Former Big Brother Naija star Kiddwaya has claimed that his father, Terry Waya, was the one who discovered the famous Banana Island in Lagos.

He made the claim in a recent of the Off The Record podcast.

The host asked: “I heard that your dad discovered Banana Island. Is that correct?”

Kiddwaya replied: “Yeah, I didn’t even know until I heard it during one of my trips.”

Kiddwaya’s dad, Terry Waya is a self-acclaimed billionaire with investments in the real estate, agriculture and hospitality industry.

His public profile was further boosted during and after his son Kiddwaya’s appearance on the Big Brother Naija reality show in 2020.

Nigerian reality TV star Terseer Kidd Waya aka Kiddwaya has revealed why he will never date a broke woman.

According to him, broke women are entitled.

He stated this while speaking in an episode of Off The Record podcast.

The billionaire’s son said that many of them start off being humble and appreciative but later develop a sense of entitlement once they get used to his lifestyle.

He said: “At first, they’re thankful everything feels new and exciting. But after a few months, they start comparing themselves to others. They want the same bags, the same trips, and soon, what was once special becomes expected. The entitlement sets in and sometimes turns into rudeness. That’s been my biggest issue dating someone from a lower class and bringing them into my lifestyle.”

Nigerian reality TV star, Kiddwaya has revealed what he wants in a partner.
He made his opinion known in an episode of Off The Record Podcast.
According to him, character and values matter more to him than wealth or social status.
The former Big Brother Naija housemate explained that he prefers someone kind, respectful, and grounded.
He said: “I don’t pick based on background or status. Just be nice, have good energy, and stay grounded. I’m very easy to please when it comes to relationships. You have to believe in God. It doesn’t have to be tied to religion, but there must be a belief in something higher than us.
 
“The way you speak to a waiter or anyone who’s not on your level says everything about you. Respect should never depend on status. I could wake up and say, ‘Babe, we’re going to Jamaica tomorrow,’ and I want her to say, ‘Let’s go. I just like someone who can match my energy and enjoy the moment,” he added.

I Live Life For A Living, I’m Not Interested In Working – BBNaija Star, Kiddwaya Declares

Nigerian reality TV star, Kiddwaya, who is the son of Nigerian billionaire businessman Terry Waya, has stirred controversy after revealing his “occupation.”

Featuring in a recent episode of the Off The Record podcast, the ex-BBNaija star disclosed that his occupation is living and enjoy his dad’s wealth.

He stated that he is not interested in work or business, emphasising that he is a man of leisure.

“What I do for a living is that I wake up, I decide what destination I want to fly to, I go that destination, I’m with my boys and girls and have fun; we drink, eat, and party. And we repeat,” he said.

“I’m a man of leisure. My view on life is live it to the fullest. I’m not interested in working. I can tell you I am into oil and trade but that is not my truth. It was my truth before, trying to figure out how to tell the world what I do. The world is not trying to hear that. So, I’m giving them my truth and also the truth they want to hear, which is I am a rich man’s son and I’m living my life January to January. I’m having fun.”

Kiddwaya said marriage won’t change him from “living for a living” and having fun. He explained that he would marry a woman who also loves to have fun.

He, however, pointed out that he “works hard” to maintain his integrity and family’s reputation by avoiding scandals.

He argued that many would have misused the privileges he has if they were in his shoes.

Reality TV star Kiddwaya has cried out on Instagram after getting robbed for the second time in Ibiza, Spain.

He took to his Instagram page to cry out for help.
This is the second time he’s getting robbed at Ibiza. The previous incident happened in 2022.
He recounted how the thieves struck at 3 am, stealing wristwatches, 70k euros, Birkin bags, and other valuables.
Captioning the video, he wrote: “WATCH THIS VIDEO: I got robbed this morning in Ibiza! THIS IS A MESSAGE TO ANYONE TRAVELING TO EUROPE THIS SUMMER ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE GETTING VILLAS.”

Ex-BBNaija All Stars housemate, Kiddwaya has given a loud response to those saying he gained nothing after he was evicted from the reality show.

The evicted All Stars housemate took to his ‘X’ page to reveal some of the things he has gained in real life.

A social media user had gone online to make an analysis of the losers and gainers of this year’s edition.

Amongst other housemates, he had squeezed in Kiddwaya’s name into the list of losers of this year’s BBNaija show.

In reaction, Kiddwaya said that he has gained a lot of things in real life, including a rich father, uncle, friends and two passports.

“Lol. I gained in real life. Rich father. Rich friends. Rich uncles. 2 passports. Complete freedom.,” Kiddwaya replied.

BBNaija All Stars: Why I Kissed Mercy Eke – Kiddwaya

Terseer Waya, the third evicted BBNaija All Stars housemate, who is also known as Kiddwaya, has explained that he flirted with and kissed Mercy Eke because he sees her as “a female version” of himself.

 

He, however, added that the kiss wasn’t deep, stressing that it was just “cruise.”

Kidd stated this in a recent interview with Naija FM, Lagos.

He said, “Mercy and I were actually flirting. She is someway a female version of me. We were just actually flirting and playing. The kiss wasn’t anything serious.

“That day I was intoxicated, everyone was intoxicated with alcohol. Everything is cruise in that House.”

Recall that Kiddwaya’s girlfriend, Laura unfollowed him on Instagram after he admitted kissing Mercy moments before he was evicted.

However, Kiddwaya recently bragged that she would follow him back, adding that she doesn’t understand that his kiss with Mercy was just “a game.”

Evicted BBNaija All Stars housemate, Terseer Waya, aka Kiddwaya has reacted after he was unfollowed by his girlfriend, Laura.
Recall that she unfollowed him on Instagram after he admitted kissing Mercy Eke shortly before his eviction.
Reacting during one of his media rounds, Kiddwaya revealed that she will follow him back.
According to him, the kiss with Mercy was just a game.
“My relationship is going well. We are solid, man. In any normal relationship, there are issues here and there but I’m Kiddwaya, man, what can go wrong?

Evicted BBNaija All Stars contestant, Kiddwaya has been unfollowed by his girlfriend, Laura Dirtu on Instagram.
This happened following his admission to sharing a kiss with Mercy Eke in the Big Brother house.
Dirtu is popular on Tiktok.
Earlier reports revealed that Kiddwaya and Mercy shared a steamy kiss in a hidden corner of the Big Brother house.
During a recent Sunday night eviction episode, the show’s host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, confronted both Kiddwaya and Mercy about the kiss.
While Mercy denied the kiss and feigned ignorance, Kiddwaya openly admitted to it, describing it as a “small kiss.”
In his words; “My girlfriend is watching the show. I am not going to deny that I and Mercy kissed each other after the pool party on Thursday”.
This revelation appears to have had consequences outside the house, as Kiddwaya’s girlfriend has reportedly taken action.
She unfollowed Kiddwaya on Instagram, hinting at potential strains in their relationship due to his actions on the show.
