Why I Feel Honoured To Experience Prison – Tems

Temilade Openiyi, the Grammy-winning Nigerian singer, who is popularly known as Tems, has described her ordeal in Ugandan prison as a blessing in disguise.

According to the ‘Crazy Things’ crooner, she felt honoured to have experienced prison.

Tems explained that she wouldn’t have known what prisoners were going through if she hadn’t had the experience herself.

She emphasised that her prison experience humbled her.

“Prison was once in a lifetime experience that I actually feel honoured to have had because otherwise, I would never have thought about these people, and to be in their presence was very humbling,” Tems told ES Magazine.

Recall that Tems and Omah Lay were arrested and charged to court and subsequently detained in prison in Uganda for making an appearance at a concert held in the country at Speke Resort, Kampala, on December 12, 2020, despite COVID-19 social distancing regulations.

They were eventually granted bail after two nights in jail.

Saida who opined that the words were for her took to her Instagram page to heavily berate the musician.

According to her, he criticizes the practice of young women but left his wife to follow one.

Why I Stopped Doing Giveaways – Don Jazzy

MAVINS Records boss, Don Jazzy has opened up on why he stopped doing giveaways online.

He explained that the decision was due to criticisms from individuals on social media platform X, who called for an end to the practice.

A fan, Temi, had suggested that the economic hardship in the country might be the reason for Don Jazzy’s halt in giveaways.

However, Don Jazzy clarified that his financial situation remains stable, but he chose to discontinue the giveaways based on the consensus among Nigerians on X that it was the best course of action.

In the past, Don Jazzy was known for generously giving out N200,000 each to 10 individuals, often favoring those in the crypto or tech fields.

Despite his financial stability, he has opted to discontinue this practice, aligning with the perceived wishes of the online community.

The post reads; “When things still good, @DONJAZZY go Don give like 10 people 200k each. If you con talk one thing about his artiste Wey burst his head. Na like 500k. If you con like tech or crypto, forget na 1m.”

Don Jazzy replied:

Stop Misleading Ladies — Portable Hits Saida Boj Over S3x-for-Money Remark

Portable has slammed controversial influencer, Saida Boj.
Portable lashed out at Saida over her recent controversial remarks about s3x and dating.

In a recent interview, Saida said any man who gives her N20 million will be allowed to “explore” any part of her body.

The influencer also described men as “cheap”, adding that she is “always happy” when women divorce their husbands.
Saida’s remarks, however, sparked mixed reactions on social media. While some users heavily criticised the influencer for misleading young women, others defended her.
Joining the fray, Portable, in a video shared via his Instagram page on Monday, warned the influencer, adding that she is becoming a “nuisance on social media”.
The singer also cautioned Saida not to “mislead ladies” with her controversial remarks while using derogatory terms to address her.
“Please help me tell Saida that she is fast becoming a social media nuisance. You people should tell her. This Saida you are seeing is a lover girl. If I should get hold of her, nurse her and lodge her, she would not leave there in six months,” he said.
 
“It is money she would eat. Tell Saida to know what she is doing, she is already talking too much. Do not spoil other girls lives, the words you are saying could ruin the lives of single ladies. Do not spoil the lives of our daughters, even Saida is still a child.
 
“Which life has she enjoyed? Even if we were talking about women’s bodies, is it your now your own we will be talking about. You! A prostitute, wife to a thief.”

Don Jazzy’s Dad Addresses Wizkid’s Mockery of His Son

Collins Enebeli Ajereh, the father of Don Jazzy has reacted to a disrespectful remark made by singer Wizkid against his son.
Recall that Wizkid had in April mocked Don Jazzy, referring to the music producer as an “influencer”.

The singer’s post attracted criticism against him on social media, with some users describing his remarks as “disrespectful”.

The Mavin Records head honcho has remained reticent about the matter; and did not respond to the ‘Ojuelegba’ hitmaker.
Don Jazzy, however, recently appreciated Wizkid for endorsing Ayra Starr’s latest album.
Ajereh was recently featured on HipTV’s Trending hosted by Kim Oprah, the reality TV star.
When asked to speak on the mockery, Don Jazzy’s dad said anyone who made such a comment about his son is entitled to their own opinion.
Ajereh said there is “no love lost”, adding that people should not make a fuss about the matter.
“I do not see why people make anything spectacular out of it,” he said.
“Whoever said what he or she said depends on the circumstance they made such comment and I wouldn’t want that to be an issue of controversy.
 
“There is no love lost and there is no need to see it in a different way other than what it was intended to be or what it is. We just pass it by.”
