It Takes More Than Just Money To Be Successful — Billionaire Daughter, Sharon Adeleke Opens Up (Video)

Sharon Adeleke, the Nigerian billionaire daughter, has shared a candid reflection on success, wealth, and self-doubt.

In a recent post, Sharon revealed that she once struggled internally, questioning why success didn’t come easily for her despite having access to opportunities, networks, and funding that many people could only dream of.

She admitted that she often compared herself to others who started businesses with just a few thousand dollars and went on to build million-dollar companies — while she, who started with far more resources, felt stuck.

According to Sharon, a conversation with her therapist helped shift her perspective.

Her therapist reminded her that “you don’t know what you don’t know,” explaining that at the time, she lacked certain lessons, awareness, and life experiences that money alone could not provide.

I Didn’t Get Access To My Child For 3 Months – Carter Efe Shares Details Of Breakup From Babymama

Nigerian streamer Carter Efe has spoken out about a long-standing dispute with his daughter Charis’s mother, even as he celebrates his recent rise to the top of Africa’s Twitch scene.

The 28-year-old content creator, who recently became Africa’s most-followed Twitch streamer with over 500,000 followers after a collaboration with singer Davido, claimed he endured two years of personal and professional setbacks linked to issues with his former partner.

Efe in a series of posts on Instagram alleged that the woman identified as Emmanuella, frustrated his life and career, saying he trended almost daily over beating allegations that were pushed online without proof by activist Very Dark Man.

He said the controversy affected his mental health, disrupted his ability to create content, and left him financially unstable for a long period.

He also stated that he was denied access to his daughter for about three months, a situation he described as deeply painful but not strong enough to stop his grind.

According to him, the struggles pushed him to work harder with the goal of securing a better future for Charis.

Sharing photos from his early days, Efe recalled sleeping in a single room with his team while streaming to just a few viewers and hoping for a breakthrough.

He said they were later chased out of the room, an experience he described as one of the lowest points of his journey.

The streamer mocked what he described as his ex-partner’s renewed interest in his life, claiming she left for months and only resurfaced after his success as Africa’s biggest streamer.

He contrasted this with the period when he was hustling with little support.

Efe said his recent happiness and increased online activity came after he was finally able to move away from the situation.

He credited God for his progress and said he never stopped being intentional about his grind despite feeling abandoned by people close to him.

He added that he has been single for over a year and has noticed major positive changes in his life since then.

Even If It’s $100, Send For Your Son I’ll Manage – Cubana Chief Priest’s Alleged Babymama Begs Him (Video)

Kenyan woman Hellen Ati has once again appealed to Nigerian businessman Cubana Chief Priest to provide financial support for the child she claims he fathered.

The latest plea comes after her repeated demands for assistance with her son’s school fees.

In a video shared on social media, Hellen appeared emotional, with red eyes, as she asked for a small amount of money to help care for the boy.

She insisted that even a modest contribution could make a difference and expressed frustration at the businessman for not taking responsibility.

Hellen also suggested that she might take matters into her own hands if Cubana Chief Priest continues to ignore the child’s needs.

She said: “Even if you dey send me 200 dollars or 100 dollars it’s not that too much for you pascal.

“You dey ignore this baby, Pascal when I go see you..”

The ongoing dispute between the duo over paternity and financial support has played out publicly on social media for months.

Despite her repeated appeals, Cubana Chief Priest has maintained that he has no connection to Hellen Ati or the child.

Helen has consistently alleged that a one-night encounter with Cubana Chief Priest in Nigeria led to her pregnancy, a claim he has repeatedly denied.

While she insists on a DNA test, he maintains that she once rejected his invitation to come to Nigeria for the test and instead asked for financial assistance.

Drama As BBNaija Star, Leo Da Silva Debates Nigerian Police Over ‘One Chance’ Scams

Big Brother Naija star Leo Da Silva and the Nigeria Police have engaged in a public debate over ways to tackle the “one chance” menace and curb the activities of individuals linked to street-level scams and petty crimes in major Nigerian cities.

On Sunday, Leo Da Silva took to X to express frustration with current police deployment strategies, questioning the effectiveness of roadside checkpoints and suggesting that police efforts would be better focused on bus stops, where “one chance” operators are more active.

“Nothing pisses me off than ‘one chance’. It’s like mini kidnapping, mini banditry. Instead of police mounting useless checkpoints to greet us, why not go to bus stops and investigate these one-chance operators and grab all of them??”
he tweeted.

The reality TV star’s comments prompted a response from the Force Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, who emphasized that enforcement strategies must balance action with protecting citizens from harassment.

“I am sure you would come back to complain of police harassment, profiling and unnecessary delays at the bus stops. There are smarter ways.

“Let us start by making moves for 24/7 CCTV coverage of all bus stops. Just in case you’d ask, it isn’t for us to install, but it’ll help us a great deal,” Hundeyin posted, advocating for technological solutions to improve policing while reducing friction with commuters.

Leo Da Silva later clarified that his main concern was ensuring police manpower is prioritised toward directly tackling criminal activity rather than traditional checkpoints.

“I don’t know what your first sentence means, even if that doesn’t affect me, it’s a valid complaint. Instead of deploying unnecessary checkpoints, why not suggest to the force that one chance operators must be caught.”

“Use that manpower to sort that. Abuja and Lagos, especially,” he wrote, highlighting the specific challenges in Nigeria’s capital cities.

The Saying ‘Na Man Dey Do Man’ Is One Of The Biggest BS Narratives- BBNaija Star, Tacha Claims

Popular Nigerian reality TV star Tacha has spoken out against the popular local saying “na man dey do man,” which implies that men are the ones who work against other men.

In a post shared on X, Tacha argued that contrary to public belief, when it comes to business, men fund other men far more than they fund women and that even women often prefer doing business with men over other women.

She went on to state that this and many others prove that men do not ‘’do men’ rather they empower other men.

She opined that this is proven by the number of men who occupy key positions in many industries.

She wrote: ‘’“Na man dey do man” is one of the biggest BS narratives on this app..😹

Nigeria is a deeply patriarchal society.. From politics to business, entertainment, tech, oil & gas, finance, creatives.. almost every sector is 70–90% dominated by men.

That’s not opinion, that’s structure.

Men fund men far more than they fund women, and even women often prefer doing business with men over other women.

So abeg??how did we arrive at this idea that men are somehow the most unsupported group?

If “na man dey do man” were true, industries wouldn’t look the way they do 2DAY.

See lemme tell you, power doesn’t accidentally concentrate.. It flows where systems allow it, and those systems heavily favour men. I’ll use myself as an example: I’ve always said this openly, if I were a man with the same influence, ideas, work ethic and drive, I would be much further in life, not by cheating/shortcuts, just by sheer access.

I’m constantly pitching ideas. Any1 who knows me knows this. If we talk consistently for a week, I’ve probably brought up a business idea already. I’m always thinking about scale, leverage, money, growth. The reactions are usually the same: “Wow, you’re really smart.” “I didn’t know you think like this.” “This idea can actually make money.” They see the value. They understand the upside.

But here’s where things diverge. With men, deals often end in handshakes. With women, deals often come with conditions. Somehow the conversation shifts from business to “let’s go on a date,”

“I’m at Eko hotel for the weekend”

People say “go to the club, that’s where deals are sealed” and yes, that works for men. A guy meets an exec, they drink, vibe, shake hands, deal done. For women, even in those same spaces, even when the idea makes perfect sense, there’s often an unspoken expectation attached. That’s a barrier men simply don’t face.

So when people say men put women on more than men, it’s nonsense. Men put men on. The system puts men on. Women succeed despite the system, not because of it. That’s why I always tell women: work like crazy. Over-prepare. Over-deliver. Don’t rely on goodwill.

Cause in this environment, competence alone is rarely enough you have to prove it again and again. “Na man dey do man” is just pure nonsense.. The reality is simple: power circulates among men, and women pay a much higher price to enter the room.”

Why I’m No Longer Available For Projects That Disrespect My Time – Actress Mummy Wa Opens Up

Kemi Ikuseedun, the Nigerian content creator and Nollywood actress, who is popularly known as Mummy Wa, has announced that she will no longer accept projects that disrespect her time or compromise her values.

Giving reasons for her decision, Mummy Wa, during an interview with Punch, said protecting her peace and personal principles has become a top priority this year.

She said, “I am no longer available for projects that will disrespect my time, disrespect or drain my values, and reduce whatever I do to ‘just content’.

“That phrase, ‘just content’, is something I am no longer comfortable with. I am going to work on myself in different ways.

“My peace is very important to me, so anything that disrespects my time or my values, I am no longer available for it.”

The content creator, while addressing her evolution beyond the popular “Mummy Wa” character, explained that while the persona still has room to grow, she is also deliberately creating space for her personal identity and creative range to flourish.

She noted, “There is still a whole lot to the Mummy Wa character. This year, I want to explore and observe more.

“I am allowing Mummy Wa to age and to observe life.

“At the same time, I am giving room for Kemi Ikuseedun to bloom, grow, and showcase other sides of herself in filmmaking and storytelling.”

Wizkid FC Is The Most Ignorant Fanbase In The World – Seun Kuti Blows Hot (Video)

Grammy-nominated singer Seun Kuti, son of the late Afrobeat pioneer Fela Anikulapo-Kuti, has said it is disrespectful to describe Afrobeats star Wizkid as a modern-day equivalent of his father.

Kuti stated this while warning Wizkid fans, otherwise known as Wizkid FC, to stop comparing the Ojuelegba crooner with the late Afrobeat maestro during a recent Instagram livestream.

He explained that comparing Wizkid or any new generational artist to Fela is an insult to the legacy of the Afrobeat pioneer.

“Wizkid FC keep Fela’s name out of your mouths. You try to claim that your fake artiste is the new Fela. Then when you people saw that the shoes were to big to fill and people like me also did not allow you to get away with those insults… It is actually an insult [to compare Wizkid to Fela].

“You people have no respect. I like it when people don’t have respect as a form of defiance. If your lack of respect came from a place of defiance, I will respect it. But your lack of respect came from a place of ignorance…

“Wizkid fans are online disrespecting Fela again. Why must you always involve Fela in your petty discussions? The overzealousnes of some of fans has significantly affected the music industry negatively. Some artists can’t even collaborate because of fan rivalries.

“I think Wizkid FC is the most ignorant fanbase in the world… You need to stop misbehaving. Concentrate on your artist. Can’t you enjoy their music without comparing it to something else? Do you know why you cannot enjoy your artist’s music without comparing it to something else? It is because the music does not fill your spirit. You can pretend to be enjoying it, but spiritually, you are not satisfied,” he expressed.
