Davido And Amaju Pinnick End Rift

Afrobeats singer, Davido and the former president of the Nigeria Football Federation, Amaju Pinnick, hae ended their rift.

The two had clashed in 2023 after Davido failed to perform at the Warri Again comedy and music show, despite Pinnick’s promotional efforts featuring Davido’s image.

The dispute, which escalated on social media, and then ended in court, has now been resolved out of court.

Davido took center stage on Saturday to perform at the highly publicized 2024 edition of Warri Again.

The event featured performances by notable comedians and musicians, including De Stalker, Oritsefemi, Odumodublvck, Fave, Shallipopi, and Phyno.

BBNaija S9: Victoria Opens Up On Relationship With Shaun

Big Brother Naija Season 9 finalist, Victoria has talked about her relationship with colleague, Shaun Okojie.
Victoria and Shaun went into the house as Shatoria before they were later separated.
Despite her partner, Shaun, starting a romantic relationship with Wanni barely weeks into the show, there were rumours that Shaun and Victoria were romantically linked before the show.
Speaking in a recent interview with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, Victoria admitted that she and Shaun had a history.
She said their relationship was strained by a series of “silly fights” they were engaged in during the lockdown.
She disclosed that Shaun’s girlfriend in the house, Wanni, asked her about her relationship with Shaun before they started dating.
 
“I will be very honest: I and Shaun did have a bit of back and forth during the lockdown; we were fighting over silly things. Going into the house, he found his confidant, and I had to deal with a lot of emotions on my own,” Victoria said.
“Going into the house, I knew I wasn’t going to like anybody because my standard are very high, I know what I want. When I got into the house, I honestly did not see anybody that I liked. Even Wanni asked if me and Shaun had something, I told her no.”

Manchester City Win Legal Premier League Legal Battle

Manchester City Football Club has won its legal battle with the Premier League over the Associated Party Transaction rules.
Reacting in a statement on Monday following the favourable ruling, Manchester City expressed gratitude to the members of the Arbitral Tribunal for their work and considerations and welcomed the findings.
“The tribunal found that both the original APT rules and the current (amended) APT rules violate UK competition law and the requirements of procedural fairness,” the statement said.
The tribunal criticised the Premier League for its application of the APT rules, stating that the rules were structurally unfair and that the league was specifically unjust in how it applied those rules to the club in practice.
This resulted in specific decisions by the Premier League regarding Manchester City’s sponsorship transactions being set aside.
The tribunal also found that the rules were discriminatory in how they operated because they deliberately excluded shareholder loans.
The statement added, “As well as these general findings on legality, the tribunal has set aside specific decisions of the Premier League to restate the fair market value of two transactions entered into by the club.
 
“The tribunal held that the Premier League had reached its decisions in a procedurally unfair manner.
 
“The tribunal also ruled that there was an unreasonable delay in the Premier League’s fair market value assessment of two of the club’s sponsorship transactions, and so the Premier League breached its own rules.”
 
“The club has succeeded with its claim: the Associated Party Transaction (APT) rules have been found to be unlawful, and the Premier League’s decisions on two specific MCFC sponsorship transactions have been set aside.

I Charge Up to $100,000 For Influencing – Bobrisky Alleges in New Voice Note

Popular crossdresser Idris Okuneye aka Bobrisky has made a new claim.
He alleged that he collects up to $100,000 for influencing on social media platforms.
He noted that while many people believe he’s into money laundering and fraudulent acts, his source of wealth is from a genuine source, with one of them being social media influencing.

This was revealed in a video posted by popular social media influencer, Martins Otse, a.k.a. VeryDarkMan, on Monday, October 7, 2024. The call recording was made on May 16, 2024, according to VDM.
 
“All the money I have is genuine and the sources are like most of my influencing [sic], like that day I called you that one woman wanted to pay me £10,000, you know I told you that it’s for influencing. So, people don’t know how I charge a lot of money for influencing but I made them understand I charge as far as $100,000 to influence,” Bobrisky allegedly said in a recorded voice call with a male contact whose name remains unknown.
The crossdresser who was convicted for mutilating the naira in April and sentenced to six months in jail, noted that he had access to his mobile phone while in custody.
The male contact had initially asked if Bobrisky was out of prison before he responded in the negative, then he said he hadn’t been talking to people over the phone.
He said, “People have been sending me so many messages but I’ve not been responding because I don’t want anybody to know that I have my phone. I only want to talk to somebody that I know I can trust.
 
“So if you think you cannot do it, all fingers are equal. Some others do it and trust me, God blessed the hustle. Obviously, I met a very terrible judge who wasn’t fair at all.”

Recall that Saka celebrated his birthday on September 5 on Saturday after Arsenal’s 3-1 win over Southampton in the Premier League.
It was gathered that the England international rented out a Mayfair restaurant, had some of the world’s biggest rappers perform.

British rapper Dave, 26, a long-standing friend of Saka’s, performed an exclusive set featuring one of his most well songs, Location.
