A video captures the moment the wristwatch was adorned Chioma’s wrist, as she exudes excitement with cheers from the attendees.

In the now-viral video, it was revealed that the Richard Millie Factory Diamond watch was among the gifts Davido has for Chioma.

“My brother, David said, “I have to give my wife the Richard Mille wristwatch valued at $300,000. This is just one of the gifts,”‘  This was disclosed while the gift was unboxed.

As the wristwatch was adorned on her wrist, Chioma showcased her excitement, while flaunting the luxurious piece.

Nollywood actress Sarah Martins has opened up about her decision to stop attending church services, citing repeated unwanted advances from pastors as the main reason for her withdrawal from organised worship.

Speaking in an interview with The PUNCH, Martins said she was once deeply involved in church activities but came to believe that physical attendance alone does not secure divine favour.

“I am not an atheist. I’m a Christian, and I used to be very active in church, but over time I realised that going to church alone doesn’t make you God’s favourite. It’s what you do behind closed doors that really matters,” she explained.

According to the actress, every congregation she joined eventually left her disillusioned after pastors made inappropriate overtures toward her. The experiences prompted her to shift her focus toward cultivating a personal relationship with God.

Martins said she made a vow to remain faithful to Him by living a life that aligns with her values and beliefs. She now expresses her devotion through private worship and charitable acts, which she credits for bringing her answered prayers.

“Since then, every time I go down on my knees, He answers,” she said, adding that while pastoral misconduct drove her away from church buildings, it strengthened her resolve to practise her faith in her own way.

Sophia Momodu, the first babymama of Afrobeats star Davido, has clapped back at online trolls in a series of fiery Snapchat posts amid the singer’s wedding celebrations.

The drama began when Sophia shared a video on her Snapstory featuring an American man talking about dating a “free-spirited woman,” captioning it “Surviving a free spirit.”

The clip partly read, “Messing with a free-spirited woman is not for the weak. She is free, and she has no problem showing you that she is free. My brother, that woman doesn’t belong to you.”
Following the post, a Snapchat user urged the mother of one to get married and take cues from Wizkid’s babymamas, who “hardly post” online and “respect themselves.”

In a sharp response, Sophia lashed out, wishing the critic and their loved ones would go blind while emphasising being the prize.

She responded, “Sarah, I hope you, your family and everyone you love go blind, cos how are you watching me when you don’t like me? Please, leave women alone. Imagine thinking you can make me feel bad cos my voice/platform is heavy. I am the prize hoe!”.

Another user, while expressing admiration, advised her to watch her tone to avoid unnecessary drama. Sophia dismissed the suggestion, stating:

“Sweetie, I dgaf what a bunch of brokies who are dedicated to misunderstanding me have to say. Those who matter don’t mind. Also, y’all need to understand I’m a bigger bully. God is just working on me. And another thing, don’t ever come on my platform to tell me what I can or can’t talk about. Also, it’s Sophia to you.”

In a follow-up post, Sophia told anyone who dislikes her but still watches her content to “check into a mental institute.” She also revealed that some critics had been flooding her DMs because she hasn’t bleached her skin.

“Are you people even okay? Is it by force to be yellow with weird-looking knuckles?” she wrote.

Tiwa Savage reveals reason for freezing her eggs, advices 30+ women

Nigerian Afrobeats star Tiwa Savage has revealed that she has frozen her eggs as a precautionary step for the future, while urging 30+ women to follow in her steps.

Speaking in a candid interview with media personality Zeze Mills, the 42-year-old singer explained that she decided to ensure she has the option of having more children later in life, even if she is unsure about expanding her family now.

Savage, who welcomed her first child and only in 2015 at the age of 34 with her ex-husband, Teebillz, said she wishes she had taken the step earlier.

She encouraged women in their 30s to consider egg freezing as a way to take control of their fertility.

“Having my first child in my 30s was beautiful because I was more financially and emotionally stable. One advice I will give to women in their 30s is, whether you want to have children or not, freeze your eggs,” she said.

Buttressing her point, she added, “I wish I did it earlier. But I’ve done it now. I don’t know if I want more kids but in case I do, I’ve done that just to have that insurance. Because I don’t know if we are born with a certain amount of egg reserves, you could wake up at 36 and your egg reserve is done. And then that’s when you decide you want to have kids. So, I’m really a big advocate for egg freezing now.”
