2027: Nobody Is Coming To Save You – Aisha Yesufu Tells Nigerians

Popular activist Aisha Yesufu has described the 2027 general elections as an opportunity for Nigerians to fight for their lives.

Yesufu warned Nigerians that nobody is coming to save them in 2027, hence they should forget about any form of miracles.

Posting on X, she charged Nigerians to abandon any expectation of external intervention in fixing the country’s challenges, stressing that the responsibility lies squarely with citizens.

According to her, what many perceive as a “miracle” is simply God granting citizens the opportunity to remain alive and to actively participate in choosing those who will lead the nation.

She emphasized that Nigerians must rise to the task of making informed political decisions rather than shifting responsibility to divine intervention while failing to act.

Yesufu further warned that the battle for Nigeria’s future is already underway, describing the 2027 general elections as a critical moment that will determine the survival and direction of the country.

She wrote: “In case you missed my New Year message, no one is coming to save us.

“It is we, Nigerians that will save ourselves.

“The miracle we pray for, is God keeping us alive to be part of the decision makers on who the people are that will govern Nigeria.

“The time for decision making is now. We should not abdicate our responsibility to God and refuse to do the needful.

“2027 election is Nigerians fighting for their lives and it has already started.”

AFCON 2025: Chelle Reveals What Will Happen If Nigeria vs Morocco Goes To Penalties

Super Eagles head coach Eric Chelle has addressed the possibility of their 2025 AFCON semi-final against Morocco being decided by a penalty shootout.

So far, only the last-16 clash between Mali and Tunisia was decided via spot-kicks at the tournament.

Nigeria lost by penalties to the Democratic Republic of Congo in the 2026 World Cup intercontinental playoff in November.

And when asked about his team’s preparations for a shoot-out in case the match against the Atlas Lions extends beyond extra-time, Chelle replied: “I will go to the mosque to pray to win if we get to a penalty shootout.”

If the Eagles are able to beat the host whether in regulation time or penalties, they will take on Senegal or Egypt in Sunday’s final.

Why Do You Want My Life To Revolve Around Chaos? – Actress Regina Daniels Slams Ned Nwoko

Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has responded following the arrest of her close friend, Ann, in Lagos.

In a series of Instagram story posts shared on Tuesday, Regina questioned the reason behind Ann’s arrest and linked it to her personal issues with her estranged husband, Senator Ned Nwoko.

She expressed worry about Ann’s safety and claimed the arrest was not carried out through proper legal means.

Regina stated that the situation had taken a troubling turn, saying that what began as a domestic violence matter had shifted into other accusations.

She explained that Ann had previously been accused of supplying drugs, an allegation she said was later cleared without confrontation.

According to her, the new claim of theft only surfaced after she chose to address issues calmly rather than engage in conflict.

The actress also said that her former partner was determined to keep her life filled with tension despite having already achieved much in his own life.

She accused him of repeatedly changing accusations and creating ongoing drama around her and those close to her.

Regina further stated that she had many private and public experiences she could share but chose to hold back, believing that doing so might only fuel what she described as a pattern of attention-seeking behaviour.

She concluded by questioning the purpose of the continuous public disputes and what the end goal might be.
