I apologize; BNXN tenders an apology for allegedly “disrespecting” Davido.

Artist Daniel Benson, better known by his stage name BNXN, has expressed regret for offending musician Davido.

He said the derogatory thing on Thursday after an online altercation with one of the singer’s fans on X.

Outraged by the derogatory remark, Davido removed a tweet in which he hinted at a potential partnership with BNXN.

Davido responded, but BNXN insisted he would still release the song without his permission, stating that he authored “everything” and that fans had taken his tweet “out of proportion.”

He did, however, issue an apology on Thursday night after receiving criticism for “disrespecting” his boss from DMW signee Dremo.

“@BNXN,” tweeted Dremo. You can’t be tweeting as if you don’t know that fans will blow things out of proportion since it’s obvious that you knew what you…;

Quoting his tweet, BNXN wrote: “No yawa. I’m sorry.”

I Wrote Everything: BNXN Promises to Release Davido Song Without His Consent

According to singer Daniel Benson, better known by his stage name BNXN, he co-wrote the song with Davido.

This was in line with his assertion that he would release the song without Davido’s consent.

In response to a rumor that Davido had removed the tweet in which he hinted at their collaboration after their former signee, Burna Boy, had disparaged him, he made this promise.

Remember how BNXN attacked Davido while criticizing a netizen who disparaged his musical ability? By implying that the netizen had poor taste in music, BNXN implied that the netizen, who was a fan of the DMW boss, had no right to talk on matters pertaining to music.

Davido apparently deleted a post hinting to a potential cooperation with BNXN, seemingly incensed by the slight.

@Mbadeyforyou, an X user, posted, “Omo Davido delete that tweet about him and Buju song.” We will never receive that classic, Chaii.

BNXN tweeted, quoting him, “I’ll drop it. Everything was written by me. What on earth are you people worrying me about? Protecting my artist?

“I’ve said my piece, but they’ll take this tweet down. I cannot be bullied by anyone. Fans are usually exaggerating things beyond reality.

The user’s cover photo is the artwork from Davido’s “Timeless” album. The user is well-known to be a fan of the artist on X.

Even after BNXN removed the tweet, internet users persisted in criticizing him for making fun of Davido while joking with one of his fans.

@heiskaptain said, “This davido disrespect is crazy sha, imagine Buju throwing subs at a whole Davido.”
Big Ayo opined, “Nah Buju is wrong for that tweet!!! Deleting doesn’t make it better either.
“Openly disrespecting Davido is rubbish & make no sense whatsoever.. from where to where???? He thinks davido is Ruger??”
@thatdammygirlie added, “Buju needs to publicly apologize to Davido and 30BG or else we will cancel him.”

Unbelievable!!! Read What People Say As Burna Boy Called Davido Something

Grammy-winning Nigerian musician Burna Boy, also known as Damini Ogulu, sparked debate on social media when he joked about teammate Davido.

Everything began with a joke from a Davido fan who referred to him as a “ode” for having recently lost four Grammy awards.

Burna Boy responded to a Davido fan who used the DMW boss as his display photo by saying, “Ode, bottled four Grammys,” under a post on Burna Boy’s X handle. Burna Boy said, “The actual joke is in your display pic.”

After the fan switched from Davido to the “African Giant” as his display photo, Burna Boy later removed his comment.

Burna Boy responded to a fan’s effort to ridicule him for removing his comment by saying that he did so because the user had altered his display photo.

“Burna Boy no fit stand on business?” the admirer wrote. Does he fold? “You nor see say baba don change am put my picture?” Burna Boy retorted. “Na me pare joking?”

The artist removed the comment, but it still caused a stir on social media, with many people denouncing it.

View a few of the responses below:

@NuTyrant: “One of the reasons Burna Boy will always be labeled as a New Cat is that his unprovoked shade directed towards Davido is indicative of his immaturity.”

@jah_boi: “Burna Boy’s fans still prefer him to Wiz despite his constant, direct insults to Davido since 2020. This suggests that they aren’t true Davido Stan fans, but rather Wizkid haters.”

“Most Burna fans are hypocrites walai,” said @Owiggy. Just picture, say, that stuff being tweeted by O B O.

Entertainer Cynthia Morgan, also known as Madrina, has disclosed how she and musician Davido had a falling out.

She said this while live on Instagram.

Cynthia recalled how their arguments started during their 2011 first meeting.

Cynthia, who is obviously a huge fan of the superstar singer, acknowledged that she had contacted him to remix his then-hit song “Dami Duro,” but he had hung up on her.

Cynthia claimed that she had her second encounter with him while out at a club with his family and that he had treated her like a party girl.
