Forgive Me – Actress Nkechi Blessing Apologizes To BBNaija Star, Imisi Over ‘Offensive’ Question About Mother (Video)

Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing has issued a public apology to Imisi Ayanwale, winner of Big Brother Naija Season 10.

The reality TV star cum Nollywood actress threw a lavish birthday party attended by many celebrities, including Do2dtun, Bisola Aiyeola, Kiekie, Nkechi Blessing, Brodashaggi, BBNaija Kola, Mide, Mitchy, Isabella, Kayvee, and many others.

During a question-and-answer session at the birthday party, Nkechi asked Imisi, who has been at loggerheads with her mother for a long time, if she would ever forgive and reconcile with her.

However, Nkechi Blessing’s question generated mixed reactions online, with some netizens attacking her.

Responding to the massive online backlash, Nkechi, in a video on her Instagram page, tendered a heartfelt apology to the reality star and her fans.

According to the movie star, the question was never intended or meant to chase clout, adding that anyone who finds the question offensive should forgive her.

She said, “I sincerely want to apologise to anybody who got offended by the question I asked Imisi a couple of hours ago at her party. If you find my question offensive, I am sorry. Find a place in your heart to forgive me. Whoever is dragging me, fighting me, abusing me, please don’t be offended.”

The loggerheads began when Imisi’s mother posted videos online, saying she had been abandoned and still lived in poor conditions despite Imisi’s N150 million win.

The videos, released on November 16, showed her mother expressing frustration and insisting she would not plead for help.

In her response shared on her Instagram page, Imisi stated that her mother was not involved in her life before her BBNaija victory, saying that long periods would pass without any contact.

She said the sudden public outburst shocked her because the relationship had always been strained.

Imisi explained that she has supported her mother over the years and had sent money even in the days leading up to the controversy.

She added that she cannot use her prize money for personal comfort of one person since many family members now depend on her.

Just Days After Enrolling In University, Peller Drops Out, Explains Why (Video)

Popular TikTok creator Habeeb Hamzat, widely known as Peller, has hinted that he may not return to school, just days after celebrating his admission to study law at a private university in Lagos State.

Peller made the disclosure in a voice note shared on his channel on Tuesday, where he complained that attending school was affecting his ability to make money.

“Guys, I swear to God, I remember I said I am going to school… I am not going again. I am not going again,” he said.

The content creator explained that spending hours in class without earning income made the experience unacceptable to him.

“I just remember, I was inside class for four hours. I didn’t make any money. I will write, I will look, I will play, not making anything. God forbid. I am not doing that one again,” he said.

Peller also claimed he felt out of place among other students, describing himself as the youngest person in the class.

“When I enter the school, I notice that everyone is old, I am the only young blood there,” he added.

He further stated that he would consider returning to school later in life.

“So I need to go old. Maybe when I clock like 30, 40 years, I will now go to school. Please cancel everything. I am tired,” he said.

The development marks a sharp reversal from Peller’s recent public celebration of his admission into a law programme.

Recall that the TikTok sensation had, in a video that went viral on Saturday, announced that he had secured admission to study law at a private university in Lagos State, although he declined to disclose the name of the institution.

In the video, Peller expressed excitement over the admission and appeared to respond to critics who had mocked his educational background.

“Everyone has been criticising me for not being educated, as if I’m the first person who didn’t attend university. Now, all of you should leave social media, because I’m in school,” he said.

“I’m now studying law. You can see it, right? You can’t mess with me anymore. I know the law,” he added.

Recall that the content creator has faced sustained criticism online over his grammar and educational background, with some users describing him as “uneducated.”

Earlier this month, Peller had disclosed plans to further his education, noting that the decision was partly aimed at improving his spoken English.

He has also been in the public eye following a controversy surrounding the visit of American streamer IShowSpeed to Nigeria.

I Was Going To Become A Pastor At 19, But I Ran Away – Nigerian Actress, Tonto Dikeh Opens Up (Video)

Actress Tonto Dikeh has disclosed that she almost became a pastor at the age of 19, opening up about her spiritual journey during a viral livestream interview that followed her reconciliation with ex-husband Olakunle Churchill.

Dikeh stated she has had a divine calling since childhood and ran away from it, believing God wanted her to experience life fully.

The actress attributed her survival to faith, citing trials and divine guidance.

The mother of one said, “I have always had this calling right from when I was a child. At 19, I was going to be a pastor until I just ran away for no reason. I’ve been in church since I left secondary school. So I’ve known God intimately, I’ve known God intensely, for as long as I was a child. And I’ve always known that I have this calling.

“If you watch what has happened in my life, it’s not ordinary. Anybody who may have or may walk in my shoes may not have survived, would not even survive. Because God called me for something and He needed me to go through all of these things to come out of the firebrand that I am today.”

Dikeh also added that her calling lies in prayer and healing, hinting at an online prayer platform launch pending divine approval.

Dikeh stated, “Prayers and healing are my calling. God can heal. It depends on what God asks me to do. I think any good Christian can. Any firm believer can. At this stage of my life, I’m just letting God lead. God asked me to start praying for people online, and that’s what I’m doing. He’s the one taking me day by day. I’m just a vessel.

“So if He says to do that, I will do that. I don’t know about monetising. My calling is not about money. I was talking to somebody the other day, and I told the person, “You see, there are some people who are just going to be there for God forever.”

Dikeh said her return to faith wasn’t driven by fame or wealth but survival and the desire to live.

“I didn’t run to God because of money. I’m already rich. Because I wanted to turn a new leaf. Because I wanted to step into the mandate. You know, the extra vessel mandated that He wanted me to step into”,she added.

She previously shared struggles with demonic anger, smoking, alcoholism, and other personal battles, crediting God for deliverance.

You Can’t Silence Me Anymore – Actor Femi Adebayo’s Ex-Wife, Iyan Aladuke Calls Him Out Over Eviction, Marriage Crisis

Omotayo Sanusi, also known as Iyan Aladuke and the ex-wife of Nollywood actor Femi Adebayo, has criticised the actor over the controversy surrounding her alleged eviction from a Lagos property and their marital crisis.

This comes after a family member defended Femi Adebayo over the eviction and backlash on social media.

Iyan Aladuke recently cried out about the shutdown of her business due to circumstances beyond her control, which generated reactions on social media, with claims that Adebayo had abandoned her.

However, a family member, Taiwo Abdulmalik, in an interview with Punch, said Iyan Aladuke was aware of the circumstances that led to her eviction from the Lagos property.

Abdulmalik said the development was the result of a bank recovery process and not a deliberate action by Femi.

According to her, Adebayo purchased the property through a bank loan, and the bank later commenced foreclosure after repayment issues arose.

In response to the publication and to narrating her ordeal, Iyan Aladuke spoke about going through tough times and said she never intended to take the matter to social media.

Iyan Aladuke said that the lies being told about her were beginning to fall apart, while the truth about her ex-husband’s character was gradually coming to light.

According to her, Femi Adebayo brought about 20 men to evict them and expected the incident not to attract public attention, stressing that her aged mother was thrown out by men carrying guns.

Speaking further, Iyan Aladuke said Femi Adebayo has always been desperate to save his name and unbothered who goes down, but she will no longer keep silent anymore.

She also claimed that the actor had staged a visit to his son’s school after abandoning him for a year.

She wrote, “I’m going through a tough time and really didn’t want to air it on social media, but here I am. Last year, I was bashed and falsely accused, but thank God for the good people around me who stood by me. Now it seems the tables have turned-what was meant to disgrace me has turned to glory.

“The lies are falling apart, and people are seeing the true character. I can see the desperation, the damage control. What did you expect when you took almost 20 armed men to a public place to evict people? Of course, the news would spread! You started it, keep fueling. My aged mother was thrown out with a gun, knowing fully well she’ll be there as she comes around to help me with my child! Who are you to talk to me about God! You don’t know God! You only put up the act.

“You always want to silence me by targeting my reputation. I’m done keeping quiet! You can’t silence me anymore! The desperation to save your name, you don’t care who goes down! I’m not going down with your lies! Whoever published those false narratives in Punch Newspapers should retract them. I’m only quiet because of my son-please don’t push me!

“You staged a visit to his school on Wednesday after being absent for a whole year, even when your office is just a few minutes’ walk from home! You took a picture to garnish your image, watched us thrown out of my marital home on Friday, and now published the visit in Punch. I knew what was coming the moment I was told of your impromptu visit and picture play.”

The Nigerian government has announced that efforts to restore the national grid are underway, hours after it collapsed on Tuesday—marking the second grid failure since Friday last week.

The Nigeria Independent System Operator (NISO), in an update on Tuesday, said nationwide electricity restoration began around 11:00 a.m. following the collapse at about 10:48 a.m. the same day.

NISO clarified that the grid disturbance originated from the Gombe Transmission Substation. However, restoration began at about 11:11 a.m. and has since been completed.

“The national grid experienced a voltage disturbance which originated from the Gombe Transmission Substation.

“The disturbance rapidly propagated across the network, affecting Jebba, Kainji, and subsequently Ayede Transmission Substations. The event was accompanied by the tripping of some transmission lines and generating units, resulting in a partial system collapse.

“Appropriate corrective actions were immediately implemented to stabilise the system and restore normal operations. Restoration, which began at about 11:11 a.m., has since been completed.

“The incident only affected part of the grid; therefore, it was not a total collapse as reported.”
