This comes after witnessing her younger sister, Temi’s beautiful wedding to singer Mr Eazi last month.

Nkechi Blessing Reacts Angrily After Her Gym Photo Was Leaked Online

Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing has reacted after her gym photo was released online.
The photo was secretly snapped by a lady during a gym session and circulated online.
Reacting to the leaked gym photo, Nkechi took to Snapchat page to attack the unidentified lady behind the camera, accusing her of mockery and body shaming.
Nkechi wrote: “So someone cannot go to the gym again in Nigeria without being violated? Many of you will carry your phone and take pictures for what exactly? You wanna mock or body shame the person? Are you not mad?.”
“This is totally wrong not because she is my friend but go get a life. My friend don para, but guess what, they just motivated me to keep going… but make I no see that girl for gym tomorrow sha… dem go comot her for my hand.
“Nkechi trying to stay healthy and fit in the gym is a topic? Lmao with my big belle with pride… Una go dey alright, for real!!!” she wrote.

I Was In a Disrespectful Relationship With One Nigerian Celebrity – Tiwa Savage

Famous Afrobeat songstress, Tiwa Savage has confessed she was once in a relationship with a Nigerian celebrity.
However, she opened up that the relationship was disrespectful.
The singer during her recent interview with Joe Budden’s podcast, said the unnamed celebrity insisted on keeping their romance secret.
While narrating how he flirted with other women in her presence, she described their secret romance as “disrespectful”.
“I am a public figure and he is as well. He said he doesn’t want us to go public, I said cool is ok. And he said when we go out, I might be talking to other people but I’m just doing it so that people don’t suspect.
 
“We might be at the same event, and he will be talking, laughing, and even touching other ladies while still looking at me like, ‘Don’t worry, it’s nothing I am just doing it!’ It was happening right in front of me and I couldn’t say anything. It’s a disrespect”, she said.
Narrating her bitter experience, she refused to mention the name of the celebrity but many netizens assumed is Wizkid.

I Don’t Want to Look Older Than My Age – Nasty C On Why He Quit Alcohol

Famous South African rapper, Nasty C has revealed why he quit drinking.
The singer who suffered with alcohol addiction revealed that he was drinking alcohol everyday and everywhere until he decided to give up the addiction.
Nasty C explained that he quit alcohol because he doesn’t want to look older than his age.
The 28-year-old rapper claimed that South Africans believe that excessive alcohol consumption could make someone look 10 years older than they actually are.
Speaking in a recent interview with British-Nigerian media personality, Madame Joyce, Nasty C said, “I was addicted to alcohol. I was drinking every night. Everytime I go to the studio, restaurant, I drink. Everytime I perform, I drink.
 
“Also, my tolerance when it comes to alcohol was very high, too. When I drink alcohol with friends, I would be the last one to be intoxicated. And I feel it’s a bad thing because you never know when something is going wrong until it’s too late. I got off the vodka a little bit but I was drinking everything else. Whisky, cognac, tequila, rum – I was drinking everything.
 
“I gave up alcohol because I don’t want to get a ‘phuza face.’ There’s a thing in South Africa we call a ‘phuza face’ – when you age really quickly because you drink a lot of alcohol, when you start looking 10 years older than you actually are.”

Petroleum Tanker Somersaults in Ogbomoso, Spills Content (Photo)

A petroleum tanker has somersaulted in Oyo State.
The tanker was conveying forty five thousand litres of Premium Motor Spirit also known as petroleum before the incident which happened at Isale General in Roundabout Area in Ogbomoso, Wednesday afternoon.
The incident, according to sources close to the scene, happened when the tanker somersaulted on an open road and started discharging its contents.
However, no life was lost in the incident.
The Chairman of Oyo State Fire Service, Maroof Akinwande confirmed the incident in a statement and advised drivers to always drive with care.
He also enjoined them to observe all safety rules on the road.
“The fire personnel led by CFM Oladejo Kolawole swiftly responded and deployed to the scene of the fire incident. Upon arrival, it was a trailer tanker loaded with 45, 000 liters capacity of Petroleum Motor Spirit (PMS) somersaulted on an open road.
 
“Our men quickly engaged all necessary equipment by blanketing the area with foam chemical compound to neutralize the flammability of the content and prevent it from catching fire from surrounding.
 
“I therefore urge drivers to always drive with care and observe road safety tips”.

How A Nigerian Cleric Was Arrested With Human Flesh In Oyo

The Oyo State Police Command has apprehended an Islamic cleric, identified as Alfa Bashiru, for allegedly possessing suspected human flesh.

The Command’s Public Relations Officer, CSP Adewale Osifeso, confirmed the arrest in a statement released via the Command’s official X handle on Wednesday.

According to him, officers attached to the Federal Highway Patrol intercepted a white bus with registration number XA 551 IRG at the Toll Gate axis of the Ibadan Expressway around 11:30 a.m., during which the cleric was found with the item.

When questioned, Bashiru allegedly confessed that he purchased the suspected human flesh in Lagos.

Osifeso noted that the case has been handed over to the Homicide Section of the State Criminal Investigation Department, SCID, Iyaganku, for a thorough probe.

“The recovered substance has been sent for forensic analysis to ascertain its authenticity and origin,” the police spokesperson stated.

Democracy Is Dying In Nigeria – Peter Obi Cries Out

Peter Obi, the former Labour Party presidential candidate has cried out that Nigeria’s democracy is failing.
According to him, the country is not practising true democracy, and the citizens are not getting the expected benefits from the government.
Obi noted that Nigeria’s democracy lacks accountability and does not prioritize service to the people.
The former Anambra State Governor added that democracy is dying in Nigeria and has become merely a process for the political elite to gain power and access public resources for personal and family gain.
Speaking in a statement released via his 𝕏 account on Wednesday after participating in an international Conference in Accra, Ghana, organised by the 2025 Goodluck Jonathan Foundation Annual Democracy Dialogue, Peter Obi said, despite the situation, a new Nigeria is still possible.
The former presidential candidate urged Nigerians to vote only for credible individuals.
He wrote, “Today, 17th September, I participated in an international Conference in Accra, Ghana, organised by the 2025 Goodluck Jonathan Foundation Annual Democracy Dialogue with the theme “What Makes Democracy Die?”
 
“Democracy is fundamentally about accountability, prioritising service to the people, ensuring security, providing education and healthcare, and lifting people out of poverty.
 
“Democracy dies when it ceases to be accountable to the people and when it no longer prioritises their needs.
 
“Nigeria is a typical example of where democracy is dying because it no longer serves the needs of the people and is no longer accountable to them.
 
“In Nigeria, democracy has become a process of elite state capture, granting access to public resources for personal and family interests.
 
“To reverse this situation, Nigerians must take democracy and elections seriously by ensuring that only people with competence, capacity, character, compassion, and commitment to service are elected.
 
“A new Nigeria is possible.”

Super Eagles Slip To 45th Position In Latest FIFA Ranking

The Super Eagles of Nigeria have slipped one place in the latest FIFA men’s world rankings released on Thursday.

Previously ranked 44th, the three-time African champions now sit in 45th position in the world.

The Super Eagles also dropped to sixth position in Africa.

The Atlas Lions of Morocco are the highest ranked African team (11th position).

Terangha Lions of Senegal, Pharaohs of Egypt, Desert Foxes of Algeria, and Elephants of Cote d’Ivoire complete the top five African teams on the ranking.

The Super Eagles were in action recently in a 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Rwanda and South Africa.

Eric Chelle’s side defeated the Amavubi 1-0 in Uyo, and held Bafana Bafana to a 1-1 draw in Bloemfontein.

European champions, Spain replace Argentina at the top of the ranking, ending the South American’s two-year reign.

Slovakia are the biggest risers, climbing 10 places.

Woli Agba Thanks God After Surviving Car Fire Incident

Comedian Ayobami Ajewole, popularly known as Woli Agba, has expressed thanks to God for saving him from a car accident involving fire.
He took to his Instagram page on Wednesday to thank God.
The actor explained that the ordeal began on Saturday after he had a burst tyre while driving on the highway.
He said: “So I had an event on Saturday, after escaping the accident from the bursted tyre while on the highway. I fortunately got another car that I took to the venue right on the spot of the accident.
 
“Arriving the venue, I was changing my outfit in the car not knowing the TANK of the CAR that contains fuel up to the half of the tank already caught fire.
 
“This is my testimony, I can’t explain how and where the fuel passed that the car did not explode while I was inside the car despite the fact that there was physical fire that everyone was trying to put out after I highlighted from the car and they discovered.
 
“When there was no more options… they decided to push the car out of the event centre so the burning won’t affect other cars. While they abandoned the car expecting it to explode, another man no one could describe came with an industrial fire extinguisher, quenched the fire all by himself and left.”
 
“When God decides to save, even rules are suspended… I was sitting inside the fire that could have ended a Season of The Prophet with the oil of Gladness. TO GOD ALONE BE ALL THE GLORY FOREVER!!!”
