Teni, a singer, causes controversy by declining to shake President Buhari’s hand during the national awards (Video).

Popular Nigerian musician Teni Apata recently sparked a debate. 

Teni received a variety of responses for not shaking or introducing himself to President Buhari while accepting a national honor. 

447 people received the National Honors Award from President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday at the International Conference Centre in Abuja. 

The overall number of Nigeria’s national honors awardees since 1963 is 5,341 according to the National Honours Award Investiture 2022 Programme, which states that 450 individuals received awards.

Six of the 450 recipients were given the title of Grand Commander of the Order of the Niger (GCON), 55 were given the title of Commander of the Order of the Federal Republic (CFR), 74 were given the title of Member of the Order of the Federal Republic (MFR), and 77 were given the title of Officer of the Order of the Federal Republic (OFR). There are also 65 Commanders of the Order of the Niger, 55 Members of the Order of the Niger, 110 Officers of the Order of the Niger (OON), and four recipients of the First Class Federal Republic Medal (FRM I) and Second Class Federal Republic Medal (FRM II).

Teni was the only honoree who was observed without shaking the President’s hand or extending a greeting at the award presentation.

Never made a huge deal out of celebrating a birthday before. 

There isn’t anything enjoyable to do, and we can’t get our nails or nails done. Nothing unique, just food and cake?

That is simply the norm these days. Food! Sometimes even birthday sex is over limits! 

The reason is that there is no one to bill, and they will still send us a bill on our own birthday, in addition to the fact that it is a depressing reminder that you are aging and yet unfulfilled in some of your aspirations.

Davido, one of the well-known Nigerian musicians to respond to the tattoo, advised “Werey musician” not to send anyone in response to the criticism. 

Davido posted a picture of Portable’s tattooed face on his Instagram account. Portable claimed that he doesn’t give a damn what people think of his face tattoo. Even Davido praised him at the conclusion of the statement.

Tom Cruise is slated to make history as the first actor to shoot a movie in space.

Tom Cruise, a 60-year-old Hollywood legend, will be the first actor to film a movie in space. 

The veteran and director of The Bourne Identity, Doug Liman, are apparently developing a pitch for a film set in space. The Covid-19 epidemic delayed the project, which was initially scheduled for 2020. 

Additionally, it was discovered that they had contacted Universal Filmed Entertainment Group (UFEG) on a plan that would involve the actor boarding a rocket and traveling to the International Space Station. 

Donna Langley, the UFEG Chairman, said: “I think Tom Cruise is taking us to space, he’s taking the world to space.

“That’s the plan. We have a great project in development with Tom … Taking a rocket up to the Space Station and shooting.”

The majority of the film would be filmed on Earth, with the hero “going up to space to rescue the day,” according to Langley, who expressed hope that Cruise would be “the first civilian to perform a space walk outside of the space station.” 

Cruise would be the first movie celebrity to film on the International Space Station if the project is successful.

Although the move is unheard of, it’s fair to say that it’s not strange that Cruise is aiming for space, given that the Jerry Maguire star is known for his daring stunt work.

Kanye West criticizes Mark Zuckerberg for removing him off Instagram.


Kanye Omari West, better known by his stage name Ye, is an American rapper, record producer, and fashion designer. He has criticized American internet billionaire and CEO of Meta, Mark Zuckerberg, for removing him from Instagram. 

Kanye criticized Mark for booting him from Instagram in a tweet that was accompanied by an old photo of the pair performing karaoke. Zuckerberg was once referred to as “his nigga” by Kanye. 

He stated: “Look at this Mark. How you gone kick me off instagram. You used to be my nigga.”

Ye’s account was suspended over the weekend for breaking the terms of service of the social media site with an ostensibly “anti-semitic” post. 

Following his contentious Paris Fashion Week show, when he displayed his White Lives Matter shirts, Ye also proclaimed war on the Jewish people, prompting Ye to be removed from Twitter shortly after the message.

The rapper purportedly appeared to show West saying that Combs was under the control of Jews in a text exchange between himself and Diddy that he published in a post that Twitter later removed. “Jesus is Jewish,” 

I’m a little tired tonight, but when I wake up, I’m going to kill three Jews. 

The American Jewish Committee (AJC), in a statement, instantly called out West’s language for promoting “anti-Semitic tropes like greed and domination.” His anti-Semitic remarks, however, sparked criticism from Jewish celebrities and lawmakers. 

Kanye West needs to learn how to convey his message without utilizing antisemitism. The musician has incited anti-Semitism throughout the past week, according to the committee.

This is not the first time that something similar has happened; Asake’s Terminator single was also leaked before the official release date was declared.
