- Famous skit maker, Sabinus crosses the line with the controversial singer, Speed Darlington following a brief exchange on Instagram.
Speed had taken to his page to share his show performance in an Asian country where he had a sold-out concert.
Sabinus, however, commented on one of Akpi’s stage performance videos to express how the singer would make the week about the show.
He wrote, “This week we go hear am.”
Speed Darlington, in response, took offence while appreciating Sabinus’ support at his event in Owerri. He noted his willingness to overlook the criticism, or else he’d have taken drastic action.
“You are very lucky you supported my show in Owerri, I would have blocked you from my comment section, I give zero fvck,” wrote.
A Nigerian man has sung the praises of comedian, Sabinus over his recent launch of his crypto coin as he likens it to Davido’s coin.
Recall that, Sabinus launched his first digital currency, Sabicoin, making him the second to make such moves in the past month.
His move comes a few weeks after Davido launched his crypto coin which developed some issues barely 24 hours after launching.
Fast forward, a man who invested his money in the crypto coin of Sabinus has taken to his page to disclose that the comedian’s crypto coin has been stable after he invested in the space of 24 hours.
“This Sabinus coin market has been stable so far for over 24hrs now unlike Davido’s token that rugged the community. Kudos to Sabinus for the new narrative, let’s hope this one is better as they’ve started well. $1.5m has been traded in 24 hours since Sabinus launched his meme coin”.
Emmanuel Chukwuemeka, the popular skit comedian and rising artiste in the Nigerian entertainment space, who is well known as Sabinus (The Investor), has explained that he comes from a very poor family and that is what drives his quest for success.
The Ikwerre speaking comedian from Rivers State also explained in this interview that drug is the major factor affecting and derailing the youths today, pointing out that he neither uses drugs nor alcohol. Excerpts
You are in Jos for your colleague’s show, who is also a skit comedian, Funny Gee. How do you feel being in Jos – the ‘Home of Peace and Tourism’?
This is my first time of being in Jos, the Plateau State capital. Since I was born, I have only been hearing the name Jos but I have never been here. I am happy with what I have seen so far. The city is really peaceful and quiet.
Jos is known to be the home of entertainment. What is your take on that?
First of all, Jos has produced so many talents; that is something that cannot be hidden. The likes of Ice Prince, M.I, 2 Face Idibia and so many others came from this axis of Nigeria (Jos). That is why I have great respect for the place. Even at the Funny Gee’s show titled ‘Hit the Ground Running’, I said that a land like Jos which produced such talents is a blessed land.
Oga Sabinus, also known as Emmanuel Chukwuemeka Ejekwu, responded to a viral video of a little girl who some think resembles him.
The young girl was published on Instagram by blogger Tunde Ednut with the message, “Them say this pikin resemble Sabinus, na true?”
When Sabinus saw the post, he entered the comments section to express his opinions.
“Stray bullet😂😂😂”, Sabinus said with laugh emojis.
As usual, internet users expressed their opinions while joking that the young lady is unquestionably Mr. Funny’s daughter.
“Na true ohh see the nose,” one person commented. Are you hiding anything from us, Sabinus? 😂😂😂😂😂😂.”
