Anita, the Big Brother Naija ‘No Loose Guard’ housemate, has revealed that she has never dated her agemate before.

According to her, she prefers older men.

In a heart-to-heart conversation with her fellow housemate and her love interest on the show, Topher, Anita said the “lowest” she can go is someone her age.

She said: “I have never been with somebody my age, but because we have this thing going on, and it’s the same age, that’s why I said I would not be with someone younger than my age. The lowest I can go is the same age.”

Topher, 28, has been hiding his real age from Anita, 31, because of her stance on dating younger men.

Billboard Chart: Asake Breaks Burna Boy’s Record

Ahmed Ololade, the world-famous Nigerian singer, who is popularly known as Asake, has surpassed his compatriot, Burna Boy, as the artist with the most songs on the Billboard U.S. Afrobeats Songs chart.

Asake debuted nine songs from his new album ‘Lungu Boy’ on this week’s Billboard U.S. Afrobeats Songs chart, extending his entries to 50.

His song ‘Active’ featuring American rapper Travis Scott is currently at the top of the chat.

The Billboard U.S. Afrobeats Songs chart was launched in April 2022.

Since its launch, it has been dominated by Nigerian artists.

Afrobeats Is No Longer In Safe Hands – Omah Lay Claims

Omah Lay, the world-famous Nigerian singer, has stated that the afrobeats genre is being threatened.

He lamented that the genre was being diluted to appeal to foreign audiences and becoming overly commercial.

Speaking on the Zach Sang Show, Omah Lay stated that the afrobeats genre is no longer in safe hands.

He said the lucrative nature of the genre is making a lot of artists sing for money rather than passion.

“There is too much money in Afrobeats. Afrobeats artists are just trying to grab the money,” he said.

“I believe people are messing Afrobeats up. I also believe it is becoming very commercial. Right now, I don’t believe Afrobeats is in safe hands.”

Recently, the afrobeats genre has been attracting criticism, with foremost Jamaican reggae artist Buju Banton describing it as “f*ckery.”

He claimed in his controversial interview that afrobeats had no substance and would fade with time.

Justin Bieber, the world-famous Canadian singer and his wife, Hailey Bieber, have welcomed their first child together.

The multiple Grammy-winning singer shared the good news via his Instagram account on Friday.

“Welcome home, Jack Blues Bieber,” he wrote in an Instagram post, sparking congratulatory messages from fans and colleagues.

Hailey also posted the same photo on her Instagram Stories soon afterwards with the child’s name and a teddy bear and a blue heart emoji.

The couple first announced they were expecting a child together in May 2024.

Bieber, 30, has been vocal about his desire to have children with Hailey, 27, in social media posts.

The couple got married in a secret ceremony in New York in 2018.

Rhuthee, the evicted Big Brother Naija ‘No Loose Guard’ housemate, has said she regretted some of the comments she made about Wanni and Handi while on the show.

Recall that Rhuthee had an altercation with the twins on Saturday night when she accused them of incest and prostitution.

This led to Wanni and Handi booing her during her eviction from the show on Sunday.

Speaking in a recent interview with Hero Daniels, Rhuthee said she regretted some of the things she said about Wanni and Handi.

She, however, insisted that she hadn’t slut-shamed them.

“I feel bad for certain things I said about Wanni and Handi. When they play the video, I can’t even stand it because I felt like I went overboard with some of the things I said,” she said.

The host, Hero, asked, “Like what?”

Rhuthee replied: “The fact that I said she [Wanni] was sleeping with her sister [Handi] for money. I felt like even if I had this information, it wasn’t the right thing to say to someone.”

Hero further probed: “Do you think you slut-shamed the twins?”

Ruthee’s response was immediate: “To be honest, no.”

He lamented that he had been messaging the YBNL boss on social media for about five years, without Olamide acknowledging him.

Jose Peseiro, a former Super Eagles coach, has rated Atlanta winger, Ademola Lookman as a more technical player than Napoli striker, Victor Osimhen.

Peseiro worked with both players, as he led Nigeria to a second-place finish at the 2023 AFCON in Ivory Coast earlier this year.

He has now weighed in on transfer speculations involving both players.

Lookman and Osimhen have both been linked with Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain over the summer.

“Ademola is more technical than Osimhen, more inclined to create the game, and who is now also scoring. He is performing very well this year,” Peseiro told SportItalia via Football London.

“He grew up with (Atalanta manager) Gian Piero Gasperini; now he is always playing, and we are happy with him. High level, he too can aspire to do great things.
