Iyabo Ojo Announces End of Online Feud With VeryDarkMan

Actress Iyabo Ojo has vowed not to engage in online fight with controversial social media activist, VeryDarkMan.

She made the announcement on her Instagram page.
According to her, she will henceforth prioritize peace and positivity.
Expressing gratitude to her supporters, including loved ones, colleagues, and fans, she acknowledged their unwavering support which has strengthened her resolve.

 

 

She said: “Queen Mother: Unstoppable, unshakable, undefeatable! I’ll continue to lend my voice when necessary.

 

 

 
“No amount of lies, deceit, manipulation, gaslighting, or trolling even with a trillion trolls – can silence me.

Afolabi-Brown Backs Actress, Iyabo Ojo Over Online Criticism

Morayo Afolabi Brown, the Managing Director of TVC on entertainment, has expressed support for actress Iyabo Ojo.

She sent a message of love and reassurance to Ojo, acknowledging that despite any perceived shortcomings, the actress is a woman with noble intentions.

Her gesture comes at a time when Ojo has been facing public scrutiny and actions misinterpreted by some.

Her post reads: “@iyaboojofespris Girl, I don’t know you. Not sure we’ve ever met. Thought to send you a public note. We all need love and reassurance at times like these.

“Today, woman to woman, I’m sending you some love. All some of us see is a woman with noble intentions whose actions may have been misconstrued.

VDM: Come And Arrest Me Too – Seun Kuti to Iyabo Ojo

Afrobeat singer Seun Kuti has reacted after he was called out by Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo.
Iyabo Ojo had slammed Kuti for being among those enabling controversial self-styled social media activist, VeryDarkMan, to constitute a nuisance online.
Kuti dared the actress to arrest him.
Kuti denied being a “confusionist,” claiming that Ojo was “an oppressor.” According to him, he was only against Ojo arresting VDM and not their social media fight.
Speaking in a video message shared via his Instagram account, Kuti said, “I’m not a confusionist. And there was no time I opposed you fighting VeryDarkMan. I only said you shouldn’t be locking people up.

 

 

 
“If you’re angry I said you shouldn’t use the police to oppress people, please, don’t be angry. Continue to be an oppressor. Use the police to arrest everyone. In fact, come and arrest me too. You guys are the billionaires, the owners of Nigeria, if you get angry, everywhere will explode. So don’t be angry.
 
“I apologise for myself and on behalf of VeryDarkMan. Please, don’t flex your power. [Hisses] Nonsense!”
Recall that VeryDarkMan was recently questioned over allegations of cyberbullying.

Iyabo Ojo Politicised Mohbad’s Death as Movement Against Naira Marley – Seun Kuti

Afrobeat singer, Seun Kuti has made an accusation against Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo.
He claimed Iyabo Ojo politicised the death of Nigerian singer, Mohbad, as a movement against his former record label boss, Naira Marley.

He made the allegations while reacting to Ojo’s claims that he is “confusing” the youth for saying controversial self-styled social media activist, VeryDarkMan is “a necessity.”
Kuti said he doesn’t believe Ojo’s activism was earned at getting justice for the late singer but targeted at Naira Marley.
Speaking in a video message shared via his Instagram account, the Afrobeat singer said: “I have watched your video, Iyabo [Ojo] but throughout the video you’re just talking about what VeryDarkMan did yet you said I was the one you were calling out.
 
“But there is one thing that I hold onto, you said I’m a confusionist confusing the youths. [Yoruba] This life is wicked. I’ve been on your podcast before because I bear you no grudge. I bear you no ill will. I stand personal beef. But when it’s political… It was you guys who politicised the death of Mohbad.
 
“You politicised his death. And I don’t believe you guys politicised his death because you were looking for justice because now what’s the findings? Did you accept the government’s findings? I read somewhere that the government said Mohbad died of substance abuse. If you guys believe the government findings, what are we doing? Justice for what?
 
“I believe personally, it was a movement against Naira Marley at the end of the day. I don’t see anything other than that. You said we are fighting against bullying in the Nigerian society and 70-80 per cent of celebrities are cultists.
 
“These are gangs of bullies. Bullies bullying everybody yet everyone is their friend. The gangs constantly bully people and celebrities are their members.
 
“Everybody is a friend of these members, nobody called them out for associating with gangs even after what happened to Mohbad. What’s happening? Is there any movement against confraternities in Nigeria? Where is the movement for justice for Mohbad now?”

Isaac Fayose, brother of Ayo Fayose, a former Ekiti state governor has called for peace between verydarkman, Iyabo ojo and Paulo.
According to him, they are all respected industry personalities. Fayose however tackled Samklef, asking him to return his laptop he stole from him.
He said:

Nigerian Actresses, Liz Anjorin And Iyabo Ojo Reconcile

Popular Nigerian actresses, Iyabo Ojo and Lizzy Anjorin have settled their rift.

Their social media feud had escalated to the point where Ojo filed a defamatory lawsuit against Lizzy, seeking N500 million in damages.

Lizzy’s absence at the first court hearing in February 2024 led to court notices being pasted at her house.

In a recent development, the judge presiding over the case took on the role of mediator and successfully reconciled the two actresses.

Confirming the reconciliation to the press, Iyabo mentioned that the judge provided motherly advice, urging both women to stop fighting and cursing each other on social media and to embrace peace instead.

A video circulating online shows Iyabo and Lizzy smiling as they left the court together.

Lizzy’s husband approached Iyabo and gave her a peaceful hug, symbolising the newfound harmony.

Iyabo Ojo, the famous Nollywood actress, has named two actors she desires to shoot a love scene with.

Iyabo made the disclosure during an interview on the latest episode of AY Makun’s Celebrity Quickies.

The actress identified veteran actors, Ramsey Nouah and Richard Mofe Damijo, popularly known as RMD as two actors she has crushes on.

She also admitted she has a crush on the duo.

She said; “If I were to do a love scene with an actor in Nigeria, it would be RMD. I used to love him a lot. So love scene, RMD still or Ramsey Nouah.”

I Prefer Alcohol To Tea Or Coffee – Actress, Iyabo Ojo Spills

Iyabo Ojo, the popular Nollywood actress, has opened up, revealing that she prefers alcohol as breakfast to tea or coffee.

According to her, she loves “to drink beer a lot.”

Speaking in the latest episode of Celebrities Quickies posted on comedian AY Makun’s YouTube page, Ojo explained that she has two bars in her house because of her love for alcohol.

She said, “Once I wake up, the first thing I do is drink water. I’m not a fan of coffee or tea. I’m a shekpe [alcohol] lady [laughs].

“I love whiskey, brandy and Azul. And I love beer, Goldberg. I’m a beer person, I love to drink beer a lot. That’s why you can see I’ve two bars.”

Ojo also disclosed that if she could do a s*x scene with an actor, it would be Richard Mofe-Damijo.

If I’m to do a love scene with an actor in Nigeria, it would be RMD. I used to love RMD a lot. So love scene, RMD still or probably, Ramsey Nouah,” she said.

The thespian added that RMD, Ramsey Nouah, and American actor, Denzel Washington were her celebrity crushes growing up.

She revealed that she saw this certain person in the economy section of the flight and she was trying hide to cover her face from her.

DNA Was Not Part of Our Justice For Mohbad – Iyabo Ojo (Video)

Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has revealed that DNA test to determine Liam Light’s father wasn’t in the priority list for fighting for justice for late singer, Mohbad.
She made the statement during a recent live session on social media.
The actress stated that even if the paternity test proves to be a major distraction, it wouldn’t absolve his wife Wunmi Aloba of suspicion regarding whether or not Liam Light is the singer’s biological child.
Iyabo Ojo added that it is better to concentrate effort in identifying the killers of Mohbad as DNA issue is a family matter that should be resolved in private.
She concluded taht Wunmi is the only one who can decide whether or not to agree to the DNA test while waiting for the late singer’s autopsy results.
“DNA was not part of our justice for Mohbad, so it does not really concern us. But his dad came out to say he wants DNA because that was one of the distractions and narratives they brought out and he wants them to do it since they want to do it. Okay, that’s fine! But that’s a family matter, it has got nothing to do with justice for Mohbad,” she said.
