Superstar Nigerian singer, Davido has taken to his instastories to flaunt a receipt of 35,000 dollars spent on his cousin’s birthday.

The singer’s cousin, Tunji Adeleke, turned a year older and Davido decided to splash wads of dollars to celebrate him.

He showed off a receipt containing the list of items he bought for the celebration and the total bill amounted to about 35k dollars.

This is coming shortly after the singer splashed millions of naira on a limited edition Maybach Virgil Abloh.

Recall that the ‘Unavailable’ crooner acquired a 2023 Maybach Virgil Abloh which has only 150 of its kind in the whole world.

The DMW boss who’s on a shopping spree to spoil himself revealed that he had spent 1 million dollars in one day.

Following this, he reportedly splashed some more $400,000 on Patek Philippe to match his recently acquired luxury ride.

He could be seen in posts on his Instagram page showing off the opulent watch, noting that he loves to spoil himself since he works hard and deserves it.

Superstar Afrobeats singer, has revealed that he used to be a producer before he considered singing.

The ‘Unavailable’ crooner disclosed that he always wanted to work in the background before he discovered that he was quite good at singing and better than others he was recording.

He disclosed this in a recent interview with Forbes.

He said, “I used to be a producer. I have always wanted to be like in the background of things. So, I used to have an older cousin, he was like the musician of the family. I’m the last born of my family. But then I was very good with like computers, tech, stuff like that.

“So, when he told me he does music, I quickly went to go and learn how to record music from YouTube. I bought a computer, programme and everything, so I started learning on YouTube. Then I started recording artists. One of my cousins that always with me every time in the studio, he noticed that if you are an artist and I’m recording you. He noticed that if the artist made a mistake, I’m like ‘Nah, don’t sing it like that, sing it like this. Sing it this way, it will catch their ears more this way.’

“So, over time doing that, I was like ‘Yo! I’m better than everybody that I’m recording’. I was like ‘You know, maybe I should record a song’. The first song I ever recorded, blew up.”

David Adeleke, the famous Nigerian Afrobeats singer, who is professionally known by his stage name Davido, has talked about his social media followership.

He revealed a little secret on how he became the most followed artiste in Africa.

Revealing this in a viral video interview on social media, Davido described himself as a very likeable and social person, and this aided in increasing the number of his followers.

Davido, who has 26.9 million followers on Instagram and 13.4 million on Twitter, explained that he invests quality time in social media.

He said: “Wizkid and Burna Boy are not as social as I am and don’t post frequently like me. I would have opted for stand-up comedy if I wasn’t making music because I’m a very funny being.”

The Unavailable hitmaker added that he was a tech enthusiast when he was much younger and was the one who opened an Instagram page for his wife, Chioma Rowland and always reminded her to post.

A Nigerian lady identified as Jenny Godswill has expressed gratitude to superstar singer, Davido for meeting a man she referred to as her soulmate at his recently held concert in Lagos state.

Jenny and the man were immediately attracted to each other, which could be described as love at first sight.

She shared pictures of them dressed in matching outfits and bucket hats, while they were looking affectionately at each other.

Despite having only known each other for two days, she asserted him as her soulmate.

Jenny Godswill expressed her gratitude towards Davido for organizing the concert, as it helped her discover her missing piece.

In her caption, she wrote: “We met at the Timeless Concert Thank you Davido for giving me my own soulmate ❤️”
