BBNaija: Mercy Eke Struggled to Give Content During All-Stars Season – Wanni

Big Brother Naija ‘No Loose Guard’ housemate, Wanni, has made a claim against Season 4 winner, Mercy Eke.
Wanni claimed that Mercy struggled to provide entertaining content to the viewers during the All-Stars edition.


She further claimed that Eke was so desperate to provide content that she forced a relationship with Whitemoney and kissed Pere and Kiddwaya.

Wanni stated this during a conversation with fellow housemates on Monday.
 
“During the All-Stars season, Mercy was struggling to be dramatic. She struggled to the extent that she forced a relationship with Whitemoney and even kissed him. She also kissed Kiddwaya and Pere,” she said.
Wanni also said ‘Level Up’ edition runner-up, Bryann, has fallen off the radar since the end of the show.
Recall that Mercy Eke came second in the All-Stars season behind winner, Ilebaye Odiniya.

Controversial Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola Badmus aka Portable has gifted a white Range Rover car to the King of Oke Osa, Waliu Oduntan.
The singer took to his Instagram page to make the announcement.
In his words:
“On Friday, we want to do Isese and I want to give the King of Oke Osa a Range Rover. Ikateko gave me the car in Ikorodu for me to use and now I want to give the king, Waliu Oduntan using Range Rover. It has been written that Portable gave out the Range Rover to Waliu Oduntan, the King of Oke Osa. The king likes to wear white so I’m also giving him a white car. I was gifted the car and I have now gifted it to someone else, not that I don’t value it but I have used it very well and the car opened up ways for more cars for me.”

Mohbad’s Family Stops Concert For Late Singer

The family of the late Afropop star IleriOluwa Aloba, also known as Mohbad, has requested that Pastor Larry Omodia, the promoter of the ‘Sing for Mohbad’ concert, postpone the event until the substantive application in the case is heard.

In a statement, Mohbad’s father, Mr. Joseph Aloba, explained that Omodia and his agents should not commercialize the death of the Afropop star pending the determination of the originating motion for interlocutory injunction.

According to the family: “In the motion with suit number HCT/871/2024, which was argued by Emmanuel Oroko, Esq., for the applicant, Mr. Joseph Aloba stated that Justice Osunfisan ordered as follows: ‘An‘ order of interim injunction is hereby granted restraining the respondent, whether by himself, servants, agents, assigns, or otherwise however called, from holding any event titled ‘Sing for Mohbad and Win’ organized by the respondent, which is set to be held on the 12th, 13, and 14 of September 2024 at Aqua Lounge or any other place pending the determination of the originating motion for interlocutory injunction dated and filed on the 6th September 2024. The order of interim injunction hereby granted on the 12th day of September 2024 is to last for 7 days following the provision of the Rules of Court.”

Earlier, the public was advised to respect the solemn period and not to commercialize the occasion by using the goodwill of their son.

The matter has been adjourned to October 7, 2024, for the hearing of the originating motion for interlocutory injunction.

BBNaija: It Seems We Can’t Express Ourselves Anymore – Wanni Laments After Receiving Strike From Biggie

Big Brother Naija housemate, Wanni has lamented after she was issued a strike alongside her sister, Handi, Kassia, and Shaun.
Recall that the four housemates were issued a strike after being found guilty of conspiracy.
While speaking to the Mbadiwe Twins, Wanni lamented that Handi and Shaun hadn’t said anything.

She noted that she would have understood and accepted the strike if it had been issued to her and Kassia, but Handi and Shaun didn’t deserve the punishment.
Ozee Mbadiwe informed her that being part of a conspiracy doesn’t necessarily mean that a person must talk, but being there alone makes one guilty.
“If it was me and Kassia, I would understand but what did Handi and Shaun say ? It seems we can’t express ourselves anymore,” she said.

I’m Not Perfect – Portable Begs For Forgiveness After Slapping Pastor

Portable, the controversial Nigerian street-pop star, has begged for forgiveness after he slapped a pastor who came to preach at his bar.

Recall that the singer had a few days ago caught on camera slapping a pastor.

Following the attack, Portable faced backlash from netizens’ and other preachers who threatened to take action against him for assaulting a man of God.

However, addressing the controversy in a video he shared in the midnight on Monday, the singer attributed his actions to past experience.

While begging God for forgiveness, he explained that he attacked the preacher because he thought he was there to cause him spiritual harm.

“My fans, community issues are different from that of the street. May God forgive me. I didn’t know he was a genuine man of God. If I knew I wouldn’t have slapped him.

“I’m also a child of God. I’m human, I’m not perfect. I am an orphan. They have harmed my sister through this same strategy.”
