The singer, Davido’s nanny, and the cook who were taken in police custody might stay there until an autopsy report clears them.
It was revealed on November 2nd that Ifeanyi’s cook and nanny were directly responsible for her welfare but disregarded their responsibilities.

The cook and nanny were the ones who had direct contact with the infant, thus they are at fault until an autopsy is performed. We have suspects who may or may not be released depending on the case as we conduct our investigation.
The family has not yet voiced any opposition to the autopsy, but the hospital will determine how quickly it is completed. However, the next step is to examine the home’s CCTV.
In a recent development, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the state police public relations officer, who confirmed the apprehension of the suspects, chose not to provide any additional information in order to prevent jeopardizing the ongoing investigation.
He said:
“If we need to detain them for longer than necessary, we will obtain a court order so as to ensure that we are not doing over detention or illegal detention.
I can’t give much details about an ongoing investigation, but those two people detained are assisting us in our investigation. Those that were released have little or no bearing to the case but the two people detained are assisting us.
“Eight people were brought in for questioning, six people were allowed to go, the remaining two were the ones that have been placed under arrest and that makes them suspect.”
