Davido Is Being Frustrated For Refusing To Do Demonic Stuff – Cubana Chief Priest Reacts To Singer’s Grammy Loss

Pascal Okechukwu, the Nigerian socialite, who is popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest, has claimed that singer Davido’s repeated losses at the Grammys are a deliberate effort to pressure him into complying with certain white music executives’ demands, which he described as encouraging “demonic” practices.

Davido lost out to South African star Tyla in the Best African Music Performance category at the 2026 Grammy Awards Ceremony on Sunday.

Reacting via an Instagram post, Cubana Chiefpriest urged Davido to keep upholding his values and never compromise for alleged “demonic” Western music industry figures.

He encouraged the singer to quickly move past the setback and keep releasing music and entertaining his fans.

He wrote, “Oyibo dey do everything possible to break a strong man so he can do their demonic sh*t with them but he will never do ot.

“Heads up brother, open the bag and drop another hot one for us. E no dey finish, gbedu na water.”

2026 Grammys: Why I Wanted Davido To Win Best African Music Performance – VeryDarkMan Opens Up (Video)

Vincent Martins Otse, the Nigerian social media influencer, who is popularly known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), has reacted to South African singer Tyla’s win in the Best African Music Performance category at the 2026 Grammy Awards, where she edged out Nigerian stars Ayra Starr, Wizkid, Burna Boy, Omah Lay, and Davido.

Earlier, 626Blaze reported that Tyla won the Best African Music Performance category with her hit song ‘Push 2 Start’ on Sunday night, making it her second win in the category since she won the inaugural award with ‘Water’ in 2024.

However, moments after Tyla was announced, VDM released a video questioning her triumph.

The self-styled critic said he would have preferred Davido to win the award to create “a balance” between the “Afrobeats Big 3” as his colleagues, Burna Boy and Wizkid already won Grammies.

“Tyla again? Anyways, shoutout to Davido, Burna Boy, Ayra starr and Wizkid. You guys put in the efforts.

“However, I will be very honest, I really wanted Davido to win so as to create balance. I like the cruise between the fans of the Afrobeats Big 3 on social media.

“The entries from Nigeria were very good songs but it is what it is,” he said.

Only women have won Best African Music Performance at the Grammys.

I Want To Marry 5 Husbands And Be A Polygamous Woman – BBNaija Star, Phyna Says (Video)

Ijeoma Josephina Otabor, the reality TV star, who is better known as Phyna, has stirred online reactions after a video of her discussing marriage laws went viral.

In the video, Phyna said the only thing she wants is a change in the law to give women the freedom to marry the way men do.

The former Bbnaija winner argued that women should not be restricted to marrying just one man while men are allowed to take more than one wife.

The actress explained that if the law is adjusted, women should be free to marry as many husbands as they choose.

Using an example, Phyna said she would like to marry up to five men if given the chance and treat them equally.

According to her, all the men would wear the same clothes and enjoy the same lifestyle without discrimination.

Phyna also mentioned practices in other countries, such as India, suggesting that Nigeria could adopt a system that allows women to have multiple husbands if they wish.

She described herself as someone ready to become a polygamous woman if such a law existed.

The former reality star added that women should be bold and united in pushing for such changes, saying they should move together and live large.

She said: “See, the only thing I want now is that they should just change the law.

“I go marry like five men, you dey whine? I go buy the same clothes for all of them, the five of them. I’m going to be a polygamous woman.

“Then we go come buy Sprinter. Instead of Sienna, we’ll go buy a Sprinter.”
