He argued that a man’s money is for both him and his woman and that a woman is only required to ask for it.

Mr Eazi Becomes First Nigerian To Win Latin Grammy, Receives Four Certificates

Superstar singer/songwriter, Oluwatosin Ajibade professionally known by his stage name Mr Eazi, has achieved a major breakthrough as he becomes the first Nigerian musician to win a Latin Grammy after he was nominated in four categories.

The nominations at the 21st edition of the annual Latin Grammy awards are for his contribution to the albums of Bad Bunny and J Balvin.

Mr Eazi was a featured artiste on the song, Arcoíris off ‘Colores’ with J Balvin, which won the ‘Best Urban’ album category and also Oasis on the J Balvin x Bad Bunny’ album in the same category.

The singer’s contributions to both ‘Oasis’ and ‘Colores’ were widely acclaimed for its genre bending sound and innovative approach to Latin music.

The featured tracks, ‘Acoiris‘ and ‘COMO UN BEBÉ’ have garnered over 198 and 54 million streams, respectively, on Spotify and helped to bring a fresh perspective to the projects.

2023 Elections Not Credible — Davido

Superstar Nigerian singer, Davido has said that the 2023 general elections were not credible.

The Dami Duro crooner stated this in a recent interview with Beat 99.9FM, Lagos.

Davido, who went on a 6-month social media break following the death of his son, Ifeanyi, said he would have been very vocal about the elections if he was online.

He said he was happy about the low turnout of voters, adding that the safety of voters matters.

He said, “I’m happy that people were not really coming out. You know if I was online, I would have been really vocal about it [the election]. I have always been vocal about it.

“But, I mean, I was happy about it [the outcome of election]. That’s just being honest.”

“It’s what it is! But I personally don’t feel like that was really a credible election. You know what I’m saying? I feel like the most important thing is the safety of life of everybody. But in all, that wasn’t it. So, I don’t think I will be able to hide that. I can’t hide that,
” the singer added.

Upcoming artiste, Manny Monie has given an insight into the arrest of his former record label boss, Portable.

Recall that the controversial singer had resisted arrest by the police who had stormed his bar, as they revealed that there was a petition against him at their station.

Manny, who had a falling out with his boss in November after Portable assaulted him for allegedly using another distributor, admitted to being the one who had submitted the petition to the police demanding his arrest.

Following his arrest, Manny Monie said that Portable has always been his helper but acted like he was above the law and can’t be controlled.

He added that as a signee at ‘Zee Nation, Portable had done many things to him – although he didn’t spill what these things are.

I’m Unholy But I Don’t Date Married Men – Ashmusy

Popular Nigerian content creator, Ashmusy has stated that she does not date married men because she was raised with good morals.

Ashmusy disclosed in an interview with Vanguard that she gets a lot of married men sending her messages and also toasting her but she doesn’t accept any of their proposals.

According to her, she ignores married men because she does want same to be done to her when she is married.

“I always say no to married men approaching me because I have a conscience and I do not want my husband to do the same to me whenever I decide to build a home. I do not want him going after young girls while I am trying to make our marriage work. It would really hurt me”.

Addressing the topic, of undergoing surgery to get her body, Ashmusy said, “Getting your body done makes you want to show off, but I do not do it for money or men.

Sometimes, I get messages from men when I post certain kinds of videos, but I do not respond to them. I get a lot of messages from married men, but I do not reply to them because I was raised properly in a Christian home. I am not holy, but I was raised with good morals. I do not date married men”.

I Didn’t Know People Who Came To My Bar Were Police Officers – Portable

Controversial singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly called Portable has opened up on why he did not go to the station with police officers after they stormed his bar to arrest him on Tuesday.

Recall that the Zazoo crooner was handed a 72-hour ultimatum by the Ogun State police command to report himself to the nearest police station after he was captured in a viral video resisting arrest by policemen.

Following the expiration of the ultimatum on Friday, the singer was arrested by the police and detained at the State Police headquarters in Eleweran, Abeokuta.

In a new video making the rounds on social media, Portable was seen trying to defend himself at the Police headquarters.

According to him, he didn’t know that the men who stormed his bar in the Sango Ota area to arrest him on Tuesday were police officers.

“I didn’t know the people that came to my bar were police officers,” he said while standing in front of a police chief.

Earlier, the Ogun State Police Public Relations Officer, Abimbola Oyeyemi, who confirmed Portable’s arrest on Friday, said the singer was arrested after failing to honour five invitations.

Embattled Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has boasted that he is smarter than most educated people.

The ‘Zazoo’ crooner, while reflecting on his life, said he has learned more in the streets than in the four walls of a classroom.

Portable made the remarks on his social media handles on Thursday, amidst his rift with the Nigeria Police.

In an Instagram post, the controversial singer wrote, “Zazuu I have learned more in the streets than in any classroom. I’m still smarter than you in the Zoo my future is in God’s hands. Ika of Africa Akoi Grace. Dr Zeh Nation many many inspiration.”

Recall that Portable was handed a 72-hour ultimatum by the Ogun State Police Command to report himself to the nearest police station after he was captured in a viral video resisting arrest by operatives of the force.

However, in a video shared on his Tiktok page, the singer explained that the man who brought the police to arrest him was his ex-worker and was into Internet fraud against his advice.
