Portable and Charles Okocha Clash Again Ahead of Lagos Boxing Rematch

Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, also known as Portable, and Nollywood actor Charles Okocha renewed their feud on Friday following a furious exchange ahead of their much-anticipated celebrity boxing battle in Lagos.

The tense incident occurred during a pre-fight event, when the two celebrities faced off on stage before security intervened to keep the situation from escalating.

Videos from the event, which have since gone viral online, showed Portable and Charles Okocha exchanging insults, standing toe-to-toe and throwing mock punches, while a moderator attempted to keep the discussion focused on the upcoming bout.

Portable expressed confidence that he would emerge victorious once again, insisting he had prepared thoroughly for the contest and would repeat his previous win over the actor.

He declared that he was the man for the job, that he had prepared and would go on to win and fight again, boasting that he would beat Okocha once more.

Okocha, however, brushed off the singer’s verbal jabs, urging him to save his energy for the ring.

He told Portable to reserve his talk for the fight on the 31st, warning him not to disrespect him, insisting he was not on the same level as Portable.

The dramatic face-off quickly drew reactions from fans and celebrities online, with many sharing clips of the confrontation and offering predictions on the outcome of the rematch.

Organisers have confirmed that the boxing event will be streamed live.

The rematch comes months after Portable claimed a unanimous decision victory over Okocha in their first encounter. Following that defeat, the actor invoked the rematch clause, setting up another showdown between the two celebrities.
