Controversial influencer, Daniel Regha has stated that Grammy-winning Nigerian singer, Burna Boy does not deserve to be ranked among the big three artists in the country.
In a recent tweet, Daniel Regha argued that Burna Boy doesn’t deserve a spot among the top three artists in the Nigerian music industry, citing unmet expectations.
According to Daniel Regha, Davido, Olamide, and Wizkid are the top three artists in the Nigerian music industry, with Kizz Daniel ranking fourth while Burna Boy stands in fifth place.
His tweet reads: “Burna doesn’t rank amongst the Big 3, these spots go to Olamide, Davido, & Wizkid; At the moment Burna takes the 4th or 5th spot depending on the criteria used, cos another artiste that can easily take the 4th spot is Kizz Daniel”.
Meanwhile, Daniel Regha’s tweet has sparked mixed reactions, with social media users sharing their thoughts.
See some reactions below:
Sophia stated, “Don’t disrespect Burna Boy. Wizkid should be replaced since he has lost relevance”.
Charly wrote; “Since you are talking about criteria, what criteria did you use in making the list that Burna didn’t have? What edge did Olamide and Davido have over Burna?”.
Salim Dakingari stated, “Burna’s recent success is undeniable, but longevity and consistency place others ahead”.
Cumy wrote, “Lol, not poor man ranking millionaires! 😂😂😂 Is that not crazy?”
Daniel Regha, the popular social media critic, has called out famous Nigerian disc jockey and producer, Florence Ifeoluwa Otedola, popularly known as DJ Cuppy.
Regha asked DJ Cuppy to account for billions of naira donated to her foundation.
The social media critic questioned DJ Cuppy in reaction to a photo she shared on Twitter.
Sharing the picture of herself in a new dress, Cuppy tweeted: “You didn’t sneeze but I blessed your timeline.”

In response, Daniel Regha took to the comments section to query Cuppy for her alleged inability to account for the billions of Naira donated to her foundation in 2019.
“Cuppy, you are yet to account for the billions donated to the Cuppy Foundation since 2019. Also, keep in mind that the pledge you made to assist students hasn’t been fulfilled.
“People might have overlooked it, but the public hasn’t forgotten. Do the needful. Nice outfit by the way,” he wrote.

Controversial Twitter adviser, Daniel Regha, has stated that Tems gets relevance as a performer only when she performs ‘Essence’ which she was featured on by Wizkid.
He also asserted that Tems played a significant role in reviving Wizkid’s dwindling career.
Regha commended Tems’ impressive stage presence and performance whenever she joins Wizkid in performing their hit collaboration, “Essence.”
According to him, her command of the stage during these performances contributed greatly to Wizkid’s resurgence in the music industry.
He expressed the belief that Tems’ collaborations, particularly with Wizkid on his “Made in Lagos” (MIL) album, had helped propel her to the spotlight.
However, Regha also noted that outside of these collaborations, Tems had yet to achieve a major hit of her own.
He Wrote;
“Tems only gets attention as a performer when she sings Essence. She’s a promising upcomer, & is also the main reason why Wizkid was able to revive his music career with the MIL album; But asides collabs, she literally has no hit song of her own. Hope she steps it up. No offense.”
Daniel Regha, the controversial social media commentator, has made another controversial claim about Burna Boy.
Regha suggested that co-chair of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Bill Gates, has confirmed his stance about musical superstar, Burna Boy being an upcoming artiste.
Last month, Regha in an interview with former BBNaija housemate, Doyinsola David referred to Burna Boy as an upcoming artiste, in comparison to Davido, Olamide and Wizkid.
Recently, Bill Gates, during a forum with students and young innovators from Nigeria and across Africa, shared he was ‘forced’ to look up two Afrobeats stars, Burna Boy and Rema following his daughter’s excitement about them.
He acknowledged Davido and Wizkid, stating ‘the last time he was in Nigeria, he did get to see them perform and was quite impressed with their performance’.
This prompted Regha’s remark where he reinforced his stance about Burna Boy being a new cat just like Davido had also mentioned during a recent interview.
O.B.O claimed he championed the spread of Afrobeats globally along with Wizkid and expressed joy at seeing the likes of Burna Boy, Rema, Asake, Fireboy DML, Mayorkun and others who he dubbed as ‘new cats’ ‘coming in and killing it’.
Following Gates comments on the Afrobeats superstars, Regha chided individuals who criticised Davido, Timaya and him for calling Burna an upcomer in the Nigerian music scene.
“When I said that Burna is still an upcomer despite his popularity, people called me crazy. Davido & Timaya were also insulted for implying the same; But all of a sudden Burna’s upcomer status has become facts cos of Bill Gates? Lolz. Y’all should keep deceiving yourselves,” he tweeted.
