Habeeb Okikiola, the highly controversial Nigerian singer, who is popularly known as Portable, has joined the debate on who earns more between musicians and footballers.
According to the ‘Zazu’ crooner, musicians earn far more than soccer stars.
He further claimed that singers make more money than ritualists and fraudsters.
Portable spoke in a video message shared via his social media page recently.
He said, “Music money is bigger than football money. Music is business. Musicians earn more than ritualists and fraudsters. Apple Music revenue is huge. Footballers can’t compete.
“People saying footballers earn more than musicians don’t know what they are saying. Musicians are at the top.”

Habeeb Okikiola, the controversial Nigerian singer, who is also known as Portable, has called out his colleague, Davido, again.
Portable accused Davido of chasing clout with their recent dinner in the United States.
He lamented that, instead of making music with him or gifting him money, Davido used him to trend.
Portable insisted that the DMW boss should have given him at least $10,000.
The ‘Zazu’ crooner stated this in a video message shared via his Instagram page recently.
“Davido ripped me, you invited me out for a dinner in America, but you didn’t give me a verse or money, you just used me to trend. You should have given me at least $10,000,” he said.
Recall that Portable and Davido fell out after the former publicly accused the latter of giving him “bad advice” during their dinner in the United States.
Davido reacted by unfollowing Portable on Instagram, and the ‘Zazu’ crooner also unfollowed him.
A content creator who prides himself on being musician Davido’s lookalike, Twinobo has commanded Portable to apologize to the artist.
This comes after Portable mercilessly attacked Davido online, saying that Davido advised him to sign with the Empire label during their hangout in America, even though Davido is affiliated with Sony Music.
Portable, who was dissatisfied with the advice, fumed, seeing it as a deliberate plot to keep him from winning the Grammy. He questioned why Davido would give him such advice.
In a recent development, Twinobo took to Instagram to express his dissatisfaction with Portable’s jab against Davido, claiming that he should apologize immediately or risk being unfollowed.
Twinobo said that if he eventually unfollows Portable, it will have a significant impact on the singer.
He went on to attack Portable in Igbo, claiming that his attitude made it impossible for him to engage with Wizkid.
Controversial Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, aka Portable has shared a new freestyle dissing colleagues, Davido, and Zlatan Ibile.
The ongoing social media feud between the polarizing artist Portable and his counterpart Davido has escalated to a fresh level.
Portable has again hit hard at Davido after he unfollowed him on Instagram.
The duo fell out after Portable publicly accused Davido of giving him ‘bad advice’ during their recent dinner in the United States.
He claimed that Davido, who signed with Sony Music, advised him against joining the label and urged him to sign with Empire instead.
The ‘Zazu’ crooner alleged foul play, saying he is also aiming for a Grammy like Davido yet the DMW boss is asking him to join a label that might not influence the award for him.
Following his outburst, Davido unfollowed him on Instagram on Thursday.
Reacting, Portable said he doesn’t need Davido’s followership or assistance to be a successful artist or to win a Grammy.
He insinuated that Davido unfollowed him because he stopped being beneficial to him.
Speaking in a video message shared via his Instagram page, Portable said: “They tried to destroy me and quickly unfollowed me because I stopped being beneficial to them. Whether you help me or not, I will do my tour; whether you follow me or not, I will collect Grammy.”
