Yesterday, the former world number one announced the news on her official social media page. On her Instagram account, she shared a picture of her baby’s scan along with the caption: Can’t wait to get back on the court but here’s a little life update for 2023″.

Osaka has been on and off the tennis court for a variety of reasons, with mental health serving as the primary reason. Osaka won’t be competing in this year’s grand slam, according to the Australian Open’s organizers.

She added;

The past few years have been interesting to say the least, but I find that its the most challenging times in life that may be the most fun. These few months away from the sport has really given me a new love and appreciation for the game I’ve dedicated my life to. I realise that life is so short and I don’t take any moment for granted, everyday is a new blessing and adventure. I know that I have so much to look forward to in the future, one thing I’m looking forward to is for my kid to watch one of my matches and tell someone, that’s my mom. 2023 will be a year that’ll be full of lessons for me and I hope I’ll see you guys in the start of the next one cause I’ll be at Aus 2024.

The prize money for the 2022 FIFA World Cup is $440 million, and here is a breakdown of how it is distributed among participating countries.

This year’s tournament featured 32 teams from around the world, including 13 from Europe, five from Africa, four from North America, four from South America, and six from Asia.

Qatar, Ecuador, Wales, Iran, Mexico, Saudi Arabia, Denmark, Tunisia, Canada, Belgium, Germany, Costa Rica, Serbia, Cameroon, Ghana, and Uruguay were among the teams to earn $9 million each.

Others who advanced to the round of 16 – the United States, Senegal, Australia, Poland, Spain, Japan, Switzerland, and South Korea – each received $13 million. Brazil, the Netherlands, Portugal, and England earned $17 million each for reaching the quarter-finals.

Morocco earned $25 million for finishing fourth.

Croatia, which finished third, received $27 million.

The runner-up between Argentina and France will receive $30 million, while the winner of the 2022 FIFA World Cup will receive $42 million.

The tournament will officially conclude on Sunday, December 18, 2022, when France takes on Argentina for a chance to lift the trophy and win the grand prize.

For the first time since they acquired the team 19 years ago, the Glazers family has put up Manchester United Football Club (2003).

Amancio Ortega, the 18th richest man in the world, has expressed interest in purchasing Manchester United from the Glazers. According to Forbes, Ortega, 86, is worth 61.3 billion dollars. The senior executives have been told of his interest in United, according to the Manchester United Evening News.

Ortega, who owns 59% of Inditex, last year named his daughter Maria Ortega Perez to lead the Zara clothing company (2021). Eight retail locations are operated by his Artexio company, which as of January 31, 2022, had revenue of €27.7 billion.

He owns real estate holdings in Madrid, Barcelona, London, Chicago, Miami, and New York, among other cities, but he has never invested in a sports business.
