I Want To Establish My Identity – Davido’s Alleged Daughter, Anu Adeleke Says, Publicly Requests DNA Test From Singer

Anu Adeleke, who claims to be singer Davido’s daughter, has officially requested a DNA test to verify her identity.

She made the request public on her Instagram page on Thursday, sharing a photo of herself along with a message about starting school after the holidays and entering her teenage years.

In her post, Anu talked about the lessons her mother and grandmother taught her, including staying away from drugs, alcohol, bad company, and bad behaviour.

She also shared that she has faced bullying at school since the age of six after telling classmates that her father is David Adeleke.

She said the experience caused her emotional distress and that she sought help from a medical professional.

As she grows older, Anu said she wants to establish her identity and formally requested a DNA test from Davido.

She described the test as a personal matter between her and the singer and asked him to consider her request.

She thanked Nigerians who have supported her and said the test is important for her peace of mind.

Reports indicate that two DNA tests were previously done, showing that Davido was not her father.

However, Anu’s mother has challenged those results, claiming they were falsified and that she was denied a proper independent test.

It’s Really Painful To Have Refs Like Ayi – Osayi-Samuel Slams CAF Over Ghanaian Coach

Nigerian fullback Bright Osayi-Samuel has criticized the Confederation of African Football (CAF) for appointing Ghanaian referee Daniel Nii Ayi to officiate the Super Eagles’ semifinal clash against Morocco.

Osayi-Samuel wondered why a game of such calibre would have been assigned to Ayi, who he described as appalling, to handle.

According to the Birmingham defender, the Ghanaian made wrong decisions during the match.

He was unhappy with some calls Ayi made which contributed to Nigeria’s loss.

Nigeria was eliminated from the competition after losing 4-2 in the penalty shootout, as the semifinal match ended without any goals scored during regular time.

The result ended the Super Eagles’ chance of winning their fourth AFCON title for the fourth time as they would have hoped.

After the game, the defender talked to reporters in the mixed zone.

He said he was unhappy with the referee’s performance and claimed that a few incorrect decisions made the game harder to play.

“One thing I would say is that the referee was really bad. I’m not saying that was the reason we lost. He is making really bad choices and it’s really tough to watch because we have referees like this in big games like today.

“But Morocco did really well,” Osayi-Samuel said.

The fullback said losing was really tough, but he praised Nigeria’s defense for how well they held up against Morocco.

The Super Eagles will now focus on the third-place playoff against Egypt, where they will compete for the bronze medal.

Wetin Man Do Man? — Regina Daniels’ Brother Speaks Out After Release From Detention

Samuel Ojeogwu, popularly known as Sammy West, a Nigerian singer and elder brother of Nollywood actress Regina Daniels, has spoken out after regaining his freedom alongside Ann, a close friend of the actress, following their controversial arrest allegedly connected to billionaire politician Senator Ned Nwoko.

Sammy West confirmed their release in a post on his Instagram story on January 14, revealing that the matter had been adjourned until March 5, 2026.

The arrest of Sammy West and Ann had earlier generated widespread reactions on social media after a viral video surfaced showing the moment security operatives took them from their residence.

The development triggered heated debates online, with many Nigerians questioning the circumstances surrounding their detention and the alleged involvement of Senator Nwoko in the matter.

Recounting his experience, Sammy West expressed anger and frustration over what he described as unequal and humiliating treatment during their arrest and transfer to Abuja.

According to him, while he was handcuffed and transported by road for 12 hours, Ann was allegedly flown to Abuja in a private jet.

“Wetin man do man! Put me for 12 hours journey on handcuff and Ann dem use private jet transport am,”
 he said.

He added that similar tactics were used during both arrests, which he claimed were designed to intimidate and suppress them.

Sammy West further alleged that they were denied access to their families and legal representatives, and that details of the court proceedings were deliberately kept from them until the last moment.

“Similar techniques. Not letting the legal representative or family aware of the whereabouts. Not allowing anyone to know the court, the final stage of prison. Case adjourned until March 5th,”
 he wrote.

He described the experience as troubling and raised concerns about transparency and fairness within the legal process.

Hours after his initial post, the singer confirmed that Ann had regained her freedom as well.

“My T.E.D. Ann is out,”
 he wrote.
