In his caption, he expressed his appreciation to his wife for the thoughtful gift.

Chioma Adeleke, the wife of world-famous superstar, Davido, has shared a heartfelt message on Instagram to celebrate his birthday.

In her post, Chioma expressed her joy, gratitude and affection for her husband, calling him her “bestest friend in the world”.

She also revealed that he still gives her butterflies.

Nigerian music star Davido has moved many to tears with a deeply emotional tribute honoring his late son, Ifeanyi, and his mother, Veronica Adeleke.

While performing at his birthday concert in Atlanta, the singer wore a blazer with his late son’s face on it.

He reaffirmed his love for his son and told him to tell his mother that he is a superstar.

“I love you, son. Tell my mom, Daddy is a superstar down here”, he said as the crowd roared.

The singer’s mother, Vero Adeleke, d!ed in 2003 at age 40.

While giving a speech at the party, Davido noted how he dropped his first song at 17, and now he is 33. He declared this year one of the best, noting that he had got married to the most beautiful woman and they had their babies.

And then, for his birthday after-party, the singer held it at a strip club with his wife and friends.

In a viral clip from the club, Chioma was seen looking bored and unhappy as Davido showered money on the strippers.

The 33-year-old singer was celebrated with a birthday party organized by his wife, Chioma, along with family and friends in Atlanta, US.

No Family Deserves This Pain – Davido Reacts To Kwara Church Attack, Kebbi Girls Abduction

Renowned Nigerian artist Davido has responded to the recent abduction of schoolgirls in Kebbi State and the attack on a church in Kwara State.

Recall that three people were k!lled during a church programme at a branch of the Christ Apostolic Church, CAC, in Kwara State on Tuesday evening, while some members were abducted alongside the pastor.

The tragic attack occurred less than 24 hours after the abduction of 25 secondary schoolgirls in Kebbi State on Monday, November 17, 2025.

Reacting to the frightening attacks in a statement shared on X on Wednesday evening, Davido said: “No family deserves this pain.”

Expressing concern over the security situation in Nigeria, the singer stated: “These acts of violence must never become our norm.

“My heart goes out to the young girls kidnapped in Kebbi and their families. No family deserves this pain.

“As Nigerians, we must stand together in unity and continue working towards a country where every child can grow up in safety and hope.

“Also, I am deeply saddened by the tragic attack on the church in Kwara State. I pray for the families who lost loved ones and everyone affected by this heartbreaking incident. These acts of violence must never become our norm. Everything must be done to bring the girls home safely. I urge anyone with credible information to come forward in whatever safe and responsible way they can, so it can support the ongoing efforts to rescue them.

“May God comfort the grieving families in Kwara, bring peace to our nation, and put every sponsor of violence and disorder to shame.”

Popular Nigerian singer, Ruger has responded to reports of a supposed feud between him and his senior colleague, Davido.

Davido’s fans have repeatedly accused Ruger of beefing him and taking side in his rivalry with Wizkid, after he publicly expressed his admiration for the latter and his fans.

A fan of Davido on X recently claimed that Ruger’s career would be stagnant until he publicly apologises to the DMW boss.

“When you’re ready apologize and beg Davido publicly, your song will enter No 1,” he fan wrote.

Responding, Ruger asked, “And did Davido tell you I did anything wrong to him?”

In another post, Ruger explained that he has no issue with Davido and he believes that he is cool with him, too.

He emphasised that he would never believe that Davido is beefing him until he said it to his face or publicly.

“I love Davido and i know he loves me too. People on his team still repost my sh*t.

“I will never believe this agenda that he doesn’t f*ck with me except he says it to my face or publicly. But if him talk am, everywhere go first blur Sha,” he wrote.

Afrobeats superstar, David Adeleke aka Davido has revealed that he used to skip school to perform in Ibadan.
He made the revelation in a post on his X page while reflecting on his music career.
The singer narrated how, in 2011, he left Babcock University without permission to perform in Ibadan during the Lynxxx and Friends Tour.
“In 2011 I skipped school to perform in Ibadan. Asa, Peju, B Red and Sina picked me up from Babcock and we drove to join the Lynxxx and Friends Tour,” he wrote. “I had no idea it was going to air on Soundcity, and when my pops saw it, I got in so much trouble.”
The multi-award-winning artiste described his recent return to Ibadan 14 years later for his 5ive Alive Tour as a “full-circle moment,” expressing pride in how far he has come.
 
“Fourteen years later, we destroyed the stadium. The 5ive Alive run across Nigeria has been one for the books,” Davido stated.

I Don’t Care About Awards – Omah Lay Reacts To Grammy Nomination

Nigerian singer, Stanley Omah Didia, popularly known as Omah Lay, has reacted to his maiden Grammy nomination.

Recall that Omah Lay earned his first-ever Grammy nomination with his collaborative hit with Davido, ‘With You’, which was nominated for the Best African Music Performance category at the 68th annual Grammy Awards.

Reacting via his Instagram page, Omah Lay said he was excited about the nomination, but added that he doesn’t care about awards.

He, however, said he wants Davido to win the award, describing him as his realest friend in a while.

“I’m excited about this Grammy nomination haha but fr fr I don’t give a sh!t about awards. Yeah but I really want it for OBO! he is the realest friend I’ve had in while, he stood by during my hardest times,”
Omah Lay wrote.

Davido is yet to win a Grammy despite previously receiving four nominations, including two in the Best African Music Performance category, which he has been consistently nominated in since it was introduced in 2023.

The 2026 Grammy is scheduled for February 1, 2026, at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, with a global broadcast on CBS and streaming on Paramount+.
