Nigerian Doctor Reveals What Happened After He Ended A Relationship Because The Lady Suffered A Medical Condition Which Affects Fertility

A Nigerian medical professional, Dr. Ayilola, has recounted the compelling story of how he ended a relationship with his former girlfriend due to her medical condition.

In a post shared on X, Dr Ayilola mentioned that his ex at the time was battling with PCOS and hormonal imbalance that caused her to see her menstrual flow only once in a year and the cycle lasts for only two days.

He said that as a medical doctor, he knew that her chances of getting pregnant was slim and as someone who wouldn’t want to deal with infertility issues in future, he had a long discussion with her where he disclosed that he was no longer be interested in their relationship.

He stated that years down the line, he discovered this same lady gave birth to three children.

His story has now ignited a debate online.

While some men applauded him for taking a quick decision when it mattered, others accused him of being wicked for leaving the lady just because she battled a medical condition.

His post reads: ‘’I ended a relationship with a woman because she was dealing with severe PCOS and significant hormonal imbalance.

She only had her period once a year, and it would last for just two days. We sought medical help, but the results were very discouraging.

As a medical doctor, I understood that her chances of conceiving were extremely low, less than 5%.

I had to ask myself whether I was prepared for the emotional and mental strain of waiting and hoping if we eventually got married.

I wasn’t ready to face the ongoing stress, moving from one prayer program to another, all in the hope of having a child.

One day, I sat her down and told her I needed to end the relationship. It was difficult and emotional at first, but eventually, we were able to reach a place of understanding.

That wasn’t even the end of the story. Guess what? She now has three children. Life truly has a way of surprising us.”

Hazel Oyeze Onou, the winner of Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) Season 6, who is widely known as WhiteMoney, has dragged his fellow reality stars, Mercy Eke and Maria Chike Benjamin.

He also criticised Mercy Eke‘s cosmetic procedures and lifestyle, questioning her decisions.

He said, “The other one went, they didn’t marry her, they didn’t date her. They used her and dumped her, gave her a Lambo as compensation. Now, she is free and fair, just like the election in Nigeria. Oh! She went to chase a master’s degree in the UK. She came back to Nigeria not feeling okay. Now, she is here, about to beg on TikTok.

“Who does BBL and beg? Who does liposuction and beg? Who does tummy tuck? Yet, cannot tuck in her points.”

He added, “You kissed me first in the club and I came out. I wanted to kiss you back. What did I see? I saw a shadow behind you. What was that shadow? It was a native doctor that said, Don’t kiss her. Your destiny will fail. And I went ahead and disobeyed the native doctor. I kissed you. As I kissed you. And later that night, I did not wake up again. The next morning, they evicted me. Look at you. Do you think that is Goodluck Jonathan? That is bad luck Ebele.”

The Powerful Thing My Weight Loss Journey Taught Me – Nollywood Actress, Eniola Badmus Opens Up

Nollywood actress, Eniola Badmus, has stated that harboring self-hatred or self-doubt because of being overweight is a serious issue.

The movie star made this known in an Instagram post while reminiscing on her weight-loss journey.

Eniola Badmus said people should lose weight from a place of love, not out of shame for what the world is saying about them.

According to the actress, her weight-loss journey has taught her that transformation starts from the mind.

She wrote, “I need you to hear this from me….being “fat” is not the problem. Hating yourself is. Doubting yourself is. Believing you’re not enough is. That’s the real struggle.

“Your size has never canceled your worth. You can be confident, successful, loved, admired, and unstoppable at any size. And if you choose to lose weight, let it be from a place of love….not shame. Let it be because you want to feel healthier, stronger, and happier… not because the world told you to shrink.

“My weight loss journey has taught me one powerful thing: transformation starts in the mind. I didn’t wake up one day different….I made small, consistent decisions. And guess what? You can too. If I can do it, you can absolutely do it.

“But listen carefully….even before the weight changes, you must love the body you’re in right now. Respect it. Thank it. Celebrate it. This body has carried you through so much. Don’t insult it.

“If you’re on a journey, be patient with yourself. If you’re not, still walk boldly. Confidence is not a size,it’s an attitude. And to everyone who has supported and celebrated my journey so far… I see you. I appreciate you. Your love means everything to me. Thank you for growing with me.

“Let’s keep becoming better….not because we hate who we are, but because we love ourselves enough to evolve.”

FCT Polls Holiday Stalls Malami, Son’s Re-Arraignment For Terrorism, Illegal Arms Possession

The work-free day declared by the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, ahead of Saturday’s area council elections has disrupted the Department of State Services’ (DSS) plan to re-arraign former Attorney General of the Federation (AGF), Abubakar Malami, and his son, Abdulaziz, on a five-count charge related to terrorism and illegal firearms possession.

The arraignment, slated for the Federal High Court in Abuja on Friday, February 20, was abruptly put off when it became clear that workers including those of the court would not be at work.

Operatives of the DSS had taken over security at the court as early as 7: 00 am ahead of the arraignment.

However, by 9:00 am when Malami and his son were to be brought before Justice Peter Lifu, information filtered round that the workers would not be on duty.

The development prompted the DSS to shelve bringing the two defendants to the court.

It will be recalled that Malami, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, SAN, and his son were earlier arraigned before a vacation judge on the same charge.

The vacation judge eventually returned the case file to the Chief Judge, Hon Justice John Tsoho for re-assignment to a regular judge.

Although the matter was re-assigned to Justice Obiora Egwuatu for fresh arraignment, the judge declined to proceed with the matter for personal reasons.

Meanwhile, sources confirmed that the former AGF and his son would now be arraigned on Monday, February 23, 2026.

In the charge marked FHC/ABJ/CR/63/2026, Malami is accused of refusing to prosecute suspected terrorism financiers whose case files were handed to him while he served as the AGF and Minister of Justice.

Malami and Abdulaziz are equally accused of warehousing firearms in their residence at Gesse Phase II Area, Birain Kebbi LGA, Kebbi State without lawful authority.
