Afrobeats artist Ayra Starr has revealed that her eagerly awaited album, Starrgirl, will be released on August 14.
The singer’s rapidly expanding international career will reach yet another milestone with the release of the 16-track project, Starrgirl, through Mavin Records and Republic Records.
The album features high-profile collaborations, including Wizkid on “Gimme Dat” and fellow Mavin star Rema on “Who’s Dat Girl,” and will also include previously released singles such as “Tornado” and “Hot Body.”
Ahead of the release, Ayra Starr unveiled a trailer and promotional images for the project, appearing in a striking blue mini dress.
Sharing the update on social media, she announced that the “Starr girl” was on her way, counting down 11 days to the release and asking fans if they were ready.
The announcement has been accompanied by a pre-save campaign launched by Mavin Records.
