Superstar Afrobeats artiste, Davido has disclosed that he was disappointed in himself following his rift with his wife, Chioma.

The ‘Unavailable’ crooner said he could have done better because his wife is an amazing person.

Davido disclosed this in a recent episode of ABTalks podcast.

He, however, said he has long reconciled with Chioma.

The podcast host, Anas Bukhash asked: “When was David most disappointed in David?”

Davido responded: “Probably, when me and my wife [Chioma] first had like a little rift. I thought I could have done better because she is an amazing person.

“I think that was the only time I messed up. But I have fixed it [laughs].”

David Adeleke, the world-famous Nigerian singer, who is popularly known as Davido has reaffirmed his undying love for his wife, Chioma Rowland, on her birthday.

Chioma turned 28 years old today, April 30, 2023.

In an early birthday message shared via his Instagram page on Sunday, Davido promised to love Chioma forever.

The ‘Assurance’ crooner described Chioma as his “right hand” and “go to”.

He wrote, “Today I just want to celebrate my right hand! My go to! Happy birthday baby @thechefchi! God bless you. Your love is timeless. It’s a forever thing I ASSURE YOU!”

DAILY POST recalls that Davido, a few months ago, disclosed that he married Chioma shortly after their son, Ifeanyi downed in a swimming pool accident at his Banana Island mansion last November.

Superstar Nigerian singer, Davido, has replied a curious follower who asked about the whereabouts of his wife, Chioma.

The curious fan identified as Adjoa_the_promoter on Instagram asked the singer to reveal where his wife has been all along.

“Where is Chioma?“, the fan questioned Davido.

Davido, in his response, politely informed the fan that his woman has been chilling in her husband’s house.

“In her husband’s house“, the singer replied.

This is coming shortly after it was alleged that Chioma moved out of the singer’s house following alleged news that he got one of his baby mamas pregnant.

Superstar Nigerian singer, Davido has spoken up about the tragic passing of his 3-year-old son, Ifeanyi Adeleke.

In an interview with CNN, the singer who recently released a new album, says grieving the loss of his son had some impact on the project.

“Before my son passed, we had finished the album. But it was a tragic situation and I really had to calm myself down and take a step back,” he explained.

The 30-year-old singer also credits his return to the music scene to the overwhelming amount of support he received from his family, friends and fans.

“Nobody would want that,” Davido said, referring to the death of his son. “And everybody knows that I and Chioma didn’t deserve that.”

 “At some point I couldn’t open my Instagram for weeks. One day, I just checked it and I saw messages from every kind of person in the world. I was like ‘you’re fine, you see everybody is rooting for you.’ That was one thing that really made me strong enough to stand up again, get back in the studio and do what I love.” he told CNN.
