“Wizkid, Davido are like husband and wife; don’t interfere” – CDQ

Nigerian rapper, CDQ has jumped into the mix of the never-ending clash between music heavyweights Davido and Wizkid following their London club drama.

It would be recalled that the two Afrobeats stars had an awkward run-in at a London club, where they straight-up snubbed each other.

Videos circulating online showed Wizkid’s entrance while Davido and his squad were vibing. No handshakes, no words exchanged—just pure “silent treatment” vibes.

Reacting to the drama, CDQ posted on his Instagram story, hilariously comparing the musical duo to a husband and wife who’ll keep fighting “till thy kingdom come.”

He advised fans to stay out of it, saying the two superstars are just having fun with their “beef” while anyone who interferes may suffer the blame.

“Woss. Dem no dey put mouth for Wiz n David fight. Ori e lon ma fi igo gbeyin. Just let them play 2 of dem be like husband n wīfe till thy kingdom come,” he stated.

Wizkid mocks Davido, 30BG crew for recording him at London club

Nigerian music sensation, Wizkid dedicates over an hour of his time to fuel the ongoing drama between himself and Davido following their recent encounter at a London nightclub.

After videos surfaced showing the two stars in the same venue and snubbing one another, social media went into a frenzy.

While no confrontation occurred at the club, Wizkid took to his X (formerly Twitter) page to share his thoughts on the situation, launching into a series of fiery tweets aimed at Davido’s entourage.

In his posts, Wizkid criticized Davido’s crew, calling them “foolish” and “broke.” He suggested that any attempt by them to challenge him would have ended badly for them.

“Broke pussyboys! Una papa for try anything na! Foolish broke boys. We go use una wipe ground! Pussyboys fan boys 4L!” he wrote.

In another tweet, Wizkid mocked Davido’s crew for being overly excited by his presence, responding to a fan who pointed out that all the videos from the encounter seemed to come from Davido’s side.

Wizkid replied, “Oloshi una papa never see superstar before. When u see superstar u go record na! When na Toto beggar dem Dey Dey follow everyday.”

In another post, he quoted a 30BG fan, stating, “When u see superstar u go record na! When na Toto beggar dem Dey Dey follow everyday 😂🤣❤️🦅.”

Wizkid And Davido Snub Each Other Inside London Nightclub (Video)

Davido and Wizkid, the world-famous Nigerian Afrobeat superstars, snubbed each other when they met in the same nightclub in London, UK.

Videos of the two artistes were shared by the host of Afrobeat Podcast, Adesope Olajide, on X.

Olajide captioned it: “Davido and Wizkid currently partying in the same club in London …..”

The clips were posted around 12.37am on Saturday morning.

It is understood both Davido and Wizkid snubbed each other inside the club.

Davido was already inside the nightclub relaxing when Wizkid walked in with his crew, but they didn’t exchange pleasantries.

In fact, the ‘Ojuelegba’ crooner reportedly left almost immediately, while Davido continued having fun.

Everybody Dey Find Big Wiz – Wizkid Brags After Snubbing Davido At London Club

Ayodeji Balogun, the Grammy-winning Nigerian singer, who is also known as Wizkid, has posted about his star power after an incident that happened between him and his colleague, Davido, at a club in London.

Recall that Wizkid sauntered past Davido’s table while clubbing at the same facility with the DMW boss amid their beef, on Friday night.

Davido was partying with members of his 30 Billion Gang, while Wizkid reportedly showed up to support his official disc jokey, DJ Tunez who was playing at the club.

Following the snub, Wizkid went online to brag, insinuating that Davido was the one looking for his validation.

On his X handle on Saturday morning, Wizkid wrote, “Everybody Dey find Big Wizzy.”

This isn’t the first time Davido and Wizkid have been spotted clubbing together. Last year, the singers partied together and hugged at a Lagos club.

However, Wizkid claimed during one of his recent social media rants that it was Davido who initiated the reunion.

He claimed that Davido runs after him “like a fanboy” anywhere he goes.

The celebrity bar man celebrated Dr. Deji Adeleke after it was revealed that his power plant generates 15% of Nigeria’s electricity.
Taking to his Instagram page, he wrote:

Lady Pens Lengthy, Touching Apology to Davido After Getting Blocked

A lady has tendered an apology to singer Davido after attacking him and his fans.
X user, @Ashabul_Jannaah had slammed the actor, labeling his music as trash. She also called the singer’s fans delusional.
She wrote:
“Don’t mind Davido, His music is painfully wack and his delusional fanbase only proves how blind they are. You’ve outgrown him in every way! No wonder he’s constantly trying to keep up with the REAL king!”
However, after Davido came across her comment, he blocked her on X.
Feeling remorseful for her words, she took to X page pen several threads-long apology, begging the singer to unblock her.
She wrote:

My Hero – Davido Praises Father As He Builds A New Power Plant in Nigeria

Nigerian singer, Davido has taken to social media to praise his father.
The star applauded his father, Adedeji Adeleke as he’s set to build a new power plant in Nigeria.
This comes after the billionaire businessman had while speaking at the Seventh Day Adventist General Conference Annual Council, revealed that he generates about 15% of the electricity needed for Nigeria.
He further revealed that he is building his new power plant, which will be the biggest in Nigeria. He stated that he is closely working with some Chinese Engineering companies and the power plant would be completed in January.
Taking to his Instagram page, Davido hailed his father and wrote:
“My hero, my father Dr.Adedeji Adeleke speaks on The Sabbath at a SDA General Conference Annual Council 2024 – October 15th”.

I Don’t Believe Wizkid And Davido’s Beef Is Real – Ladipoe

Nigerian rapper, Oladipoe has stated that he doesn’t believe that the beef between Wizkid and Davido is real.
He stated this during an interviw with with City 105.1FM.
According to him, they could be using the beef as a strategy to promote something.
The rapper stated that he has seen it before and stated that it could be same thing playing out again.
In Ladipoe’s words:
“Honest truth, honestly, I have no idea. And why I say so is because this is not the first time that there has been something like this between these two juggernaut artistes y’know. So, who is to say? And I’m not personally close to either of them to be able to look behind the veil. I’ve been somebody that has gotten to admire them from afar. I’ve definitely shaken Wizkid’s hand a couple of times. I’ve shaken David’s hand a couple of times. And in both ways, I respect them.
 
You know what I feel? I fall in the fanbase that feels that they are just too savvy and business minded to not one day say “pull up, Davido and Wizkid concert or Wizkid and Davido concert”. I just feel like una dey whine me. That’s my own personal feeling: una dey whine me. They are too big to not see the business opportunity in front of them. So, that’s my take. But whether it’s real or not, who is to say?
Beef for promoting stuff is an old tactic. It’s effective. I don’t love it personally, but it’s tried and tested, and it works. It’s not my preferred strategy, but it works.”

Davido And Amaju Pinnick End Rift

Afrobeats singer, Davido and the former president of the Nigeria Football Federation, Amaju Pinnick, hae ended their rift.

The two had clashed in 2023 after Davido failed to perform at the Warri Again comedy and music show, despite Pinnick’s promotional efforts featuring Davido’s image.

The dispute, which escalated on social media, and then ended in court, has now been resolved out of court.

Davido took center stage on Saturday to perform at the highly publicized 2024 edition of Warri Again.

The event featured performances by notable comedians and musicians, including De Stalker, Oritsefemi, Odumodublvck, Fave, Shallipopi, and Phyno.
