Allow Us To Save You, You’ve Been Suffering For Too Long – 2Baba’s Brother Begs Singer

Hyacinth Idibia, a brother to Nigerian music legend Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, has reached out to the singer amid the ongoing marital crisis involving his new wife, Natasha.

Earlier, 626Blaze reported that 2Baba’s former manager, Kaka Igbokwe, during an Instagram live session with media personality, Daddy Freeze, claimed that the singer is in a toxic marriage with Natasha.

He alleged that Natasha, a member of the Edo state House of Assembly, has been physically abusive towards 2Baba and has been disrupting his business moves.

According to Kaka, Natasha controls 2Baba’s finances and struggles to account for the funds or pay the staff who work with the music icon.

Now, Hyacinth has joined in talking about the situation.

In a post shared on his Instagram story on Wednesday, Hyacinth appealed to his brother to let them save him.

He also shared an audio recording of a song 2Baba had recorded, speaking about an independent woman who was ‘chopping’ all his money and leaving him with zero balance.

Hyacinth pointed out that his brother has been brilliant with his lyrics, and the lyrics, meant to be inspiring, somehow unfold in real time.

He wrote, “You’ve always been ahead. Always been brilliant. Lyrics meant to inspire, but somehow, it is unfolding real time… Painful reality, allow us save you, Oyinem, you have been suffering for too long. God knows.”

Nnamdi Kanu Has Turned Sokoto Prison To Mecca, He Is Now A Celebrity – Sowore Taunts FG

Omoyele Sowore, the renowned activist and SaharaReporters publisher, has stated that the detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, has become a celebrity within the Sokoto Custodial Centre.

Sowore spoke to journalists at the Federal High Court, Abuja, where he insisted that the Federal Government would eventually realise it made a historic blunder by securing a life sentence against the separatist agitator.

The former presidential candidate said Kanu’s influence inside the detention facility had grown significantly since his relocation to Sokoto.

According to him: “Nnamdi Kanu is already a celebrity in prison. They said he has already become the president of the prison, but I doubt, it must have been conferred on him just by respect.”

He added that attempts by authorities to humiliate the IPOB leader had backfired: “When they were taking him to Sokoto, they thought that they would ridicule him, and when they got to Sokoto, he turned Sokoto into another Mecca.”

Sowore maintained that the government would eventually reverse Kanu’s sentence.

“Very soon you will see that, on their own, they would reverse the fundamental mistake they have made regarding Kanu,”
he said.

The activist further claimed he had long foreseen the outcome: “I predicted that they would send him to prison, and I predicted that it would be the mistake of their lives.”

The former Presidential candidate also took a swipe at the trial judge, Justice James Omotosho.

“I want his family members to give me the right to admit people to see him, so that I would tell you the day the judge who sentenced him would go to Sokoto to beg, like Fela was begged, if he has not done that already,”
Sowore said.

He mocked the rush of people seeking to visit the IPOB leader: “The people we asked to protest to prevent Kanu from going to jail are all rushing to Sokoto.”

Sowore blasted federal authorities for allegedly mismanaging the case.

“They don’t have sense or people who can reason in government. Look at where we are, you jailed Kanu and he’s now a celebrity in prison,”
he stated.

The activist insisted that the treatment meted out to the IPOB leader had only elevated his status among supporters.

It Took Me One Year To Find And Sign Brymo To Chocolate City – Veteran Rapper, MI Abaga Reveals

Nigerian rapper Jude Abaga, popularly known as MI Abaga, has recounted the year-long search that eventually led him to discover and sign the enigmatic singer Brymo to Chocolate City.

Speaking on the Vbyz TV Cartel, Abaga explained that, after the commercial and critical triumph of his own projects, along with those of labelmates Jesse Jagz and Ice Prince, the natural next step was to broaden the label’s scope.

The 44-year-old record producer said his next move was to bring a singer into the fold to “fill out the group”.

Abaga said he randomly heard Brymo’s voice, adding that “it took me a year to find” him and sign him to Chocolate City.

“We were ready, and the rest, they say, is history. My album did really well, Jesse Jagz dropped an album after that, and it did really well, Ice Prince dropped after that, and it did really well,” he said.

“I started looking for how we could expand because I’ve always had this mindset of expansion, so I was like, we need a singer to fill out the group.

“I actually tried to get Yung6ix on board, the deal didn’t work out, and he ended up going to Storm Records. I tried to get Shaydee on board, and it didn’t work out; he ended up going to EME.

“In the middle of this, too, I met Wizkid; he was really young, and I put him on my first album.

“And all these were happening at the time, and then one day I heard a voice, and I was like, who is this kid?.

“It took me like a year to find him. His name was Brymo; he joined our label, and we became the Choc Boys that became the foundation of Chocolate City.”

Born Olawale Ibrahim Ashimi, Brymo signed with Chocolate City in 2010 and rose to prominence, notably after featuring on Ice Prince’s hit single ‘Oleku’.
He left the label in 2013.

How I Was Chased Off Headies Red Carpet In 2008 For Omotola To Take Pictures – MI Abaga Recounts (Video)

Ace Nigerian rapper Jude ‘MI’ Abaga has recalled being chased off the red carpet at the 2008 Headies Awards to make way for veteran actress Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde to take photos.

MI Abaga, in a recent interview on the Vbyz TV Cartel, described the period leading up to the awards as one of unrecognised hard work.

Abaga said that despite being nominated in the ‘Best Rap Single’ category, people on the red carpet did not know him, as they said, ‘common, get out of here’ to accommodate Omotola‘s photo session.

The 44-year-old rapper added that everyone at the ceremony looked at him differently after taking his award.

He said, “I have been grinding and no one cares about who I am and in February 2008, I was announced as the winner for ‘Best Rap Single’ and literally my life changed that day. I remember I was walking into the crowd with my manager and as we were walking in Omotola came in with her security.

“The people on the red carpet did not even know I was nominated, so they were just like ‘common get out of here’. So we went to stand at one other corner and because Omotola was moving from side to side to take her picture, they kept chasing us from place to place.

“I was just looking at stardom and two hours later, I had an award in my hand, a gold plaque from Ayo Animashaun and after that plaque, everybody was like ‘MI is in the game’. After that it was ‘Safe’, ‘Talk About It’ and ‘Incredible Music’.”

I Feel Heartbroken Seeing The Embarrassing Videos About You – Nigerian Skit-Maker, Nasboi Writes Open Letter To 2Baba

Lawal Michael Nasiru, the Nigerian skit maker and singer, who is popularly known as Nasboi, has voiced concern for music legend Innocent Idibia, widely called 2Baba, amid the ongoing crisis and controversy surrounding his relationship with Edo State lawmaker Natasha Osawuru.

Nasboi, in an open letter via his Instagram page on Tuesday, said he is heartbroken over online videos and news about 2Baba, citing the respect and admiration he has held for the music icon since adolescence.

The skit maker highlighted 2Baba’s character and humility, as well as his reserved nature, not being quick to speak about issues involving himself and his family.

Nasboi pleaded with 2Baba to reclaim his public image and take control of the current situation.

He wrote, “Dear King 2Face Idibia ( 2 baba ) @official2baba

“I feel genuinely heartbroken seeing some of the embarrassing videos and news about you circulating online. It hurts because you have always been my mentor. I’ve looked up to you since I was 16. I loved every bit of your music, your personality, and the humility you carried yourself with. In fact, you were one of the people who taught me what it means to be humble.

“You have had your criticism in the past, but your character and humility still stood tall. I never knew you as someone who fought publicly, argued online, or created drama. The 2Face I grew up loving was calm, humble, and carried himself with grace.

I know every family has its issues, but one thing I know about 2baba was how he never speaks on things like this. No matter what happened behind closed doors, you never brought it outside.

“Sir, you may have your private battles with anyone in your life that is normal but the version of events being brought online now is damaging and unfamiliar to those of us who truly love and respect you. Your current situation is presenting a side of you that many of us have never seen, and it is painful to watch.

“Please, sir… for the sake of people like me who have loved you from a young age… Please take control of this situation. We still believe in you. We still admire you. We still want to see the 2Baba we grew up respecting.

“This message is from a boy who has loved you since he was 16. I chose this particular song because suddenly, the lyrics hits differently. With respect, love, and deep concern, A loyal fan.”
