Controversial crossdresser Bobrisky has thrown his support behind Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing Sunday after she came under fire for a viral gym photo.
Bobrisky, in a post on his Instagram page, described Nkechi as beautiful and urged her not to be discouraged by negative comments from critics.
He said that many people still admire and love her regardless of her appearance.
He further expressed his frustration with the toxic nature of online spaces in Nigeria, pointing out that this was one of the reasons he left the country.
Bobrisky also cautioned those planning to attack him online, stressing that only people with strong financial standing and the ability to sustain a luxurious lifestyle abroad should attempt to challenge him.
He wrote, “Beautiful Nkechi Blessing, you are beautiful! Never let anyone say otherwise to you. Many of us still love you regardless of how you look. Another day, another reason why I left Nigeria… some of them are too toxic and fake.
“Pleas,e before you come for me, make sure your account balance has seven zeros (0000000) and you can live abroad and still afford a luxury lifestyle. Happy Saturday.”
Nollywood actress Sarah Martins has voiced her disapproval of the growing trend of body shaming women and criticizing those who choose to undergo liposuction surgery.
The film star, in a post via Instagram on Sunday, stated that people should stop talking down on those who had undergone surgery.
She explained that if only people knew the amount of work that goes into achieving a good result, they would understand that Liposuction will not fix massive weight.
According to her, Liposuction does not guarantee a banging tdy and it is the reason many people also undergo gastric bypass to achieve good results.
She wrote, “Stop talking down on people who got their body done, sis, if you knew the amount of work they put in just to get a good result, you would understand the fact that Liposuction will not fix your massive weight. Liposuction can fix a belly that has already lost a huge amount of weight, not your whole body!
“Why do you think people have to go through a gastric bypass before undergoing Lipo? Liposuction doesn’t guarantee a banging body. If you must achieve a good result after Liposuction, you MUST lose weight, so I laugh when people assume Liposuction fixes people’s bodies.
“I do not support anyone body shaming people! You did not create them, so you have absolutely NO right to talk down on their body type! If you’re confident in your natural body, rock it with pride. However, if you feel you need surgery to enhance your appearance, do it still!
“It’s your money and your happiness, too, so do what works for you! Even people who are naturally curvy and work so hard to maintain their figure are also being accused of undergoing surgery because nobody seems to believe some women are naturally built that way.
“Note: even after surgery, if you still fail to take the proper measures to maintain your figure by eating healthy, you will still go back to square one.
“STOP BODY SHAMING PEOPLE!!!!!.”
