


Nigerian singer, Stanley Omah Didia, popularly known as Omah Lay, has reacted to his maiden Grammy nomination.
Recall that Omah Lay earned his first-ever Grammy nomination with his collaborative hit with Davido, ‘With You’, which was nominated for the Best African Music Performance category at the 68th annual Grammy Awards.
Reacting via his Instagram page, Omah Lay said he was excited about the nomination, but added that he doesn’t care about awards.
He, however, said he wants Davido to win the award, describing him as his realest friend in a while.
“I’m excited about this Grammy nomination haha but fr fr I don’t give a sh!t about awards. Yeah but I really want it for OBO! he is the realest friend I’ve had in while, he stood by during my hardest times,” Omah Lay wrote.
Davido is yet to win a Grammy despite previously receiving four nominations, including two in the Best African Music Performance category, which he has been consistently nominated in since it was introduced in 2023.
The 2026 Grammy is scheduled for February 1, 2026, at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, with a global broadcast on CBS and streaming on Paramount+.
David Adeleke, the Afrobeat superstar, who is popularly known as Davido, has written a heartfelt message to his wife, Chioma.
The singer is currently on tour in Nigeria.
In site of this, he took to Instagram on Saturday night, November 1, to share the flowers and a handwritten note he sent to the mother of his twin children, reiterating his deep love for her.
“I just want to remind you that I love I love you today, tomorrow, and always. I miss you so much. Your loving husband,” the note reads.

Popular Nigerian singer Davido has advised Tanzanian artiste Juma Jux to take good care of his wife, Priscilla Ojo.
Davido made the remark on Saturday when he linked up with the couple in Abuja.
Recall that singer Juma Jux got married to Priscilla Ojo earlier this year and welcomed their son, Rakeem, in Canada on August 24, 2025.
The couple recently returned to Lagos, Nigeria, with Rakeem and later flew to Abuja to perform at the Medicaid Cancer Foundation event on Saturday, October 25, 2025.
Juma Jux and Priscilla unexpectedly ran into Davido during their visit to the capital.
Davido said, “Happy married life. You are enjoying it. Take care of my sister oh.”
This comes amid Davido’s feud with Priscilla’s mother, actress Iyabo Ojo.
Davido recently unfollowed Iyabo Ojo on Instagram after she accused him of chasing clout with the late singer Mohbad’s case.
Iyabo made this known in a leaked WhatsApp group chat shared by Verydarkman.

Davido recently visited French President Emmanuel Macron at the Élysée Palace, the official residence of the French leader.
Davido was accompanied by his sister Sharon, Cubana Chiefpriest and his manager Asa Asika.

David Adeleke, the Nigerian music star, who is popularly known as Davido, has been named Chairman of the Osun State Sports Trust Fund.
The appointment was announced in a statement issued by the Osun State Government on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, as part of efforts to reposition and revitalise the state’s sports sector.
According to the statement, Davido’s new role is aimed at mobilising resources to drive the development and modernisation of sports facilities across Osun State.
The government emphasised that the move reflects Governor Ademola Adeleke’s commitment to improving sports infrastructure and creating opportunities for youth engagement.
Confirming the appointment, Deputy Governor Kola Adewusi, who also serves as Commissioner for Sports, revealed that the award-winning singer was excited about the role and immediately accepted the offer.
“The ongoing rehabilitation of the Osogbo Township Stadium to meet Olympic standards will be completed in the shortest possible time. We are also finalising plans to establish the Osun State Sports Commission, which will serve as the central body for sports development and policy implementation,”Adewusi said.
The deputy governor further explained that the newly introduced Sports Trust Fund, chaired by Davido, would attract investments and support from sports enthusiasts and philanthropists within and outside the state to ensure sustainable sports financing.
“Davido’s involvement is expected to attract substantial funds that will significantly impact the growth of sports in Osun,” Adewusi added.
Governor Adeleke’s administration reiterated its pledge to make sports a major pillar of youth development and community engagement in the state.
