up about his political ambitions for the future.
The ‘Skin Tight’ crooner, who recently married Temi Otedola, daughter of billionaire businessman, Femi Otedola, revealed his intention of becoming a president in the near future in a video broadcast via Snapchat.
He disclosed that he has been considering running for the presidency of an African country for a while.
“I have been thinking about it. I think it’s time to share it with you guys. Some of you might be from some country, specifically in Africa, and you are looking for a president; a president who is not looking for money and power but forward-thinking, young, active and can move your country better.
“So, I’m officially putting myself forward for the presidency,” he declared.
Despite being Nigerian by birth, Mr Eazi has a close affinity with Ghana, where he studied and also launched his music career.
He has reportedly stated that Ghana influenced his style of music, which he called Banku music.
In recent years, more Nigerian celebrities have ventured into politics both in elective and appointive positions.
Many others have also revealed their future political ambitions including actress Eniola Badmus, who revealed her intention of becoming a senator in the near future in April 2025.
Former Senator, Ben Bruce, once predicted that singer Davido would one day become the Governor of Osun State.
Nigerian music star and businessman, Oluwatosin Ajibade aka Mr Eazi has narrated how he lost N19m in diesel investment at the age of 19.
According to him, his lack of business experience cost him millions of naira in his teenage years.
Speaking in a recent podcast interview shared on X, the ‘Legalize’ crooner recalled losing about N19 million in a collapsed diesel supply deal when he was 19.
Florence Otedola, the popular Nigerian Disc Jockey and billionaire daughter, who is better known as DJ Cuppy, has given her opinion about marriage.
The Disc Jockey says she sees marriage as the most powerful partnership in life.

DJ Cuppy in a post on X stated that marriage in her opinion might be the most important contract one could sign.

In a post shared on X, DJ Cuppy asked anyone with a contrary opinion to go and “argue with their chat group.”
Temi and Mr Eazi have been blowing the minds of many Nigerians with their wedding photos which they have continued to release in batches.
The couple had their talk of the town, yet private, wedding in Dubai, Monaco and Iceland.

The Iceland wedding was the grand finale of a three-part celebration that began with a private civil ceremony in Monaco and a traditional wedding in Dubai.
The event drew a star-studded guest list, including family friends and business moguls.
Temi looked beautiful in a custom Fendi gown, while Mr Eazi donned Saint Laurent. The celebrations continued with a reception featuring a performance by John Legend, an award-winning singer.
