How I Cheated Death In 2023 — Charly Boy Opens Up (Video)

Charles Chukwuemeka Oputa, the veteran Nigerian entertainer popularly known as Charly Boy, has narrated how he cheated death in 2023.

Charly Boy stated this in a post on his official Instagram page.

Recounting the near-death experience to his fans on Friday, the entertainer stated that he survived prostate cancer.

While appreciating God for being alive after battling the deadly illness, he noted that many have lost their lives to it.

Sharing the video of him after surgery, Charly Boy wrote: “Many things bin happen this year 2023. The good, the bad, and the ugly. But most importantly, I cheated death for something wey no suppose kill us but has killed many.

“I’m a prostate cancer survivor. God, I’m grateful. I know this year remains small but still, by His Grace, me and everybody reading dis, shall see 2024. Iseee!!”

Popular Nigerian singer, Portable has been spotted in a video counting the wads of dollar notes he made during his just-concluded tour in the United States.

Recall that the singer travelled to the United States a few days ago, and there were several occasions where he was seen socializing with notable personalities abroad.

He was spotted with British rapper, Skepta, who also took him to a fashion show.

Reports mention his performances at various venues abroad, where he received monetary gifts from the audience.

Upon returning to Nigeria, he showcased the money received during his international tour.

Wike: Asari Dokubo Queries Tinubu Over Rivers State Political Conflict

Former Niger Delta militant, Asari Dokubo, has expressed displeasure with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s handling of the ongoing political crisis in Rivers State.

Dokubo questions why President Tinubu has not stepped in to resolve the conflict between the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister, Nyesom Wike and Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara.

The former militant leader who considered President Tinubu a friend, believes he should have taken active steps to manage the situation, particularly in controlling Wike’s actions.

Dokubo, in a video on his Facebook account, stated, “Why is it that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, my friend, cannot reel him in?”

He accused Wike of overstepping boundaries and interfering in matters that do not fall under the jurisdiction of the Federal Capital Territory.

Dokubo said, “The president, Bola Tinubu, called the minister of FCT, Nyesom Wike, and the governor of Rivers State, Siminalayi Fubara, to Abuja and asked them to maintain the status quo.

“Why is the status quo no longer maintained and respected? Why is the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, overstepping this agreement? Why is he doing that? Why is it that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, my friend, cannot reel him in?

“Why can’t he bring this man (Wike) in and tell him to maintain the status quo? President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, there are a lot of things involved in this Rivers State matter, and as a friend, I’m advising you that if you are not careful, Rivers State will become your albatross.

Nollywood Actress, Sonia Ogiri Exposes Nigerian Crossdresser Who Secretly Got Married

Nollywood actress, Sonia Ogiri has claimed that a popular Nigerian crossdresser secretly got married and is now expecting a second child with a woman.
Recall that a few weeks ago, Sonia and Bobrisky fought dirty online over claims that the crossdresser was responsible for the trends of males parading themselves as female.
The health condition of Jay Boogie had caused the fight between the duo as Sonia vowed never to donate money to him, blaming Bobrisky for deceiving young boys, but the latter warned the movie star to avoid making issues with him.
In a post on her Instagram page on Tuesday, she claimed that the crossdresser inspired other young men down a dark path, but is secretly married to a woman with a family.
She wrote: “Days after, paid privately to follow up. Oga has married secretly oh, and his wife even get belle, oga is a man at night and a woman during the day. Oga secretly visits at night and is on the internet deceiving young boys that should focus on more productive things. I know a low now.
 
“You should know who but if you don’t then you can never know the cause of Nigeria’s problem. Congratulations are in order as we Nigerians always show love. Oga has 1 and is expecting another, just dey play. This little gossip is between you and me, I close page since two weeks so no other person fit see am, I just day make i share with you because I love you oh, me don dey go, No call my name oh.”

Governor Adeleke Returns To Nigeria After One Month, Says I’m Not Sick

Senator Ademola Adeleke, the Governor of Osun State, has returned to Nigeria after a month of working vacation outside the country.

The governor, who arrived at the Murtala International Airport, Lagos on Wednesday, said he feels refreshed and recharged for more service to the people of the state.

“I’m elated to be back to Nigeria in the midst of my people. You all can see I’m in an excited mood as I’m now recharged and refreshed to deliver more good governance and service delivery to the people of Osun.

“The insinuation of whether I’m sick or otherwise is unfounded. I am as fit as a fiddle.  I went on a working vacation to both recharge and meet partners for the development and progress of our state.

“Those spreading falsehood about my trip are just embarrassed and dumbfounded by our achievements. That’s why they’re spreading all those unfounded rumours

“I’m back now, hale and hearty. The good work continues in Osun,” the governor was quoted as saying in a statement by his spokesman,  Olawale Rasheed.

Man Accuses Pastor Of Marrying His Wife, Demands 6 Million Naira Bride Price (Photos)

A Nigerian pastor Godwin Bankole has been called out for allegedly marrying another man’s wife.
The accuser, Mr Uduak Usanga took to his Facebook page to make the accusation.
He claims to be the previous husband of Christiana Obot, who gave birth to seven children.
According to him, Bankole must return the N6 million naira he paid as bride price before he can be allowed to marry Obot.
Usanga revealed that Christiana Obot, the woman in question, had initially been married to her first husband, with whom she had three children. Subsequently, she married the accuser, Mr Usanga and together they had four children, totaling seven.
The accuser questions the pastor’s choice to marry a woman with a significant age gap, urging him to consider a younger partner. Furthermore, he alleges having evidence of marriage payments and documentation related to their traditional marriage and wedding.
The aggrieved party questions whether Pastor Bankole’s church doctrine permits such unions and accuses him of stealing his wife and children. The accuser claims that the pastor is not only unapologetic but also threatening legal action through court and police.

In response to the accusations, Pastor Godwin Bankole has pleaded with the accuser to come to his house and collect his N6 million naira.

In a video that has attracted thousands of likes, the singer was seen with one of his recently signed artists, carefully placing the gold necklace around his neck.

After this generous gesture, the singer calmly sat down while smoking his cigar, surrounded by several gold necklaces around his neck.
