I Always Get Sad And Cry Whenever I Pump Milk For My Baby – Janemena

Popular Nigerian dancer and brand influencer, Janemena has opened up about the struggles of motherhood.

The mother of one, in a recent post, revealed that she always gets unhappy whenever she starts pumping milk for her baby.

While sharing her experience, she asked fellow mothers if they also experienced such while nursing their children.

In her words:

“Does this happen to any mum who pumps!? Whenever I’m pumping I get so sad, unhappy, overthinking and starts crying most times.

“Now, Pumping doesn’t hurt so I don’t understand why that happens. The very minute it comes off my chest. I’m good again. It’s super crazy and it’s just like magic.”

Why I’m Quitting Comedy – Basketmouth

Ace comedian, Bright Okpocha, popularly known as Basketmouth has opened up about quitting comedy to build his own industry.

He explained that he did not plan to become a comedian as he initially started with rap and then moved on to drums and music.

He realized that he had inadvertently become a comedian and decided to build his own industry.

Basketmouth mentioned that he had already delved into other areas such as movies and music concerts, and had stopped doing stand-up comedy and event anchoring six years ago.

He plans to retire from comedy in five years to pursue his dream of building his own industry.

He said: “When I started comedy, when I start my career na rap I start with. Then I started playing drums. From drums, music come dey improve small small. My first music wey I produced na like in 1995.

“That was the time I tried to blend hip-hop and afrobeats. But we no sabi do am so e no too work. But we tried.

“When I come discover say I dey do comedy na by chance. I no plan comedy because comedy just dey. But when I come dey see everything, I come say ‘okay Bright, you need to start designing how you want do this thing (comedy).

“My intention na to build my own industry. I no wan dey part of the industry per se. Which is why, if you notice over time, I don put head inside sitcoms. I don put head inside movies. I’m working on a movie right now. I don do music concerts. I dey do comedy shows. I see say I don dey touch everywhere. I don release album.”

“Then e reach one point, I tire. I say ‘this is not honest’ because e no sweet. What I was blessed with was the talent of being a stand-up comedian. I no be MC. Na IK dem, all those people, dem be MCs. We come force ourselves. E reach one point I say I no dey do again. Six years ago, I come dey run away from MC events.

“As I come resumed (MC), I resumed this year fully. I come say ‘Bright, you no go fit run five years, you no go fit run the rest of your life doing comedy so put your time frame to five years so you can have time to do it. E fit no even reach five years. So you go fit get time to focus on other things’.”

Basketmouth added: “To be honest, I feel say I don build the foundation for everything wey I want do. No be where I want dey be this o. There’s a plan but I need to do all these things.”

I Was Slapped By Thugs During Electoral Campaigns – Mr Ibu

Veteran actor, John Okafor, aka Mr Ibu, has recounted his unpleasant experience in the hands of thugs during the recently concluded electioneering campaigns.

The actor who said he was “partially involved” in politicking, narrated how he was manhandled by thugs while campaigning for his preferred candidate.

He was featured in a recent interview by Vanguard TV.

Okafor said: “Nigerian politics [laughs]. Partially, I was involved o. The only thing different is that there were some situations where there was thuggery.

“Where we went to campaign, I received slaps from people that I don’t even know. But there was so much to slap because it didn’t mean anything to me.

“I collected like three or four slaps, free, from other boys. ‘Why did you come here? [They asked]Before I answer that question, gbosa! You won’t even like the sound of the slap because the people that are slapping are idiots because their slap is not human,” he recalled.

On his long absence from the industry, Mr Ibu said his comeback movie was already in the works, adding that the shooting was halted because of the current situation of the country.

Popular Yoruba actress Lola Ajibola has said that the notion that a relationship or love can work without money is a lie.

The Yoruba actress, Lola Ajibola, has taken to her Instagram post to share her opinion about the impact of money on relationships and have it controls the couple involved.

Lola Ajibola asked people to stop deceiving themselves, thinking being in a relationship or falling in love with someone who is not financially stable will make the courtship work.  According to her, a man cannot rely on motivational quotes to keep a woman.

While lauding the singer’s music promotion strategies for his latest album, Don Jazzy advised other Nigerian acts to emulate him.

Nigerian actor/producer, Yul Edochie has now cleared his Instagram page hours after he deleted photos of his second wife, Judy Austin and their son on the photo-sharing app.

Edochie’s decision to empty his Instagram page has caused diverse reactions on social media.

As of the time of filing this report, Edochie’s page is now bare, devoid of any posts.

Recall that Edochie recently lost his first son Kambilichukwu whom he had with his first wife, May.

Kambilichukwu died last month after developing a seizure and was rushed to the Mother and Child Hospital in Lagos.

Mabel Makun, has taken to Instagram to share a cryptic post hours after Basketmouth granted an interview about his beef with her husband, AY.

She stated that some people pass information in an aggressive manner because that is the only way they know how to do so.

The interior designer wrote: “I have come to realize that some people pass information in an aggressive manner because they know no other way.”

She added: “Everyone can’t be soft spoken. Understand this and know peace.”

This comes after Basketmouth said during an interview on The Honest Bunch Podcast that he and AY were never friends and neither AY nor his wife Mabel, were invited to his wedding.

AY Is Not My Friend, I Didn’t Invite Him Or His Wife To My Wedding – Basketmouth

Ace comedian, Bright Okpocha, aka Basketmouth, has given an insight into his relationship with colleague, AY Makun.

He clarified that AY is not his friend and he also has never visited his home.

He made this statement on The Honest Bunch Podcast in response to AY’s claim that he was turned back at Basketmouth’s wedding.

AY had claimed that when he went for Basketmouth’s wedding, his wife Mabel Makun’s name was on the guest list but his name was not on the list so he and his wife went home.

Reacting, Basketmouth said that AY is not his friend, hence was not invited to his wedding.  Basketmouth added that neither AY nor his wife were invited to his wedding.

Basketmouth said: “Just to set the record straight, number one, AY is not my friend. We have never been friends. I’ve never visited his house. I’ve never personally invited him to my house. I never ever call him one day say, ‘O boy where you dey make we hang out.’ “

Recall that AY and Basketmouth have been beefing each other for 17 years, after an incident that happened in 2006.

Basketmouth, during a Black Box interview with media personality Ebuka Obi-Uchendu in 2021, disclosed that he fell out with AY because he messed with loyalty.
