Toke Makinwa Replies Fan Seeking to Know Identity Of her Baby’s Daddy

Nigerian media personality, Toke Makinwa has replied a fan who commented on the identity of her daughter’s daddy.

The fan had claimed that Toke’s babydaddy is a Muslim.
According to the fan, Toke’s decision to name her daughter, Yakiria Eliana after welcoming her first child, a baby girl, in August 2025 means that her baby’s father is a Muslim.
The fan wrote, “I think Yakira’s dad is a Muslim.”
In response, Toke Makinwa said her baby is not a Muslim, explaining further that her daughter’s name is a Hebrew name, which means “beloved, precious, and someone of great worth.”
She wrote, “He is not. Yakira is a Hebrew name. Beloved, precious and someone of great worth”.

Recently married Nigerian Afrobeats star and businessman, Oluwatosin Ajibade aka Mr Eazi has revealed his plan to contest for the presidency.
According to him, he has been thinking seriously about this decision for a long time.
He stated further that his aim is not to make money but to bring transformation and development.
He said, “I have been thinking about it. I think it’s time to share it with you guys. Some of you might be from some country, specifically in Africa, and you are looking for a president; a president who is not looking for money and power but forward-thinking, young, active and can move your country better.
 
“So, I’m officially putting myself forward for the presidency.”

I Married My Ex-wife Because She Got Pregnant – Daddy Freeze

Popular media personality, Daddy Freeze has claimed he married his ex-wife because she got pregnant for him.

He stated this during a recent interview with Chude Jideonwo.

Speaking about his ex-wife, Opeyemi, Freeze said he wouldn’t have married Opeyemi “if she were not pregnant”.
 
“We had no business getting married because we were very young, and immature. I was 24, and she was 22 when we married. She was pregnant. If she were not pregnant, I’m not sure we would have gotten married.
 
“So pregnancy was one of the factors that influenced the marriage,” he said.
Speaking about the divorce, Daddy Freeze accused Opeyemi of denying him access to their children. “It has been nearly ten years,” he alleged.
“My ex wife and I are very stubborn. She will not hear, and I will not hear. It was two damaged people in a union. My only pain is marriage no work, can I see or talk to my kids on the phone? They’re out of the country. I traced them but I don’t want to sneak up on them. If they want to see me, a DM on social,”Freeze stated.

Portable’s lookalike has taken to social media to cry out for help, alleging threat to his life.
This comes after the singer had threatened him for performing his songs at a shows.
Speaking in a viral video, he alleged that Portable wants to deal with him for singing his hits without permission and collecting money from the performance.
He said:
“Please don’t kill me the way they killed Mohbad.”
Recall that the lookalike had been dressing like Portable, even copying his signature hairstyle and mannerisms.
He is also reportedly performing the singer’s songs and collecting money.

Peter Obi Demands Stern Punishment For Politicians With Forged Academic Certificate

The Labour Party’s presidential candidate in the 2023 general elections, Peter Obi has demanded stiffer punishment for certificate forgers.
He spoke in a post on his verified X handle on Monday.
Obi stressed the need to end the era where forgery and deceit are rewarded with power, adding that true leadership must begin with truth.
He lamented that the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, makes little or no effort to scrutinize certificates before the elections.
“How do you tell young Nigerians to be honest and upright when those they are supposed to emulate are the least to be emulated because they are criminals and dishonest?
 
“Certificate forgery is a serious criminal offence in all countries of the world. It is one of the most corrupt practices heavily punished.
 
“We are now preparing for the 2027 general elections. INEC have enough time to investigate past complaints about various forms of forgery and false claims.
 
“Our Electoral amendments must include that anyone intending to contest for any public office, whether an incumbent or a new candidate, must submit all academic certificates to the electoral body immediately after party primaries, at least six months before the election.
 
“We must deal with certificate forgery holistically with the seriousness and level of criminality it deserves. Criminal offences should not be dismissed as a mere procedural matter. We must end the era where forgery and deceit are rewarded with power. True leadership must begin with truth,” he wrote.

BBNaija: How Viewers Voted Imisi Winner of 10/10 Season

The official voting chart showing how viewers voted has been released.
The organisers of Big Brother Naija Season 10, dubbed 10/10 released the chart following the emergence of Imisi as the ultimate winner of the show.
Imisi was officially crowned the winner on Sunday, October 5, 2025, during the live grand finale hosted by Ebuka Obi-Uchendu.
The season, which began with 29 contestants, concluded with nine finalists: Kaybobo, Isabella, Jason Jae, Mensan, Kola, Sultana, Koyin, Dede, and Imisi.
During the live finale, evictions narrowed the group down until Dede was announced as the first runner-up, leaving Imisi as the last housemate standing.
Following the finale, the organisers unveiled the official voting breakdown, showing how viewers across the globe cast their votes in favour of Imisi.

Guardiola: Haaland “not stupid enough” to leave Manchester City for Barca

Pep Guardiola has dismissed rumours linking Erling Haaland with a move to Barcelona, insisting the prolific striker is “not stupid enough” to consider leaving Manchester City after penning a 10-year contract extension.

Haaland, who has already scored 11 goals in eight games this season, recently committed his long-term future to the Premier League champions.

Reports in Spain had claimed Barcelona president Joan Laporta was targeting the 25-year-old as part of his re-election campaign, but Guardiola was quick to ridicule the speculation.

“He Isn’t stupid enough” – Guardiola

Speaking ahead of City’s weekend fixture, Guardiola said Haaland’s decision to stay reflected his ambition and intelligence.

“I think Erling isn’t stupid enough to sign something he doesn’t want to accomplish, that is for sure,” he said.

“But it’s football, who knows what will happen? Nobody knows. What I do know is that he has a long contract here, and he’s doing really well and scoring a lot of goals.”

The Spanish manager, who spent four years managing Barcelona, admitted he understood why his former club would be interested in a player of Haaland’s calibre.

“Every club dreams of Haaland”

Guardiola added that Laporta’s admiration for Haaland was only natural, given the Norwegian’s extraordinary impact.

“Can you tell me one club that wouldn’t dream of Erling Haaland?” he asked.

“I understand Barcelona dream of him, and so would every club in the world. If he weren’t with us, it would be a dream for Manchester City to have him.”

The 53-year-old praised Haaland’s integration into the team, crediting his teammates for creating the opportunities that allow him to shine.
