What A Bandit Told Me When I Asked Why They K!ll People – Ex-Minister Dalung Shares Chilling Encounter (Video)

Former Minister of Sports Solomon Dalung has recounted a chilling encounter with a bandit he shared on TikTok some time ago.

Speaking in an interview with News Central, Dalung stated that he asked the bandit why they were k!lling people, and he replied that vigilantes also k!lled them and took their cattle.

According to the former minister, the bandit claimed that this made them take up arms and decide to stay in the bush.

He said, ‘’I was on TikTok one day and a young bandit, trained in the bush. He said he is a bandit in the bush. Then I asked him; why do you k!ll people?’ and he said ‘’well, they were also k!lled and their cattles taken away by the vigilantes and so they took up arms and are in the bush.

“And I said ‘But you k!ll also k!ll fulanis like you and rustle their cows’ and he told me ‘’look, the only Fulanis they know are the ones in the bush. Anyone that is in the town is not a fulani’ If they see them, they will k!ll them.’’

Dalung said he asked how to stop this trend of attacking and maiming people. He said the bandit responded saying they are up for negotiations for them to drop their weapons.

‘’The confidence he was talking with was quite scary,”
Dalung said.

He called on the National Assembly to amend the constitution so Nigerians can bear arms to protect themselves.

Prepare To Return To Lagos In 2027 – Ex-Minister Dalung Warns Tinubu

Solomon Dalung, a former Minister of Youth and Sports Development, has cautioned that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu could be forced to return to Lagos after only one term in office.

Dalung, who is a chieftain of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), gave the warning in an interview with the Nigerian Tribune on Saturday.

According to him, the failure of both the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to meet the expectations of Nigerians has opened the door for new political forces like the ADC.

“Tinubu may come to the conclusion that he should be preparing to return to Lagos by May 29, 2027,”
Dalung said.

He noted that many Nigerians are tired of the worsening economic hardship, insecurity, and poor governance, stressing that citizens will soon demand a new political direction.

Dalung dismissed President Tinubu’s earlier description of the ADC as a camp for internally displaced politicians, saying the party is fast emerging as one of the strongest platforms ahead of the 2027 general elections.

“The ADC is not just another minor opposition party. We are building a movement that will shock even the most doubtful Nigerians,”
he said.

Although he did not unveil specific strategies, the former minister explained that the ADC is in talks with stakeholders across the country and will present credible candidates who can challenge the current system.
