Afrobeats star David Adeleke, aka Davido, has bragged in a new video.
Davido claimed that he is the greatest of all time in the Nigerian music industry.

Despite being regarded as one of the three biggest Nigerian artists currently alongside Wizkid and Burna Boy, Davido has continued to downplay any comparison between him and his colleagues.
In a video shared on TikTok by British-Nigerian content creator, Shopsydoo, Davido could be heard bragging about being the only “GOAT” in Nigeria.
 
“There is only one GOAT in my country and it’s me,” he boasted.
Davido had recently stated on an American show, Sway’s Universe, that contrary to assumptions that he, Wizkid, and Burna Boy are currently the three biggest Afrobeats stars in the world, he is the only big Afrobeats artiste.

She has now clarified that they are just friends.

According to her, Davido os just her ‘homeboy’ and there’s nothing between them, insisting that the nature of her relationship with the singer, involves nothing shady or secretive.

Davido Reveals Only American Artist He Can ‘Disturb’ Himself To Collaborate With

David Adeleke, the Nigerian singer, who is popularly known as Davido, has said aside from Chris Brown, he won’t “disturb” himself for any other American collaboration.

He said he is expecting a collaboration with Rihanna after she declared his song ‘Unavailable’ her favourite song.

Davido featured in a recent podcast interview with Sway’s Universe.

“Aside Chris Brown, I’m not going to disturb myself for any other American collaboration. Rihanna said ‘Unavailable’ is her best song, so I’m waiting to work with her,” he said.

He also claimed that his song with Chris Brown, ‘Blow My Mind’ is the best Afrobeats and American artists’ collaboration after Drake and Wizkid’s ‘One Dance.’

“Blow My Mind’ with Chris Brown was the first US x Afrobeats collaboration to go crazy aside ‘One Dance’,” Davido said.

Popular Afrobeats star, Davido has taken to the ‘X’ platform to notify his followers about the birthday of his beautiful wife, Chioma Rowland.

The doting husband who referred to his wife as a good woman, stated that she must be celebrated.

The singer’s statement was made on his media page with a caption which reads: “My wife’s birthday in a bit !! We’re running mad!!!!!! We must celebrate a great woman!”

Na Davido Papa Buy The Jet No Be Am — Samklef Insists

Nigerian producer, Samklef has said reports that singer Davido just bought a new private jet is untrue.
He claims that the jet was bought by Davido’s dad not the singer.
He took to his Instagram page to make a series of posts congratulating Davido for his father’s new acquisition.
He wrote;

Being The Father Of Twins Is The Best Feeling Ever, They Don’t Cry – Davido Opens Up

David Adeleke, the world-famous Afrobeats singer, who is popularly known as Davido has relished being a father of twins.

The DMW boss described it as the “best feeling ever.”

Speaking in a recent interview with Billboard, Davido said people said it would be difficult for him and his wife to raise the twins, but it has turned out the opposite.

He said the twins don’t cry, and they are growing so fast.

“I remember when they came, everybody was calling like, ‘They have twins, blah, blah, blah. It’s gonna be hard.’ But, my twins are blessed. They don’t even cry.

“They’re just calm and they’re just growing so fast. It’s just a blessing. Thank God for everything really,” he said.

The also talked about his forthcoming album.

He assured that the album would arrive this year.

Davido went on to hint on another collaboration with Chris Brown which he said would appear on the American star’s album scheduled to drop in two weeks time.

He said he and Brown has over 20 unreleased songs together, hinting at the possibility of a joint project.

Davido unfollows Rexxie following mockery about not having a Grammy

Famous Afrobeat singer, Davido Adeleke unfollows the record producer, Rexxie on Instagram following a subtle mockery regarding the Grammys.

This came following a statement made by the producer on the X platform, bragging about his status in the music industry.

Rexxie, who asserted that he received nominations for his production work on Burna Boy’s Grammy-winning album ‘Twice As Tall‘ and the Grammy-nominated song ‘Do Yourself’ by Angelique Kidjoand Burna Boy, proudly mentioned to a Davido fan on Twitter that he had been nominated for a Grammy before Davido.

He also mentioned receiving the “Gra” before stopping short, leaving the statement incomplete.

“Before your fav get Grammy I’ve already gotten it. I no use sympathy or dance with kids on uniform or attend the show early with my full squad and family members. Respect!” he stated in a now-deleted post.

Following the back and forth on X before Rexxie finally decided to delete the posts, Davido took it up and unfollowed the producer across social media platforms.

Davido Unveils Music Faculty In Uganda University

David Adeleke, the world-famous Nigerian singer, who is popularly known as Davido, has unveiled the Faculty of Music and Arts at the International University of East Africa in Kampala, Uganda.

The Nigerian artiste disclosed this in videos and pictures shared on his Instagram story on Friday.

Davido was also given an award with the inscription, ‘Davido Hall’ for a hall named after him on the university campus.

Upcoming singer, Young Duu has revealed why it’s harder to access music giant, Wizkid than Davido.

He spoke during a recent chat with Phyna on her podcast, Spill with Phyna.

The former ‘Zeh Nation’ signee revealed that the two musicians are not equally accessible.

Young Duu said that Wizkid is difficult to see and meet when he’s at an event.
He noted that when Wizkid is at a function, meeting him is very hard because of his people that would be swarming around him.
In comparison, he noted that Davido is more easier to see and meet.
In his words …
“To see Wizkid is not easy. If Wizkid dey here like this, if you want see Wizkid them gas to throw you there. Or na Wizkid come come pick you. But to see Davido still dey near me.”
