This Should Be The Last Time You Mention My Baby’s Name In Your Video – Actress Dayo Amusa Blasts Lizzy Anjorin

Dayo Amusa, the popular Nollywood actress, has issued a stern warning to fellow actress Lizzy Anjorin after fresh online drama erupted in the wake of her son’s first birthday celebration.

The clash followed a grand party Dayo hosted for her baby boy, who turned one.

The event drew many familiar faces from the movie industry, including Iyabo Ojo and Mercy Aigbe.

Clips from the party trended widely, as viewers claimed the band’s lyrics sounded like subtle jabs aimed at Lizzy.

Lizzy later went on Instagram Live on Thursday, accusing Dayo and Iyabo of disrespect and insisting the performance was targeted at her.

In reaction, Dayo sent a heated voice note that is now making the rounds online, warning Lizzy to stop involving her child in any online drama.

She made it clear that they are not friends and reminded Lizzy of past issues that made her distance herself, even when Lizzy once tried to visit her after childbirth.

Dayo said she responded through Instagram messages because she did not have Lizzy’s phone number, the same way Lizzy once reached out to congratulate her after her son’s birth.

She said, “I don’t want to have issues with you. We both are parallel lines that can never meet. We are not friends. You called me out after I delivered my baby. You also said you wanted to visit me and the baby, but I declined honorably because of your fracas stuff.

“Let this be the last time in your entire life that you will ever mention my baby’s name in your video. I don’t joke with my child. If you try it again, my reaction will be outside social media and you will not like it.

“Stay on your lane and respect yourself. Don’t use my child for your video shenanigans, if not, people will feel pity for you by the time I am done with you.

“I don’t ever want to have anything to do with you.”

BBNaija Star, Boma Reveals He Spent Over ₦2 Million Before Entering The House (Video)

Boma Akpore has revealed what truly happened behind the scenes before entering the Big Brother Naija house and explained why he felt frustrated after the show.

Speaking in an interview “With Chude”, he explained that many people assumed he had it easy, but the amount he spent even before getting selected was already overwhelming.

According to him, while some people only paid for transport to auditions, he had to take a flight, pay for a hotel for a whole month, and buy brand-new clothes for a show he wasn’t even sure he would get into.

He said the hotel bill alone cost about ₦70,000 per day at the time, and by the time he entered the house, he had already spent over ₦2.1 million.

Boma added that after the show, the backlash made things worse because brands suddenly backed out of deals for things he said he didn’t even do.

He said some endorsements came close, but just before payment something would happen online and the deal would crash.

According to him, people would accuse him of things they never actually saw, and the same people complaining about how the country works were contributing to the problem.

Boma said the whole situation left him angry because he had spent his own money, taken big risks, and still ended up being judged over narratives he insists were never backed by evidence.

Boma said the situation changed dramatically when his partner’s family intervened and refused to accept him, citing things they had heard about him.

According to the BBNaija star, the rejection was a direct consequence of the public scrutiny that comes with his fame.

He said, “I met someone that I really liked and I was going to marry. I was supposed to be engaging her like last August, I was going to go to America, get the ring, bring it back because I liked her and I told her I was going to marry her.

“It was an amazing relationship, we had a little bit of ups and downs but it was perfect. I thought we had a perfect relationship till the family got involved and said ‘this guy? Hell no, impossible.’

“So that collapsed everything and that was very discouraging. If I was not in entertainment or public eye, nobody would know some things about me. Once you come on the public, that is the prize you have to pay.”

The world-famous Nigerian singer, Adekunle Gold has shared a personal experience that moved him to tears.

The ‘Many People’ crooner revealed in a podcast that the last time he cried was a few months ago while walking down the street.

The emotional moment came when he watched his daughter, Deja, perform for the first time via a video call.

The singer described the overwhelming mix of pride and longing he felt, realizing he could not be there in person to witness his daughter’s milestone.

The experience made him reflect on the sacrifices involved in building a successful career while also caring for his family.

Adekunle Gold explained that these emotions inspired his song “My Love is the Same”.

He said: “When was the last time I cried? That was the last time I cried. Like two, three months ago. Do you remember what it was about? Oh yeah, Deja was performing and I wasn’t there, so they called me on video. So they called, showed me, and it was her first performance.

“I’m like, nah, this is crazy. It’s like the price you have to pay for building and doing this thing that you have to do, and also, of course, looking after your family.

Reality TV star, Mercy Eke has revealed that she is prepared to raise a child as a single mother if marriage does not happen soon.

Mercy, who is the first ever female winner of the Big Brother Naija show, shared in an interview that she feels both mentally and financially ready to take on the responsibility of parenthood alone.

The 33-year-old influencer explained that at this stage in her life, she would go ahead with having a child even without being married.

She said that the usual societal judgment about single motherhood does not affect women who are financially independent.

She explained that her hard work has put her in a position to support herself and her children comfortably, and that the stigma of raising kids without a father mainly targets those struggling financially.

Mercy also mentioned that marriage is not her current focus because she has not yet met someone who matches her expectations.

She stated that she is still waiting to find the person she wants to spend her life with.

She said: “I’m ready to have a child outside marriage… At this point, I think if I get pregnant now, I’m just going to have my baby.

“I have worked so hard, and I think I can take care of myself and three kids. For me, what people don’t know is all this stigma of having kids without a father is only applied to people who don’t have things going on well for them.

“I’ve not met the person that I will want to spend the rest of my life with.”

BREAKING: NNPCL Reduces Fuel Price After Dangote Refinery, Depot Owners Cut Rates

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited has lowered the pump price of premium motor spirit following a reduction in ex-depot prices by Dangote Refinery and other depot operators.

According to Daily Post, a correspondent who went round filling stations in Abuja on Thursday, found that the state-owned firm has slashed its fuel price to N930 per litre from N945.

The downward adjustment has been implemented in NNPCL retail outlets in Kubwa Expressway, Gwarimpa, Wuse Zone 4, Zone 6 and filling stations within Abuja and environs.

This means that NNPCL reduced its fuel retail price by N10 per litre.

It was also observed that other Nigerian filling stations, such as Ranoil in Gwarimpa, have reduced fuel pump prices by N5 to N935 per litre from N940.

Similarly, MRS and AP Ardova filling stations in Abuja are currently dispensing their petrol between N930 and N935.

The development comes as Dangote Refinery and depot owners such as Pinnacle and Aiteo dropped ex-depot prices by at least N10 to N846, N845, and N844 per litre, respectively, as of Thursday morning.

Earlier, the spokesperson of the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria, IPMAN, Chinedu Ukadike, told Daily Post that fuel prices may drop further as the ongoing petrol price war intensifies.
