Odumodublvck, the Nigerian rapper, has revealed that he will step away from music once his “closest friends” achieve success in the industry.
The ‘Declan Rice’ hitmaker brought the revelation to light on Sunday in a post on X.
“Once all my nighas make it in music, I’m out,” the post reads.
While he didn’t specify which friends he was referring to, fans speculate he was talking about members of the Anti World Gangstars.
The group comprises five rappers — Agunna, Fatboy E, Reeplay, Shagba, and Odumodublvck — along with their producer and sound engineer Cross.
Born Tochukwu Ojogwu, Odumodublvck is known for his unique stage performance and genre-mix style. In 2022, he signed a record deal with NATIVE Records, in partnership with Def Jam Recordings.
In the same year, he put out his first single titled ‘Picanto’ featuring ECko Miles and Zlatan Ibile.
However, Odumodublvck remains the only member of the group who has achieved global recognition in the music industry.
The MOBO Awards has unveiled nominations for their 2025 edition.

Famous rapper Odumodublvck cautions fellow artists against disliking the Grammy winner, Wizkid.
In a Toronto interview with Elsie, Odumodublvck stated that disliking Wizkid affects one’s own success.
Odumodublvck made this known while opining that he wouldn’t be upset if he and Wizkid were to collaborate on a song, and he doesn’t promote it by posting it on his page.
He noted that those who get angry over things like this would only lose.
“There some artists that when you release music with them, they look as if they are doing you a favour.
“I’ve never released music and asked the artist that I featured to post it. I don’t care if you promote it. You’ve done the most important thing by giving me a verse,” he said.
“If Wizkid gives me a verse and my album comes and he doesn’t post about it, I will not be angry. If you start hating on Wizkid Machala, you lose,”Odumodublvck said.

He said personally, he wouldn’t be offended if he featured Wizkid on his album and he didn’t post it on social media.
“There some artists that when you release music with them, they look as if they are doing you a favour.

Nigerian rapper, Tochukwu Gbubemi Ojogwu, popularly known as Odumodublvck, has taken to the X platform to set the records straight over allegations of being a misogynist and woman abuser.
The claim surfaced amid speculations about his past relationship with Onyeka, a BBNaija season 9 contestant.
The accuser questioned the admiration for Onyeka given Odumodublvck’s alleged history.
In a response, Odumodublvck denied the allegations, stating that he has never physically harmed any woman.
He listed several female artists and project managers he has worked with, emphasizing his respect for women.
Odumodublvck expressed his desire to set the record straight for the sake of his loved ones and fans, and warned against spreading untruths.
Tochukwu Ojogwu, the popular Nigerian rapper, who is also known as Odumodublvck, has said 2Baba is the only veteran Nigerian artist he regards as a legend.

On his X handle, he wrote: “Na person wey I go call OG [legend] be this. All day, every day.
