I Experienced S3xual Harassment In Nollywood – Mummy Wa

Nigerian skitmaker, Kemi Ikuseedun aka Mummy Wa has opened up that she faced s3xual harassment in the film industry.
She stated this during a chat on the WithChude podcast.
Mummy Wa, also called Kemz Mama, said she received unwanted s3xual advances from filmmakers while trying to establish her career.
The content creator said she rejected the advances because she knew they wouldn’t guarantee her the role she wanted.
“What I said related more behind the scenes, not even as an actor. Behind the scenes, a lot of people are asking for things. They are asking for a whole lot of things. But me I cannot do it,” she said.
“Where do I want to start from? How do I want to even do it? Me that I am already coming from a place where they tell me ‘this thing will not work’. How many people do you want to sleep with?
“To be honest with you, you might actually sleep with somebody in the movie industry and the role they will give you, will not ‘blow! You will still be there.

“Me entering entertainment, I saw a lot of men. But guess what? Even the ones that do not have anything; that are slim, they are still asking for things from them.

“No woman is free. No woman is immune. But me, I cannot do it.”

Bitcoin Price Tops $80,000 For First Time

Bitcoin has reached a new milestone after crossing above $80,000 over the weekend.
This is the first time Bitcoin will reach $80,000.
This followed Donald Trump’s victory in last week’s US election.
Recall that Bitcoin (BTCUSD) recently traded around $79,700, up about 4% over the past 24 hours and still in the neighborhood of record levels.
The expectation that a second Trump administration and a new Congress thought to be friendlier to the industry has lifted both bitcoin and other assets in the sector, with investors lately pouring money into instruments like spot bitcoin exchange-traded funds.
The rise has boosted the estimated market cap of crypto broadly, with the figure recently above $2.7 trillion, according to CoinMarketCap.

Ballon d’Or: ‘I Wouldn’t Have Acted The Same Way’ – Rodri To Vinicius After Snub

Rodri, the Manchester City midfielder, has sent a clear message to Real Madrid’s Vinicius Junior after the Brazilian’s decision to turn down his ticket to last month’s Ballon d’Or’s ceremony in Paris, France.

Rodri claimed that he ‘would not have acted the same way’ Vinicius did.

Vinicius had been considered the strong favourite to win the 2024 Ballon d’Or after playing a key role in Real Madrid winning the Champions League, La Liga and the Spanish Super Cup last season.

But a leak in the build-up to the Ballon d’Or ceremony indicated that Rodri would scoop the award after a brilliant year with both Manchester City and Spain.

Recall that the 28-year-old midfielder won both the Premier League and Euro 2024.

As a result, Vinicius and Real Madrid’s delegation cancelled their trip to Paris in protest of their winger failing to win the award ahead of Rodri.

Speaking to France Football, Rodri said: “When your value is recognised at a very high level, final winner or not, it’s good to come.

“Besides, there is also the collective aspect that’s important. For example, Erling [Haaland] was in a better position than me to win last year. I wanted to come to support him in a special moment.

“So when I made the decision to come it was above all to enjoy this superb evening.”

When specifically asked about Vinicius’ decision to snub the event, Rodri said: “What do you want me to tell you?

“That I would have preferred everyone to be there? Of course, I would have.

“The second, third, fourth, etcetera were all missing… I have to respect everyone’s decision. Even if I would not have acted the same way.”
