Tinubu Will Start Losing Sleep Soon – Dele Momodu Says

A chieftain of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Dele Momodu, has predicted that Bola Tinubu may soon begin to worry as some people around him reveal their true intentions in the coming months.

Momodu, who claimed to be a prophet recounted that former Interior Minister, Rauf Aregbesola abandoned Tinubu for the ADC despite being close allies in the past.

He spoke while featuring on Channels Television’s Sunday Politics.

According to Momodu: “Nobody knows Tinubu better than Rauf Aregbesola, he was governor in Osun State for eight years and commissioner for works in Lagos State, he’s now in ADC.

“Look at the preponderance of senators, members of the House and everybody now trooping in.

“Let me give you a prediction again, you know I’m a prophet, I was born and named Joseph at birth in Ile-Ife, I’m telling you that in the coming weeks and months, Tinubu will begin to lose sleep when he seeks the true colour of human beings, they will show him.

“All those people who are expecting something from him today they are pretending like the rattle snake waiting and hoping that they will get something. When they can no longer get it they will seek their fortune elsewhere.

“Even right now, their own Vice President, a very cerebral gentleman is at a crossroad, APC does not know if it can risk a Muslim-Muslim ticket again.

“In the coming weeks and coming months, Tinubu will begin to lose sleep when he sees the true colour of human beings.”

How Davido Reacted To Viral Bullying Video From Edo School

Afrobeats singer Davido, whose real name is David Adeleke, has reacted angrily to a viral video showing a brutal bullying incident involving students of Igbinedion Secondary School in Edo State.

The singer reacted on X on Sunday, condemning the behavior in strong terms. “Fuckin animals… so disgusting,” he wrote in response to the footage circulating online.

The video shows two male students repeatedly assaulting a fellow student who had fallen to the ground.

At one point, one of the attackers drags the victim by his school uniform and stomps on his chest and head while the boy cries out in pain.

A third student, recording the incident, can be heard begging them to stop.

The disturbing footage quickly sparked widespread outrage on social media, prompting immediate action from the school authorities.

In response to this, the school in question expelled the students involved in the bullying while suspending the student who did the recording.

In addition, in a statement, the Edo State Police Command confirmed that the students involved have been expelled, while the student who recorded the incident has been suspended.

Police spokesperson Eno Ikioyedem said the Commissioner of Police, Monday Agbonika, has directed the Divisional Police Officer in the area to carry out a full investigation.

2026 Finalissima: Argentina vs Spain Match Cancelled

The 2026 Finalissima match between Argentina national football team and Spain national football team has been cancelled.

This new development was confirmed in a statement by UEFA on Sunday and the news has stunned football fans.

Reports said it was called off due to the team’s inability to reach an agreement with the World Champions.

It read: “After much discussion between UEFA and the organising authorities in Qatar, it is announced today that due to the current political situation in the region, the Finalissima between UEFA EURO 2024 winners Spain and CONMEBOL Copa América 2024 champions Argentina cannot be played as hoped in Qatar 27 March.

“It is a source of great disappointment to UEFA and the organisers that circumstances and timing have denied the teams of the chance to compete for this prestigious prize in Qatar – a country that has demonstrated time and again its capability of staging world-class international events in state-of-the-art facilities.

“UEFA would like to express its deep gratitude to the organising committee and relevant authorities of Qatar for the work that has been put into trying to host the game and its certainty that peace will return to the region soon.”

It added: “The first option was to stage the match at the Santiago Bernabeu stadium in Madrid on the original date with a 50:50 split of supporters in the stadium. This would have provided a world-class setting, befitting of such a prestigious event, but Argentina refused.

“The second was to stage the Finalissima over two legs – one at the Santiago Bernabeu on 27 March and the other in Buenos Aires during an international window before UEFA EURO and Copa America 2028, again offering a supporter split of 50:50 for the match in Madrid. This option was also rejected.

“Ultimately, UEFA sought a commitment from Argentina that, if a neutral venue in Europe could be found, the game could go ahead on 27 March, as planned and announced on 18 December 2025, or on the alternative date of 30 March. This proposal was also rejected.

“Argentina made a counter suggestion to play the game after the World Cup but, as Spain has no available dates, that option had to be ruled out. Finally, and contrary to the original agreed plan that the match would take place on 27 March, Argentina declared its availability to play exclusively on 31 March, a date which proved to be unworkable.

“As a result, and to UEFA’s regret, this edition of the Finalissima has been cancelled.”

King Mitchy’s Apology Is A Decoy To Attack Me – VeryDarkMan Raises Alarm (Video)

VeryDarkMan, the popular Nigerian social media personality has raised concerns about his safety following a public apology from socialite King Mitchy.

The activist suggested that Mitchy’s apology may be a “decoy” intended to mislead the public.

626BLAZE had earlier reported that Mitchy addressed VeryDarkMan directly, acknowledging his advocacy and expressing regret for previously confronting him.

“To VeryDarkMan, my brother, I see what you’re fighting for, you’re fighting for Nigeria and we can make Nigeria a better place. I’m sorry for coming at you like that. Maybe now I understand you better,”
Mitchy said. She added that the activist needs more supporters rather than critics in his fight for a better Nigeria.

Reacting to this, VeryDarkMan took to his instagram page on Sunday to insinuate! that the apology has deeper implications.

“This apology from King Mitchy cannot just come from nowhere. During that period, Lege Miami made a direct video about me, but later deleted it, claiming he received calls from above. Her apology has now pointed me in the right direction,”
he stated.

He went on to allege that he has been specifically targeted, warning that certain individuals should be held accountable if anything happens to him.

“If anything happens to me, hold Mitchy and Seyi Tinubu responsible. Hold them responsible, because you see this thing now, it looks like a decoy to me.

“It looks like something is coming for me, and they told her to go and make this apology so that she will clear the air,” he said.

VeryDarkMan also claimed that messages intended to intimidate him were sent through mutual contacts during the dispute:

“Do you understand there’s something during that time when this whole thing happened, Mitchy was sending messages to people that know me, and those messages were sent to me.

“When Seyi Tinubu came out to write on his Instagram story addressing and talking about the situation, he failed to talk about that part. Now Mitchy has come out to apologize what I call a decoy. She also failed to talk about that part, and this is the part because I’m still scared for my life.”

He further warned against potential attempts to frame him for criminal activity:

“If you hear they see drugs or Igbo inside my car or inside my brother or anybody, na them set me up. If you hear say I do fraud, money laundry, anybody send me money, na them set me up.

“ Anything at all. Or if you hear say I carry firearm, oh, there’s small pistol in my car, na them set me up. Anything these people do, anything to send me to prison,” he said.

Nigerians Hit As Iran Rains Missiles On UAE

Nigerians were among more than 140 residents injured after Iran launched multiple ballistic missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles at the United Arab Emirates, raising fresh concerns for thousands of Nigerians living and working in the Gulf nation.

The UAE Ministry of Defence disclosed on Saturday that its air defence systems intercepted several missiles and drones fired from Iran, describing the attack as a major escalation in the ongoing regional tensions.

In a statement posted on its official X handle, the ministry said its air defence units engaged nine ballistic missiles and 33 drones during the latest assault on March 14.

It added that the attacks left six people de@d and 141 others injured, including foreign nationals.

“The UAE air defence systems on March 14 engaged nine ballistic missiles and 33 UAVs launched from Iran,” the ministry stated.

“Since the onset of this blatant Iranian aggression, UAE air defences have engaged 294 ballistic missiles, 15 cruise missiles, and 1,600 UAVs launched from Iran.”

According to the ministry, those k!lled in the attacks included citizens of the UAE as well as foreign nationals from Pakistan, Nepal and Bangladesh.

Although the authorities did not specify the exact locations where the casualties occurred, the ministry said the injured victims were from several countries, including Nigeria.

Others affected include residents from Egypt, Sudan, Ethiopia, the Philippines, Pakistan, Iran, India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.

The list also included Azerbaijan, Yemen, Uganda, Eritrea, Lebanon, Afghanistan, Bahrain, Comoros, Türkiye, Iraq, Nepal, Oman, Jordan, Palestine, Ghana, Indonesia and Sweden.

The development has sparked concern among Nigerian communities in the UAE, where thousands of citizens live and work in sectors such as construction, hospitality, logistics and trade.

Data from Nigeria’s diaspora commission shows that the UAE remains one of the largest destinations for Nigerian migrants in the Middle East, particularly in the emirates of Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah.

The Nigerian government had in recent years raised concerns over the safety and welfare of its citizens in the country following diplomatic tensions and visa restrictions affecting Nigerians.

Saturday’s attacks have now heightened anxieties within the diaspora community, especially as the Gulf region faces growing military confrontations.
In its statement, the UAE Ministry of Defence said the country remained fully prepared to confront any threats to its security.

“The Ministry of Defence remains fully prepared and ready to deal with any threats and will firmly confront any attempts to undermine state security in a manner that ensures the protection of its sovereignty, security and stability, and safeguards its national interests and capabilities,” the ministry said.

In a separate update, the ministry noted that its defence systems were still actively intercepting missiles and drones.

“UAE air defences are dealing with Iranian ballistic and cruise missiles and drones,” it said.

Regional media reports indicate that the attacks form part of a wider escalation of hostilities between Iran and Western-backed forces in the Middle East.

According to Al Jazeera, Iran has continued sustained missile and drone strikes across the Gulf despite protests from neighbouring states.

The strikes were said to be in retaliation for military operations launched by the United States and Israel against Iranian positions in the region.

Tehran targeted several Gulf countries, including Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the UAE, late on Friday and into Saturday.

The attacks also caused infrastructural damage in parts of the UAE.

Meanwhile, Iran’s elite military wing, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, warned that US interests in the UAE would remain legitimate targets.

Iranian state media reported that the group issued the warning after US forces attacked Iranian-controlled islands.

The IRGC specifically mentioned ports, docks and military installations linked to the United States as potential targets.

It also urged residents in the UAE to evacuate areas around ports and military facilities to avoid civilian casualties.

Security analysts say the growing exchange of threats and strike across the Gulf could destabilise the region’s economic and aviation activities if the conflict escalates further.

Nigeria’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has yet to issue an official statement on the incident as of the time of filing this report.

We developed a friendly relationship. She was familiar with my home and would sometimes visit with the help of a commercial motorcyclist.

“At one point, I suggested creating a comedy skit in which she would act as a pregnant woman. People around us liked the idea, and we filmed it at my house. That particular video later became the source of rumours that she was pregnant with twins in real life. I am not responsible for any pregnancy. The only pregnancy I knew about was the one portrayed in the skit.

She sometimes struggled with feelings of insecurity because of her body size, but I always admired her acting talent.
