I Regret Gifting A Lady A Range Rover Because Of Love – Nigerian Comedian, Sabinus Opens Up (Video)

Emmanuel Chukwuemeka Ejekwu, a Nigerian comedian, who is popularly known as Sabinus, has opened up about a painful relationship experience in which his partner left him despite his lavish gestures of love.

Speaking in a recent livestream with TikToker Sandra Benede, Sabinus described love as “cruel,” stressing that he resonates with what TikTok star Peller is going through following his breakup with his girlfriend, Jarvis.

Sabinus explained that he has been in a similar situation with Peller, who has been throwing public tantrums and involved in a ghastly car accident following the heartbreak.

He recalled how a lady he gifted a range rover out of love later left him. The comedian said he regretted the decision.

He urged Nigerians not to be harsh on Peller, stressing that love can be cruel sometimes.

“Jarvis has finished Peller. I have been in Peller’s situation before. Love is cruel.

“I once gifted a girl Range Rover because of love. She later left me. I regretted it. So nobody should blame Peller,” Sabinus said.

Recall that Sabinus confirmed that his marriage to his wife and mother of his child, Ciana Chapman, has ended during a TikTok livestream in December 2025.

The couple got married in a private ceremony in 2023, and the marriage lasted for just over a year.

Why Anthony Joshua’s Mother Should Be Blamed For Fatal Accident – Actress Lizzy Anjorin Makes Controversial Claim (Video)

Nollywood actress Lizzy Anjorin has responded to the road accident in Ogun State that claimed the lives of two close friends of British-Nigerian boxer Anthony Joshua during his recent visit to Nigeria.

The actress, in a video shared online, blamed the boxer’s mother for allowing him to travel to his hometown during the festive period instead of staying in high-security parts of Lagos such as Lekki, Ikoyi, or Banana Island.

She said a better choice of location could have helped keep him away from danger.

Anjorin added that a world-famous sports figure should not be moving around freely in such areas, especially during crowded holiday visits.

“Anthony Joshua’s mother is to blame. She didn’t put her son in a better place like Lekki or Ikoyi, she watched him go back to his village for the festivities.

“What reasonable mother would watch her son go back to that kind of place?

“Why couldn’t she put him somewhere like Ikoyi or Banana Island?,” she said.

The tragic crash happened in Ogun State and claimed the lives of two of Joshua’s companions, while he escaped de@th.

The boxer had been in the country to spend time with family and reconnect with his roots when the sad event occurred.

I Paid A Price For That Decision – Nigerian Actress, Bimbo Thomas Speaks On Why She Stopped Accepting Thug Roles (Video)

Nollywood actress Bimbo Thomas has explained why she stopped taking “thug” roles after gaining widespread recognition for her performance in Funke Akindele’s film Omo Ghetto.

In an interview with Chude, the thespian said she made the choice on purpose because she did not want to be known for only one type of character.

Bimbo said she wanted people to see that she could act in many forms, not only as a street tough person.

She explained that in the industry, many actors are often fixed in one image, and she did not want her career to go in that direction.

She believed she had more to offer and wanted room to show it. She also shared that the choice was not easy.

At that time, she was still building her career, and stepping away from such roles slowed her down. Work was reduced, money was reduced, and even some friendships were affected.

Later, when she had a baby, she had to focus more on her child. Endorsement deals helped during that period.

Bimbo rose to fame after her tough street role in Omo Ghetto, one of the most popular Nigerian films, which later returned with a sequel titled Omo Ghetto: The Saga.

Her strong performance drew more attention to her, but it also placed her in a narrow role space.

She said she walked away from such characters so that her future roles would not be limited.

She said, “Yes, I did stop. You know, as a thespian, I really wanted to showcase myself, my versatility and other sides of myself apart from what God has used Funke Akindele to do. In this part of the world, actors get stereotyped and typecast, and I knew I had more to offer than being boxed into one role.

“Looking back, the decision may not have been right at the time because I was not yet fully established. But I was also afraid that if I became too well-known for that image, it would be harder to diversify later. If I had started producing then, things might have been different.

“That choice slowed things down for me. Then I had a baby and needed to focus on my child. Thankfully, endorsements came in; otherwise, it would have been tough. I paid a price for that decision. I lost roles, I lost money, and even some friendships.”

My Husband and I Don’t Act Our Age – Nollywood Actress Priscilla Ojo Speaks Up (Video)

Nigerian actress Priscilla Ojo has revealed that the age difference between her and Tanzanian singer Juma Jux does not affect their relationship.

She spoke about it while chatting with Pulse Nigeria after many people kept asking about their ages.

She explained that she is 24 while Juma Jux is 35, but she does not judge their relationship based on numbers.

According to her, what matters most is the heart and how both partners relate with each other.

Priscilla said she did not even know his age when they first met because he looked young and carried himself with style.

She added that spending time together made her focus more on their bond and not the difference in age.

She also shared that they do not behave strictly according to their ages.

She said she acts more mature than people expect, while Jux is playful and relaxed.

They enjoy creating TikTok videos and having fun together like close friends.

Priscilla made it clear that the age gap is not a problem for her, even though many people online talk about it often.

She stated that their connection is what matters to her.

She said: “This age thing. To be honest, to me, I feel like age is just a number. And as long as it’s not so crazy, crazy, like I mean. But I feel like age is just a number. And it starts from here, the heart.

“When I met him, I didn’t even know he was like his age. Like, he looked very young. He dressed very nice. He looked, you know, very young. Likewise. And yeah, we’ve got to meet and story. I don’t see the age like that. I don’t.

“Because with us, we don’t even act our age. I don’t act like I’m 24. It tells me I act so mature. He doesn’t act like he’s 35. He acts like, you know… you see us doing TikToks, having fun, just being ourselves.

“So yes, that’s it. I don’t really see the age difference as a problem, the way some of you say it though.”

Anthony Joshua Reunites With His Late Friends’ Families In U.K, Shares First Post Days After Fatal Car Cr@sh

Former world heavyweight boxing champion Anthony Joshua has made his first social media appearance since a fatal car accident in Nigeria that claimed the lives of two of his close friends and team members.

Joshua sustained minor injuries in the incident that killed his friends, Sina Ghami and Latif “Latz” Ayodele on Monday, December 29, on the Lagos–Ibadan Expressway.

The 36-year-old boxer, who was discharged from the hospital on New Year’s Eve, returned to the United Kingdom on Saturday.

He made his first public comment since the accident in a post across his social media handles on Sunday.

Joshua shared the post, pictured alongside the families of Sina and Latz, with the caption “My Brother’s Keeper ❤️🕊️❤️.”

The image, posted across his social media pages, shows the ex-heavyweight champion offering support and solidarity.

Both Sina and Latz will be laid to rest later on Sunday (today).

The accident occurred when Joshua’s SUV, carrying the boxer and three others, collided with a stationary truck due to reported brake failure.

Joshua, who had just arrived in Nigeria for a holiday following his recent knockout victory over Jake Paul, narrowly escaped death after switching from the front passenger seat to the back moments before the impact, a move prompted by his size obstructing the driver’s view.

He sustained a leg fracture but was reported to be in stable condition without needing emergency medical intervention.

I Would Have D!ed — Nollywood Actress, Bimbo Thomas Recounts Terrifying Armed Robbery On ‘Omo Ghetto 2’ Set (Video)

Nollywood actress Bimbo Thomas has recounted a terrifying ordeal in which armed robbers allegedly invaded a hotel housing the cast and crew of Omo Ghetto Part Two during filming in Ebute Metta, Lagos—an incident she said almost claimed lives.

Thomas, who portrayed Nikky in the blockbuster film that launched her into mainstream recognition, revealed that the attackers appeared to be targeting filmmaker and lead actress Funke Akindele.

She linked the incident to an earlier clash between hoodlums and the production team.

Speaking during an interview with Chude Jideonwo, published on Saturday, Thomas explained that filming the movie, which centres on street life and gang culture, attracted frequent harassment from local hoodlums.

“We were shooting in Ebute Metta, and boys would constantly disrupt the set because the film reflected their everyday reality,” she said.

Although she grew up in the neighbourhood, Thomas said familiarity did not shield the crew from interference, making it necessary to increase security presence on set.

“It’s my area. I thought they would respect me, but we still had to bring in security so we could work,” she added.

The attack, she said, happened late at night after filming had wrapped up.

Cast members were lodged in different hotels in the area. Thomas said she had initially stayed elsewhere until Akindele invited her over.

“Funke insisted I join her. She suggested we do a massage like we usually do after work,”she said, adding that Eniola Badmus stayed in another hotel.

According to Thomas, the incident began shortly before 1:00 am.

“We suddenly heard loud banging and people shouting ‘Ole! Ole!’,” she recalled.

Realising the hotel was under attack, panic spread among those inside.

“We were terrified. Funke is very prayerful, so we all started praying,” she said.

Fearing Akindele was the main target, Thomas said they attempted to hide her.

“I told them she was the face everyone knew. We tried hiding her under the bed, but it didn’t work, so we moved her into the bathroom,”she explained.

Akindele hid beneath her gown while the others knelt in fear.

“The masseuse was praying in tongues, Funke was praying in tongues, and I was just pleading with God for mercy,” Thomas said.

Although the attackers initially failed to break in, they later returned and forced their way inside.

“When they came back, it was obvious they were searching for Funke. They were calling her name,” she said.

Akindele eventually came out of hiding.

“I thought they would just collect valuables and leave, but instead they asked her to dress up and dragged her downstairs to her car,”Thomas recounted.

What followed, she said, was shocking.

“I heard Funke singing Emi Omo Ghetto. I didn’t understand what was happening. They ordered her to sing and dance, and she did,”she said.

Thomas disclosed that while only six armed men entered the hotel, about 20 others were positioned outside.

“We had no idea they were that many. We were completely helpless,” she said.

Emergency calls were made to prominent individuals, including Oba Saheed Elegushi, who reportedly mobilised help.

Officers from Panti Police Station later arrived, and gunshots were heard as security forces confronted the attackers, forcing them to flee.

“It was total chaos. Someone was shot, a pastor was rushed to the hospital, and about 20 to 30 of us were stranded at the reception confused, scared, and praying,” she said.

Thomas revealed that months later, she learned several of the attackers had been arrested, while others were reportedly killed.

“I was grateful. At that moment, I was ready to attack one of them without thinking. I could have been killed,” she said.

She traced the attack to an earlier incident on set, where some hoodlums who disrupted filming were arrested and made to record apology videos.

“Even though we settled the area before filming, that incident offended them deeply,” she explained.

Describing the experience as cruel and heartless, Thomas said it left a lasting emotional impact.

“When Funke later asked why I didn’t hand her over, I told her if they were going to kill her, they would have killed all of us together,” she said.

“We are grateful to God truly grateful,” she added.

Singer, Portable Escape Police Arrest After Allegedly Ass@ulting Baby Mama, Ashabi Simple

Controversial Nigerian singer Portable has reportedly evaded police arrest following an alleged assault on his fourth baby mama, actress Ashabi Simple.

The incident reportedly happened on Thursday, January 1, 2026 during Ashabi’s visit to his bar in Ogun state.

In a viral video of the incident online, Ashabi, who was seen holding the singer’s cloth saying she’s tired of being called his baby mama, insisted that Portable must also recognise her as his wife.

She said: “Oya Pami baby, I’m also your wife, you’ve to stop calling me your baby mama.”

Portable immediately pushed her and replied that he only recognises his wife, Bewaji, noting that other women that have kids with him are baby mamas.

“I only have one wife, the rest of you are just baby mamas,” the singer said.

His response escalated the altercation with Ashabi responding emotionally “Then you will have to k!ll me, baby.”

After the commotion, the actress and her siblings reported Portable to the police for assault and abuse.

Speaking in a video on Instagram, Ashabi revealed that the police met Portable’s pregnant wife, Bewaji at home as Portable escaped arrest.

“I celebrated the new year in a happy mood with my family. You are the one that called me that you’re in a bad mood, and I told you that I went to my dad’s house for the new year. And you asked me to bring new year food for you and I said ok.

“I called you when I got to your bar, and you asked me to meet you outside. When I got there, we had a minor disagreement and you slapped me, beat me up, seized our phones and threatened my siblings and I with axe,”she alleged.

Reacting to the fight, many Nigerians berated her for forcing herself on him, while some said she has low self esteem.
